"Dan? No! He is my most trusted waiter. He's been working here since the place opened. I can't believe it!" Frank's face was dull with confusion. I knew he was great friends with Dan. Most nights when the cafe closed they would still be here. They could talk for hours. It all made sense. He probably got the safe's password from Frank. Frank did trust him with his life after all.
"I'm afraid it's true, Dad. Raven and I caught him in the act. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes but there he was emptying out your safe." Lucy looked at her father. I knew she was just as surprised by the incident. She knew Dan from the day she was born. He was like an uncle to her and like a brother to her father. I knew how hard ot must be for them.
"Lucy," I said cautiously," We have to get to school pr we are going to be late." Lucy looked up at me. I haven't seen her this sad since her mom died. That must make it even harder. Her mother was just as good friends with Dan. He really was like family to them.
"I hate to leave you like this, Dad. Is there anything I can do for you?" Lucy looked concerned at her father.
"No, you girls head on to school or you'll be late. It was really nice seeing you again, Raven." Her father tried to force a smile but we all knew he was hurt.
"Just the same to you, mister Frank. Goodbye." Lucy and I exited the cafe and started making our way to school.

"If you don't feel like dealing with Tod I can come up with another plan. You've been through a lot." I said on our way to school.
"No. We can deal with him. Just because something happened to me doesn't mean I am not going to help you get out of a sticky situation. After all I need something to distract me." It was no use arguing. Lucy looked as determined as ever.

When we got to school Tod was waiting for Lucy at the gate.
"Walk with me Lucy. I have something to ask you." Tod said ordering her. Lucy quickly gave her bag to me and ran to Tod, giving him a hug.
"Oh, how I have missed you my sweet Tod." Lucy said looking at him as if she really was madly in love with him. She was a brilliant actress.

"So..." I asked Lucy during break.
"So?" Lucy said pretending not to know what I was asking.
"Are you going to make me pry it out of you? What did Tod ask you? Is he on to us?" I looked worried at Lucy.
"No, he is not on to us. He asked me to be his girlfriend. Just what we wanted." Lucy was so excited as if she really wanted to be his girlfriend.
"When can we put the final part of our plan in motion?" I asked just as excited as she was.
"I'm going to hang out with him at that open field where he took the picture of you. He said there was a barn there where we could have a picnic. I think we can do it then."
"Wow. He is quite the romantic, isn't he?" It kind of surprised me. I thought he was just going to hang out with her at school. I guess I was wrong.
"Not quite. He told me that I have to bring the food and a blanket to sit on" Lucy looked disappointed. I guess she kind of bargained for a free meal.
"I can ask my mom to order you some pizza. Just say what kind and I'm sure she'll get it for you." Lucy looked grateful.

I hid on the same floorboard on which Lucy and I hid when we were sabotaging Rick and his goons. I didn't have to wait for long until Lucy and Tod showed up.
"Let's sit here in the middle." Lucy said with an overly sweet voice pointing to a spot on the middle of the barn.
"Sure. Why not. So, what's for lunch? I hope you got me a special meal. I'm super hungry." Of course Tod would take advantage of someone who he thinks is clearly head over heels for him. After a while it got boring listen to Lucy forcing compliments out of her mouth and Tod not even trying to answer her. Suddenly I saw that Tod's phone fell out of his bag when he sat down. I slowly lifted the phone up using my telekinesis. Fortunately I got the phone to me without any complications.
"His phone's password is 995320." Lucy told me telepathically. I typed in the password but to my horror the password didn't work.
"It didn't work!" I telepathically yelled at Lucy starting to go over in a panic attack.
"Don't worry. Put the phone in his bag. I have an idea." Lucy said calming me down. I quickly did what she asked.
"Hey Tod. Let me see your phone." Oh no! That was to blunt.
"Why?" Tod asked suspiciously.
"I haven't put my number in your phone yet. Let me do it." Lucy looked innocently at him.
"Sure." He handed her his phone.
"What's your password?" Lucy asked still looking as innocent as ever.
"985320." He said without giving it another thought. After she put a fake number into his phone he put it back in his bag. Lucy offered him another slice of pizza and I quickly got his phone. After I put in his password I deleted the picture of us. It didn't take Lucy long to wrap up her 'date'. The horror was finally over....or was it?
