+~Sci's POV~+

I had always found space ever so fascinating, that's probably why I fell for Star...

I glanced over at him, his galaxy eyes peering up at the starry sky above us.

Oh yeah.

We were on an asteroid in his AU.

I looked up at the dazzling sky before us both, entranced in all the stars that everyone in my timeline longed to see for so long... no wonder Star loved his AU. I looked back at the starmap I was making, not noticing the gaze Star was giving me. I soon whisked my head around.

"Uhhh... hi...?" I would say ti the starry-eyed skele.

"? Oh! Sorry, just looking at your uhh.. s-starmap!"

His blush lightly tinted the cheeks of his skull, a light purple blended with deep blue. the colors enhanched the the charming, scientifically impossible freckles that i could not find out how were there. we were skeletons, how would we have freckles? I shook the thought off, continuing the starmap. I sighed as I let thoughts fill my mind, soon tracing back as to how in the multiverse I would tell this guy that I wanted to be more than simple friends. I laid my pen down as I gazed up at the vast sky, folding up the starmap.

"... Star?"

"Yeah Sci?"

"... Nevermind."

No... i couldn't just straight up say it... there needed to be buildup. I needed for it to be special... but... how...?

+~Star's POV~+

Huh... weird. Sci looked like he was thinking about something. i saw a light blue tint his face, although i brushed it off, as it was cold here.

"Whatever you say, glasses."

I plucked up a flower, about to start plucking the petals off when i heard a portal open behind us.

"Heya Sci! heya Outer!"

It was ink...

"Oh! hello ink! what would you be doing here...?"

"Oh, nothing much, just checking to see if anyone was here! clearly, you two are!"

Ink then went on to sit down on the other side of me, talking about how error was planning on bringing here for something (cough proposal cough cough).

"Oh well! I guess tomorrow, possibly!"

I looked over at the peaceful, now asleep glasses-wearing skeleton beside me. If only he knew...

+~Sci's POV~+

Ink, after a bit had left. im pretty sure both me and outer knew what error had planned for ink, but we didn't speak of it.

I stared at the starmap in front of me, adjusting my glasses.

"now or never..." i softly would whisper to myself.

"? what was that sci?" Star would ask.

"... Star?"

"uh... yeah sci?"

"....Nevermind."

"aw come on! stop doing that, what are ya thinkin about?"

"why do you wanna know so bad?" I would glance over at him, a blush lightly tinting my face. i attempted to hold it back, although it being barely noticeable.

"Because you keep acting like you're gonna say something and then you dont, it's annoying!"

".... Fine. Although it's... easier to show than to tell"

"... uhh Sci? what do you mean by that-"

I grasped onto his shirt, underneath the puffy jacket he always wore over it. Pulling him towards me, i tilted his chin up so his shorter stature could meet my height.

It was then that it seemed that the entire multiverse would explode.

I had kissed him.

+~Star's POV~+

OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODHEWASKISSINGMEOHMYGOD

I mentally screamed to myself as he pulled away for air, both of our skulls erupted into a blush that could be seen miles away. I whipped my hood on and shoved my face into that, as he would shove his into his labcoat. Little i knew, my brother AND undyne were  watching from a cloud of space dust a few feet away. Until pap shouted out

"BROTHER! GOOD JOB! YOU GOT INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT GUY YOU TOLD ME YOU LI-"

Undyne cut him off, shoving him back in the bush. the damage was already done as i whipped my head over, but they were already back in the cloud of dust.

Sci then grabbed me, whipping me around and bringing me into his nerdy embrace. noticing this, i hugged back, clear that we were obviously a thing now due to the past few moments.

We stayed like that for what seemed like forever, afterward finally letting go and gazing up at the stars above. i could practically hear papyrus squealing in the backround in the cloud of spacedust.

"... does that tell you, Star?" Sci would say.

"of course it does... i don't know what else would."

"WAY TO GO SANS! NGAAAAAAAAAH!"

"UNDYNE WOULD YOU BE QUIET-"
