Why...

Why does the kid do these runs?

Why do they kill everyone?

I pondered this as I sat in the house, thinking maybe a last chance was all the kid needed. After all, last run I found out they were being possessed my some dead demon kid...

But for some reason I don't think that brat ghost is the problem.

I decide to go check on paps, the kid wouldn't, would they?

"Papyrus, are ya there-"

I saw paps and the kid, Paps opening up his arms as the kid had a dusty knife in hand. I quickly took cover behind a tree as I closely watched.

"Human! you are going down a very dangerous path, although I, the great Papyrus, will be willing to help you get back on track!"

Papyrus lowered his height down to the human.

The kid had a look of pure disgust on their face.

AND SLASHED.

Paps' head dropped to the ground with a thud.

"W-wait! You don't need to do this I, I still believe in you please!"

Paps said it in a frantic way, begging the kid to spare him as they lowered their foot.

They let themselves stomp his head onto dust as it cracked away and blew in the breeze, leaving only his scarf to be found.

They walked off, sneering at the dust that was once my brother. I found them laughing a bit at it as they strolled into waterfall without a care in the world.

I teleported in front of the pile of dust, and picked the scarf up.

"Heh heh... Guess there's no hope for ya... KID."

I watched as they strolled off, and teleported myself to Alphy's lab.

Me and Alphys talked for a bit, soon saying I was going down to the true lab.

She begged me not to go down there, even though I already knew what was inside.  I simply pushed her aside and took her with me down there. I knew how this place was set up, and exactly where she kept the vials of determination. I plucked one out of the shelf as her eyes widened as she knew what I was about to do. begging me not to, she tried to reach for it as i held it above her head.

"I need to do this Alphys, you don't know what that kid can do."

Pap's scarf fell out of my pocket.

She took a glance at it, soon agreeing to let me inject the determination into myself, knowing there was not a way to stop me. She left as she glanced back at me, hurrying into the elevator.

Once she was gone, I held the needle of the vial to my arm as I pushed it in and injected the red substance into myself. I ended up using the whole jar, keeping myself from melting. Plucking up up pap's scarf, I threw it around my neck as I saw that the kid was already close to judgment hall from the cameras... damn they were quick...

I hopped on over there as I stood in my spot, waiting for them to appear.

They walked in thru the doorway, holding their shaky, dusty hand out to the save.

They gave the the biggest grin as their HP, EXP and LV showed atop them, assuring me that they had indeed went out of their way to kill EVERYONE.

DISGUSTED.

I threw them into a battle, and bones pierced thru their megalomaniac of a meat sack.

Their red soul showed in front of them as it cracked, shattering as the human faded away. That was easy, although the DT helped a bit. I saw myself get randomly tossed into a room that was completely black, showing two buttons in front of me.

CONTINUE            or              RESET

So this was how the kid was controlling everything, just a simple two buttons... I slammed my hand down onto the RESET button, believing that it would bring everyone back and everyone would be okay...

Even Paps.

but

I was wrong.

I was back in the judgement hall, the kid once again with their hand over the save.

"Hah hah... FOOLISH SKELETON."

They charged at me at full speed, not giving me any time to react. Their knife pierced thru my ribcage as I fell to the ground with a hard thud. i looked up to see them standing over me with a grin, I coughed up a bit of blood.

"Hehe... Guess that's it huh? J-just... don't say i didn't warn you..."

I got up and walked behind them as I dragged my feet on the ground.

"Papyrus... do you want anything...?"

Them it hit me.

The save screen, maybe if I could go there I could live!

I teleported into the save screen, the buttons once again popping up.

I held my hand over the RESET button once again, but retracted it as I remembered why I was here in the first place. I looked down and the scar was still there, but my clothes were drained of their color. I could only see out of one eye, glitches blocking my right.

Guess I'll be here FOREVER.
