So, if you've read any of my stories you MIGHT have guessed that I don't do a lot of planning . . . for better of for worse (usually worse).

Anyway, this year I'm planning to go NaNoWriMo, so I decided to crack down and do some serious planning for my NaNo novel, Woman Overboard.

Soooooooo here's the summary.

Alessandra Broderick is the widow of an American pirate captain in the 19th century. In the midst of his death, she now finds herself captaining his ship. 

After a vicious attack by another pirate ship, she's forced to accept the mercy of another captain: Afiba Igbi. Raised on a plantation in Aless's home of South Carolina, Afiba is not only a beacon of hope to an enslaved race but Alessandra's polar opposite.
