I don't think calling someone by the wrong gender should be illegal.

Yes, it is very disrespectful to do it on purpose, but it would also be stupid to make it illegal. It would be difficult to prove in court, and people could just falsely accuse someone of doing that.

Also, everyone makes mistakes. I've called my friends by the wrong pronouns many times. I do feel terrible about it and try to correct myself, but it still happens.

I think we should all just kind of chill and respect that other people have different opinions.
