JILLIYAN BARATHEON WAS THE SECOND DAUGHTER TO BORROS , and notably his loudest and derranged daughter amongst the six children he had.

It was no surprise that her father would marry her off to Aemond Targaryen at the age of ten, thinking that his daughter's eccentric behavior would calm down as soon as she saw the prince's missing eye. But unbeknownst to Borros, it made the girl even more interested in the prince.

HE NEVER REALIZED HOW MUCH OF A MISTAKE it was to pair the two, not knowing what they could bring to the table. The match was one that secured the Baratheon's allegiance to Aegon and the likes of him, bent knees and oaths meant nothing when Borros' own blood has "true born heirs" to the Iron Throne, Borros found himself hating but loving his daughter and her mad husband. But when King Viserys I died and the loyalties began to flow, Jilliyan became one of the most loyal members to the Green Council— going as far as she could for her dearly beloved Aemond.

Jilliyan is definitely Team Green, but her as an oc and her perspective of the events does not mean that I "hate Rhaenyra" or that I "think Luke was in the wrong for cutting Aemond's eye out." Please remember to separate the character from the writer, as I very much write more for Team Black characters than Team Green (two jace fics, one rhaenyra, and an addam velaryon fic, and so much more coming for Team Black). Remember that Jilliyan knows different events and stories from only one side of the coin. If you find yourself hating her then hating me for supporting whatever is done by the Greens PLEASE refer back to this chapter.
