The three of us went back to school to meet the others. We didn't even send a text, so they might have been worried for us.

"MIKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!" We looked over to the origin a voice to see Shinju running towards us-I mean towards Miki.

I and Ayako moved at the side so that we will avoid being hit by her. She tackled Miki into a hug. We stared at her awkwardly.

"Where were you three?!" Shinju asked, standing up. "We're all worried!"

"We got into a little trouble..." Miki said, trailing off.

"Trouble? What kind of trouble?" Yuuto asked.

"We accidentally ate some cupcakes that were supposed to be someone else's." I explained.

"But we had fun!!" Ayako exclaimed.

"Eh?" Akane asked. "You had fun in trouble? Can you explain all? I don't understand."

We ended up explaining what happened. From the cupcakes, to the party, magic show, and face paint.

"And not only that, we also received absent slips!" Ayako exclaimed.

"EHHH?!" They all chorused.

"How lucky!" Shou exclaimed.

"This is your first time being lucky in trouble!" Kaito said.

"Mou, I am not that unlucky..." Ayako pouted.

We all laughed at her.

"Let's go now, it's almost 5." Masami reminded.

We quickly stood up and bid goodbye to each other.

"See you tomorrow!"

~The Next Day~

"RUN!!!" I and Yuki both exclaimed.

Earlier, I decided to do everything my own. I woke up at 4 in the morning and got out on 5. Luckily, the brothers aren't awake yet, and I asked Tomomi to tell the brothers that I went earlier than them.

"My Yumi had grown up!" I remember she exclaimed and hugged me. "You made Tomomi proud!"

On my way, I met up with Yuki and we ended up going to school together. We were happily chatting about things when we heard a bark and a growl (Nope, not EXO). We turned around to see a snarling dog, waiting for the right time to bite. (Who suffers this when going to school everytime? Me :'))

"In 3... 2... 1..."

"RUN!!!"

We ran, but the dog chased us. I will never EVER go to school all by myself again!!

I looked towards Yuki, and she has tears on the corner of her eyes. I looked at our back, and still, the dog chased us.

"Is it still following us?" Yuki asked.

"Yup..."

"Yumi-chan, let's climb the tree over there!" She pointed to a nearby tree.

We sprinted to the tree, and started to climb. Yuki got first, and then followed by me. We were hanging on a branch while the dog kept scratching on the trunk. We both sighed.

"I'm glad you thought of that Yuki." I panted. "I could have died from exhaustion."

"But first..." Yuki climbed on the branch and sat down on it. "Sit properly, your hands will get tired and you'll fall."

I followed Yuki's advice, and we sat in silence, except for the barks of the dog.

"So..." I started.

"So...?"

"What now?"

"We'll wait for it to go away."

We sat again in an awkward silence. That was, until Yuki spoke.

"You know, the girls have their own best friends." Yuki said. "And I kind of got jealous at them. Miki, Shinju, and Ayako are good friends. But Miki and Shinju are the closest. Akane and Masami always get along well, except for Akane's hotheadedness. While me, I'm just there..."

I listened at her little rant. She kept on going, but I didn't lose interest in listening at her. She seemed lonely...

"And the moment Miki-chan introduced you to our group, I thought about being best friends with you." She continued. "And when the time we talked at the park, I learned we have a lot in common, and making you a human shield against Shinju while she keeps talking about idols."

She chuckled while I glared at her. "Hey, that's very mean."

"But I was about to tell you about that." Yuki reasoned. "Anyways, can we become best friends? I can see a lot of things we have in common."

The answer's quite obvious.

"Sure! I want to be best friends with you!" I answered.

"Yay! Arigato Mi-chan!" She hugged.

"Mi-chan?" I asked.

"Yup! I'll call you Mi-chan, and you'll call me Ki-chan since we both have the same first syllable."

"Sure Ki-chan!" We giggled.

"Hey!" A voice from below said. "You're alright now! Get down."

We both looked under the branch to see a familiar blond girl waving at us. The dog's gone... We sighed and got down.

"Thank you for saving us!" Yuki thanked.

"No problem! I saw you two up a tree while I jogged. Next time, be careful." She warned.

We nodded and went to school. It's already 6:30 in the morning. We went over to the Sakura Tree and only saw a few of them. They were Shinju, Masami, Daichi, and Taiyou.

"Eh? Yumi, Yuki, you're both early today!" Taiyou said.

"We just wanted a little change, right Mi-chan?" Yuki looked at me.

"Yup Ki-chan! But I guess I should go back to my normal routine next time." I said with a sweat-drop.

"I agree..."

"Eh? Ki-chan and Mi-chan?" Shinju asked. "Ah! You finally have someone to be in with trouble, Yuki-chan, just like how I drag Miki in troubles sometimes."

We both sweat-drop at her suggestion.

"I-I mean the way you normally treat your best friend." She explained.

"Hm, that's boring." Shinju said while puffing her left cheek. "But it won't avoid the possibility that you can have some misadventures too."

"And we're trying to avoid that." I said and Yuki nodded.

"You can't avoid it forever~" Shinju said and put her scariest face.

"Eh? Yuki-chan, Yumi-chan? Why are you both early today?" We turned around to see Miki running towards us.

"It's because----"

"You idiot, you forgot about me/us." We got cut off by Yukio and the twins. The three held a scary aura.

"Uhhhhhh..." We backed away from them.

"Should we run away...?" I asked Yuki.

"I g-guess..."

"RUN!!!"

We both ran away from them as the three chased us. Shinju smiled.

"That's what best friends are for, ne Miki-chan?" Shinju said. Miki sweat-drop.

"I-I guess..." Miki said. "But shouldn't we help them?"

"Let them figure on their own on how to escape them."
