OK so this is gonna sound super stupid and trashy and dumb, and I don't usually rant about this type of stuff but

As a girl it gets me when people won't let me hold doors for them.
Like, I was walking out of a store and I wanted to hold the door for an older man cause dude! People hold the door for me to be polite, it makes me feel good, I wanna do the same for others to make them feel good! So, I open the door for this guy(one of two sets in the place) and he opens the first door like he's gonna walk through. And he just stands there holding it open. I'm standing here trying to be polite, and he just turned me down. I mean, I get holding the door for a girl is polite, but whys it only gotta be polite to some people when it's a man for a girl or a girl for a girl(or a man for a man sometimes)
Like also, TO SHOW THAT MY GRIEVANCES ARE WITH EVERYBODY AND NOT JUST THOSE OF THE MALE GENDER
I'm walking out of Macy's and these two girls walk in the first set of doors.
Me, trying to be polite once again, decides to hold the second door open. They walked in the door where walking straight would've put them through the one I was holding, but no.

Like seriously! They stopped and turned around specifically so they wouldn't have to go in the door I was holding. Now something you gotta know about me, I'm polite until you reject my politeness. Then it's just pure salt n shade. I just looked back at them and said, "Wow okay I'm tryin to be polite, rude." And walked out.
