Old Tee

How much it means to me

My fav old faded tee

I had it since I was a child,

Now I've a college degree.

Who cares about good looks

When comfort is the key

Nobody seems to know

How much it makes me free

I wear it all day long

Yet now it's not that long

It reaches my waist though

It used to reach my knee.

Its collar all stretched out

Its backside all patched up

A washed-out shade of blue

Enhanced by stains of tea

If you wear it for a day

My friend, you'll say hurray!

You may never give it back

You'll love it, I guarantee.

My tee I don with pride

And then at home I hide

The print says 'I'm awesome!'

And I totally agree
