Kid helped you with the dishes . He was such a tsundere .
"So who is he anyways?"
You rinsed your hands and dried them.
"He's my friend and Lucifer put him in charge of the Gates. So since Mugiwara ran off he's here to take him back."
He scratched his head and sat down on the couch .

"Lucifer? The devil? He's real?"
You raised your eyebrows.
"She."
"What?"
"Lucifer is a she . And yes she's real"
Kid sighed .
"Kid is actually one of her 8 Generals !"
Luffy grinned sitting on an armchair.
"I see... so you're like really important.."
You said . It would be a lie to say you weren't scared . But as long as you didn't make them mad it would be ok right?

Or at least that's what you thought....

Expecting this Killer person to appear out of nowhere or barge into your place you were surprised to see he actually knocked . Opening the door you greeted him with a big smile , much to his surprise.
"Hello , you must be Killer !"
"Hello. Yes and you must be y.n . I'm here to pick up the escapee and apologize in Lucifers behalf for causing you mortals discomfort "
He offered a small bow .

He was actually quite..... civilized.... . Thinking about it demons weren't exactly as told by the tales of religions.
"Oh , it's alright Luffy helped me with my stuff. Would you like some food?"
You offered him your own food. He was quite shocked as he accepted your offer and took the plate.

'This mortal.... She is unlike others. Humans chase away demons. They don't welcome us and certainly don't offer us food. I understand why kid took a liking to her.'
Killer thought as he muttered a thank you and ate the food offered to him.

When demons entered the mortal realm , their body underwent some... modifications....
They would be more humanoid and obtain human habits. They would need to eat and rest but not as often as humans. So Killer indeed was starving.
And if demons couldn't return to hell for more than a year , the human habits would grow stronger until they would be consumed by it and after the transformation which takes another year is complete, they would no longer be demons.

"So the only ones unaffected by this are Lucifer and the royal family. So you have to return to the underworld every once in a while . If you try going back after two years of no contact with the darkness of the underworld , you would turn to dust upon trying to pass the gate"
Luffy explained in a cheerful manner , happy to share some knowledge of his.

You thought.... and you thought.....
"Sooo...... what if a human tries visiting the underworld?"
They all looked at you like you had lost your damn mind.
"No mortal wishes to descend to hell. Everyone wants to ascend to heaven"
Killer spoke.
"But like.... what if someone wants to see hell?? Hell, i wanna see hell!"
You sounded quite excited about it.

"I mean.... the king used to be human.... and he visited hell as a human..... but pretty sure it's against the law"
Killer wondered.
"Dont say that cursed word!"
Kid raged. But, what cursed word?
"Law?"
You questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"I just tolD YOU NOT TO SAY IT!"
Oh, he was quite mad!

You were surprised. Why would he hate that word? Is he a lawbreaker? It cant be , he has to obey the devil to be a general.....
you snapped out of your thoughts hearing killers voice.
"The kings name is Trafalgar Law. Him and kid don't exactly like eachother. Long story short they are eachothers nemesis and thats why Kid is in the mortal realm right now. See, he was temporarily suspended from hell by the king because he-"
Kid quickly shut killer up.

"She doesn't need to know"
He growled . Killer smirked and held his hands up , surrendering.
"Well i must take this trouble maker back. T'was nice meeting you"
He vanished with Luffy.

You had to take in so much info your brain was tired .
"I think I'll take a nap...."
But oh , you had no bed!! Your bed was too old and creaking so upon moving out you set it on fire out of anger.
"I'll help you."
Kid hummed and soon enough he turned into this gigantic wild cat.
Too tired to question or complain you fell onto him face first and drowned in his soft fur . Drifting into a deep sleep.

You ran and ran and ran. But you didn't get far.
The shadow was onto you. It was the same old thing over and over. You already knew everything that was going to happen.
"You know you cant outrun me. Not like this. You need me to survive!"
The maniacal laughter echoed in your ears. Looking behind you you ran.... and you fell. You fell not because you tripped but because you hit a person.

"Easy there y.n-ya"
The voice mused.
You did not know this person.
He was never in your dreams. He was new. The cursed dream had changed.
"Who are you?"
You panted.
"But you just learned about me. I just came here to warn you about Eustass-ya. He's not who he seems. If you wish to live i suggest you don't get too close to him."
He said with the most bored tone.

You could not see his face. He was a shadow. And there were goldem patterns on hir chest , shoulders , arms and hands almost like a tattoo. And you could see DEATH spelled on his fingers.
"Thanks.....i guess...."
So awkward , you thought.
But this man knew about it now.
"Don't worry, my lips are sealed"
He chuckled and soon all that was left was darkness. No sound , no light... just a hollow abyss swallowing you whole.
