After years (hours) of chasing Yuuto, I gave up. I halted to a stop and panted real bad. H-He's fast! He wasn't kidding on I couldn't catch him! Dang...

My legs were sore from running. I don't have that MUCH stamina as Yuuto's. I'm really tired, so I sat on the land with grasses I was standing a while ago. Thank goodness, the shade of the tree blocked the heat from the sun.

"Yumi-chan? What are you doing here?" Said a voice from my back.

I turned around to see Kaito in an archery outfit/uniform/something. His eyes were filled with confusion.

"Just... Chasing someone who's an idiot." I answered while panting, still out of breath.

"Mou, it seems like you've ran kilometers, Yumi-chan." Kaito commented.

"I did. Thanks to an idiotic blue-haired..." I grumbled.

"E-eh? W-who, me?" Kaito asked curiously.

"N-no! Not you!" I sighed. "It's Yuuto..."

"W-wow! I never knew someone would match Taiyou's stamina!" Kaito exclaimed.

"How about you Kaito-kun? Shouldn't you be preparing for your archery competition?" I asked as he nervously chuckled.

"W-well..." He nervously said. "I-I'm nervous for the competition, Yumi-chan. It's already the finals!"

"You didn't really answer my question..." I mumbled.

"Whoops, ahahaha..." He nervously laughed. "I-It's just that I want to relax, and this is the place I usually hang out."

"Ah! Gomen! Do you want to be alone?" I said.

"N-no! I want some company too, Yumi-chan." He quickly said while sitting beside me.

We both became silent. It was the comfortable one, but still, some awkwardness was still lingering around. I just stared at the sky and decided to space out, so I cannot mind the awkwardness.

Minutes passed, yet it's still silent. Why is he silent?! I looked from the sky to him to see him staring at me. The way he looks at me... He's looking at me curiously. My cheeks reddened.

"W-What? Is there something wrong with my face?!" I tried saying toughly, but ended up stuttering.

"Nope." He popped out the 'p'. "It's that, you look cute when staring at the sky."

My cheeks reddened more. WHAAAAT?! Aren't you supposed to say it to the heroine or something?!

"E-EH?!" I exclaimed.

"You just looked so peaceful staring at the sky." He commented. "Isn't the sky beautiful?"

"W-well, thanks... If it's a compliment, and second... You're right; the sky is vast and blue..."

"I'm glad that you thought the same!" He happily exclaimed. "It's like the ocean... Wide, peaceful and blue..."

"Mm..." I agreed. "I guess you're right. This place has a relaxing vibe to it..."

We spent some minutes staring up at the sky. I also enjoyed the shade and breeze blowing; they're relaxing.

"Yumi-chan!" Kaito broke the silence. "A cat!"

"What? Where?!" He pointed above the sky. I looked at the direction he pointed and saw a cloud formation looking like a cat.

"It is!" I exclaimed. "Let's find more! Ooh! A dog!"

I pointed at a cloud which looked like a dog. He laughed at the sight.

"Look! A sheep and a cat!" That was unusual.

I looked above and saw a sheep and a cat, and it seems like the sheep is chasing the cat...? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

For a brief second, I saw an image of Haruki chasing Shou. I sweat-dropped.

"Ehhh?! It looks like Haruki-kun and Shou-kun!!" I exclaimed.

"It does!" He said in shock. "Haruki's the sheep, and Shou's the cat. It fits them both!"

We continued on finding animals-er-cloud formations. Some even made us remember the boys. For example, we saw two foxes, and I remembered the twins. We also saw a tiger, in which Kaito commented to be Taiyou. Then, we saw an owl. Owl symbolizes wisdom, right? Daichi seems like a wise/knowledgeable person, so I view him as an owl. The next animal was the wolf. No doubt, it's Yukio.

"Yumi-chan, what do you think? What animal will I be?" I pondered over his question for some time.

"Then, I'll guess you'll be a fish!" I answered.

"Eh? Why a fish?"

"I don't know... I guess since you're harmless." I shrugged. "And speaking about fishes, look! A fish!"

He looked at the fish and chuckled.

"Maybe you're right. I do seem like a fish." He then let out a yawn.

I was still looking over to the clouds when I felt a weight on my shoulders. I looked at that side...

And saw Kaito leaning his head on my shoulder. My cheeks started to flare again.

"K-Kaito! What are you doing?!" I hissed at him.

"Gomen, Yumi-chan..." He said drowsily. "I feel sleepy, and I just need a pillow~."

He snuggled his head on my neck and I just feel like fainting from embarrassment.

"Kaito-kun! What if someone sees us?! >.<"

"Don't worry, Yumi-chan. No one really visits this place----"

"Kaito! The competition will start a few minutes from now and----- oh..." Kaito got cut off by a voice. I turned around and saw a boy with the same archery uniform thingy.

Oh shoot! Someone saw!! >.<

I swear I heard the guy mumble, "This is so awkward."

"Um... Sorry for disturbing! I guess I'll just leave you alone with your girlfriend for a while. Bye!"

"I am not his girlfriend!!" >.<

"Gambatte Kaito!!" My 'friends' cheered throughout the crowd with the exception of Daichi and Yukio. Oh no, Masami got forced! I can feel the stares of people burning right out of us.

This is so embarrassing!

Now, the results were 2 wins and 2 loses. It's now all up to Kaito; it's a do-or-die. And did I forgot to mention that they're battling for the 1st place.

The competition started with the rival school first. He stretched the bow for some seconds, aimed, and shot. It's a...

The competition continued. It's a close fight! They usually hit the bull's eye, and if not, the shot usually is near it. I'm nervous by this. Kaito got the lead for a turn, then next, the opponent got higher points! This match is unpredictable! Who will win?!

Slowly, the match is nearing to its end, and Kaito got left behind! Come on, Kaito-kun, you can do this! My friends still cheered at him. I unconsciously stood up from where I was sitting and...

"Gambatte Kaito-kun!" I cupped my hands near my mouth and yelled. He froze at his tracks and looked at my direction. Even the gang stopped at their cheering and looked at me.

"What? Is it bad to cheer for a friend?" I huffed.

Kaito then gave me a smile and started aiming... Then he released his grip on the string...

And it hit right through the middle! Yes!

"Nice one Kaito!" Taiyou yelled.

The remaining turns were done, and this is the last one. The opponent got the lead, and only a bull's eye can make us lead for a point. The tension is already in the air, and I can already feel Kaito being tired. And being tired means not focusing or concentrating.

Kaito... I clasped my hands together, and hoped Kaito would win this match. He took a deep breath and sluggishly pulled the strings. My heart beats faster...

What if Kaito missed the shot?

He aimed for the center.

I shouldn't think about negative things!

He then released the string.

The arrow zipped through air, and I couldn't understand why, yet I feel like the time slowing down. The arrow is slowly reaching the target----- or not...

BULL'S EYE!!

"Yatta!!" We all cheered and went down. Taiyou got first and glomped Kaito, followed by Akane and then the rest of the gang.

"You scared us for a moment!" Masami said. "But congratulations!"

We all lifted him on the air. He laughed at us and look at me. He quickly mouthed a 'Thank you!' before laughing again.
