I had come to the conclusion that my life was going to be boring a few years back. I knew I would probably end up in some boring city, in some boring state, with a boring job, and a slightly less boring wife (or husband, i'm not really picky) . But now I'm standing here on the campus of my dream college, getting ready to embark on the long journey to my dream job in the field of forensics- any type of forensics, really.  And now I'm wondering if maybe I could make something out of my life. Maybe live in a not so boring state with a not so boring spouse and the job I've been dreaming about since I was 12.

Aka the malec college/forensic partners AU that nobody (other than me) asked for. Should I try to write this or no?

For those of you who don't know what malec is:

1.) You obviously haven't been here for long (OTP! OTP!)
2.) Magnus Bane, free wheeling bisexual glittery warlock and Alexander (alec) Lightwood, serious, shy, closeted shadow hunter in a family that hates downworlders
3.) A downworlder is a vampire, werewolf, faerie, or warlock
4.) Shadowhunters are half human half angels that hunt demons and protect downworld and the mundane world (although they will murder downworlders given any chance)
5.) Mundane= human
6.) Takes place in The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, or the Shadowhunters TV series on Freeform
