Sky reddens behind fire trees, birds

twitter  twitter twitter,   chirp chirp

in the half flight, dawn feeble ghostly

taints, shimmer with    red        stains

two people sleep together, holding

hands, larks take pleasure in sweet

hums,

         in hunger strike, he goes to the

new market, peaches and neon fruits

gawk back in awe aspirations, he licks

his tongue, in the flare lights:      trees

lost in driveway, he walks back where

he dies and revive in upper air,   men

have walk'd for centuries, history recite

love, loss, maze, endless scheme that

happens, happens when  love      dies

he found an angel beside,

                                            unattainable

desires, how changes in petals grey fate

rose, roll in every generation,       lying

and dreaming, in the absence of   light

as endless the gate was, it opens quickly

she walks back in black boots,     rides

higher and higher, he watches     back

over eating in low roots, whence  foot

stays firm, never cultivates higher grips

so, he lays down with naked     dreams

drunken words, filling       filling     filling

I landed on my earth, boots griming.
