do u ever just feel friendships slipping away slowly and you try to grab onto the tiny tendrils sweeping between your fingertips but you get so tired of constantly searching for one long enough to get a firm hold on it so u stop trying

and then the other person slowly fades until it's like the friendship was never there

and you're left feeling guilty like it's all your fault

because maybe if you had tried harder to grab onto those tendrils, that person would still be with you.
