I can't breath when you glance
Over and take the air from my lungs.

I can't move when your eyes
Meet with mine.

I just stop when you talk,
Listening to your voice.

Everyday I find myself falling
Over you, and I stand back up.

With your ruffled hair,
And kind honest eyes.
I smile when you walk by,
I wait to see you once more.

My heart had crossed a narrow bridge.
One with nervousness, and confusion
As I stood at the door.

My heart shuddered,
And my breaths grew short
As once again you caught my gaze.

Standing, I watch as you
Walk right past, and
Continue your walk.

I thought to myself,
"If only I didn't stay home,
And went to school with her."
