Love~Poth {Part 3}
Sadly, Goth got a lunch detention for his outburst. Cassie laughed at him, causing her to receive one too.
"Damn it..." Goth whispered, groaning. "On the first day too!" He exclaimed as Palette sat next to him. Palette smiled at Goth.
"Don't worry Goth, I could ask the teacher if I can join you guys!" Goth giggled, flattered by Palette's attempt to make him feel better.
"Palette, that's not how it works." Goth replied. He squeaked and blushed lightly when he feel Palette hold his hand. "P-Palette!" He whisper-yelled at Palette, looking away in embarrassment.
"...nani?" Palette asked in a cute little voice. Goth blushed even more. He looked back at Palette, only for Palette to give him a little peck on the cheek. Goth squeaked, his entire face flushed. He hid his face in his scarf, a habit he picked up from his mom.
"P-Palette that's g-gay!" Goth exclaimed quietly. He looked away again. Palette just giggled softly, beginning to actually listen to what the teacher was saying. Goth sighed, deciding to see what was happening. They were learning about something boring. Goth reached into his binder, taking out a book that his dad gave him. It was about reapers and how he (Goth) was almost going to become one.
Goth got so caught up in his book, when the teacher called on him, he didn't realize she said his name. "GOTH!" She called again, but louder. Goth just glanced up at her before going back to being engrossed in the sacred words on the page.
"Yes?" He asked with slight annoyance. He groaned lightly under his breath, trying to focus on the book that he really needed to read.
"What are you doing? Are you reading in my class?" She asked, stomping over to Goth, obviously infuriated. "Look at me when I talk to you." Goth sighed, looking at her with his singular eye. "You know what, give me the book."
"No way!" Goth exclaimed, protectively wrapping his arms around the book. He would do all he could to protect the book, especially since if people knew he was a Reaper, he wouldn't have even one friend. He preferred being bullied and having a few friends than everyone being scared of him and having zero friends. "This book is way too important." She just sighed.
"Put it away and I won't take it." Goth nodded, putting it away. Since everyone knew about the book, he would need to get it to his locker safely.
"What's so special about it anyways? Is it your diary?" Cassie giggled, deeply wanting to get her hands on that book. If it had secrets about Goth, then she was willing to risk it. "Can I read your book?"
"It's Goth's property and if he doesn't want people to see it, I'm not letting people see it." Palette said before Goth could respond. Goth blushed a light purple.
"It's personal...my dad said I should read it. Plus, I prefer reading over my dad explaining everything. It's complicated." Cassie gave a look of disgust.
"Is it a book about puberty or something?" She asked, pretending to barf.
"Well...I guess? I mean no one here is going to experience it so I guess it's my personal puberty?" Goth didn't know how to say he was apart of a prophecy without saying he was a God. "It's a long story that I feel uncomfortable sharing. Plus, you guys wouldn't believe me anyways." Goth didn't like where this was going, so he changed the subject. "We should get back to learning..."
"No," the teacher shook her head. "This is a lot more interesting! Continue." Goth giggled nervously, swallowing every last bit of hope.
"Well, um...I uh..." The bell rung, making Goth sigh in relief. "Well I got to go to next period, bye!" Goth quickly rushed out of the room, deciding to hold his book instead of having it in his binder. Luckily, Palette was still in his next period. It calmed him a little, making him more excited for next period, even though it was just history. His schedule went like this:
1. Science
2. History
3. Mathematics
4. Lunch
5. Music
6. Art
7. P.E.
8. Homeroom occasionally (like today)
He was happy to have P.E. last. He was also happy to have Palette in all of his classes. What are the odds? Goth giggled, looking forward to the rest of the school day.
~~Temskip to 5th period~~
While walking to Music class with Palette, Goth trembled. The music teacher wanted everyone to sing to her personally to hear the skill level of everyone. Goth was very shy when it came to showing off, usually resulting in him messing up. He was terrified, barely having the courage to step in the classroom. Palette had to drag him inside. Upon arriving, the two were greeted sweetly by the music teacher. She even gave everyone candy and sweets. Goth denied but Palette took a doughnut. Using magic, Palette was able to eat it. He even offered Goth some, who accepted because Palette keep urging him.
After a few minutes, the teacher starting calling people to come and sing to her. If you listened well enough, you could hear them sing. Most of them were decent. Some were really bad, and some were really good. When it was Palette's turn, he smiled at Goth.
"Wish me lucky!" He exclaimed, running over. When Palette started singing, Goth could tell he was good. He wasn't amazing, but he was far from just decent.
After a few students, it was Goth's turn. Since Goth didn't really have a last name, he was called last. He decided to sing a song that was a solo, and he knew the lyrics really well.
(This song owo:
Y'all can listen if u want)
After he sung, the music teacher clapped. "Wow Goth, you're really good." Goth blushed lightly, not used to compliments, especially from people besides Palette.
"T-thanks...but my mom is so much better than me." He giggled. He looked behind him to see Palette right there.
"Wow Gothy! You're really good at singing." Goth blushed heavily. He shook his head at Palette.
"You're so much better!"
"Nonsense!" Just then, the bell rung, signaling it was time for Art class, which the teacher was Ink, Palette's mom. Palette's step-dad, Error, was the P.E. teacher. Palette grabbed Goth's hand. "Let's go to art."
