Rather than fighting, maybe while I'm on it, I'll get Hime and escape. I thought.

"Terrifying Twisters!" Winds started to rage all around me.

"Dark Shield!" Shouldn't have underestimated her...

The winds started to get vicious, and I'm getting much more annoyed by that. I started storing energy so that I can drive the winds away from me...

~Meanwhile~

"Water Cannon!"

Tsubasa tried casting on the sphere in hopes that it would break, but it ended up hitting the sphere while nothing happened. No cracks or the sphere melting. She did feel her energy diminishing though.

"Ugh..." She stopped when she felt dizzy.

"Tsubasa, stop..." Hime said on another sphere sadly. "This trap is absorbing our energy for Lily to use. Even if we do nothing, it still absorbs our powers, much more if you try attacking it."

"Maximum! Magical Fire Girl!"

They turned their attention to Elza who attempted to transform into her Maximum form. The roses started to circle around her------------

But it dissipated away. She looked astonished by the outcome.

"What the----?!"

"We can't really do anything about this..." Hime said. "Let's hope that Yuzu can handle the battle herself..."

I closed my eyes and felt the energy surged through me... It's getting powerful... As I opened my eyes, the energy I've stored was released, including the shield. But due to the power of it, the winds and Yuzu got knocked off.

I took this chance to run towards Hime who was still trapped in the sphere. Hime looked scared. I was about to reach the sphere when...

The sphere moved on its own! It went to my right. I looked around and saw Yuzu, her cheeks puffed and who looks like she was blowing the sphere away from me. I groaned and made a 'Dark Sphere' towards her direction. She instantly stopped what she's doing and tried stopping the sphere.

I took advantage of her distraction and moved towards Hime's sphere. She can't make her comeback since that sphere wasn't my normal ones----

I was stunned when I got thrown off. S-She diverted my sphere... I thought then smirked. Not bad.

"You know," I mused. "You aren't that bad. But you're getting on my nerves. I guess I'll start taking this seriously..."

I grinned at her maliciously. She tried to stand her ground, but her expression showed fear.

"We should help Yuzu!" Mahiru spoke to her teammates, but they only looked away from her. "Hime, Tsubasa, everyone!"

"We can't do much while being trapped here." Hime spoke up. "We'll be losing our energy."

Mahiru stopped and slumped on the sphere. They all became silent. They were like that for four minutes until Mahiru thought of an idea.

"But..." Mahiru started. "What if we don't rely on magic? What if we rely on something we have... like weapons?!"

They brightened up. Hime moved to take a look at Mahiru's sphere.

"Probably, but only yours and Elza could work." Hime explained. "Ours are too long or are used only for distance combat."

"Let's do this, Mahiru!" Elza exclaimed and Mahiru nodded.

"Freezing Daggers/Flame Whip!" They summoned their own weapons.

Elza first shortened her whip and tried lashing at the sphere. The whip started to penetrate the sphere—

But she failed. The whip's flame that had surrounded it started to die. Elza had no choice but to release her grip on the whip. Who knows? Maybe it'll try to absorb her powers too.

"I can't..."

"It's my turn!"

Mahiru gripped at her daggers firmly and pierced through the sphere. She waited for a few moments for a result...

And the daggers started to freeze a little part of the shield. Mahiru's eyes widened.

"I-I did it!"

She tried breaking the ice, but it didn't budge. A few moments later, the ice started to disappear, and the dark became complete once again.

"It takes time for the sphere to 'heal' itself." Hime concluded. "Maybe... Maybe we could break free in this sphere. Listen, Mahiru and Elza; you both are the key in this plan."

Hime explained to them her plan. They both grinned.

"Now, let's take Yuzu's attention."

Yuzu got a few scrapes from my attacks. She's panting too.

"Are you getting tired?" I mocked.

"Nope..." She said in between pants.

She started to calm herself. What is she planning...? She inhaled then exhaled and puffed her cheeks. Is she...?! She blew with all her might.

I jumped away from her, but surprisingly, she didn't stop her attack nor direct it towards me. It took time to let me understand what she's doing, yet I don't know the reason why.

I'm not yet taking Hime... So why is she blowing towards them? More specifically towards Mahiru's sphere----!

I noticed the sphere Mahiru's in. It's halfway iced! I panicked.

"Dark sphere!" I casted and she stopped blowing. She ran away.

Too late, Mahiru bumped onto Elza's sphere making it crack slightly. Elza seemed to apply a lot of heat inside her sphere, which caused the ice to quickly melt.

No, no, no, no, no, no! I ran towards them to try to patch up the sphere, but it's too late. She already broke free from the sphere. I gritted my teeth.

"Dark magic!" I casted as her back faced me.

She turned around, only to see the magic coming towards her. She froze. The attack's nearing her---

Only for a ribbon and... sweets(?) to wrap around her. I backed away, attempting to run away from her, but then, I turned around to also see Yuzu wrapped also in a candy-cane designed sphere with blue-green circles around her.

I'm dead...

They both pressed their phones and shouted, "Maximum! Magical Ice/Wind Girl!"]

They landed smoothly on the ground. My hand slightly shook.

"I'll free the others, Yuzu, defeat her!" Mahiru said.

"Hai hai~" She said and looked at me with a wide grin.

"Let's see if we're on the same level... Hm..." She thought.

"Dark Fury!" I wasted no time in attacking her.

"Eh?!" She shrieked. "Tornado Catastrophe!"

Our attacks clashed, yet it seemed totally equal. The two elements disappeared after some time.

"Windy Day!"

"Dark Shield!"

I shielded myself from the attack. My shield cracked after being exposed at it for some time. Strangely, she withdrew her power and stopped.

"Stop this all at once Lily!" I looked around and saw that I've been surrounded by them, and what scared me is that they all were in their Maximum Form except for Hime.

I growled and stopped. I looked at Hime straight in the eye.

"The next time we meet, I'll get you, Hime!"

I pressed a button on my phone and violet lights surrounded me before being teleported to another place.

And I'm not the type of person who breaks their promises...
