I groaned as I noticed what subject I and the brothers will have. P.E.: the most dreaded subject of the great Yumi. Mayu-sensei's our teacher in it, so I hope it only involves writing rather than running or jumping.

We started our usual morning greetings and sat down.

"For our P.E. today, we will do..." Mayu-sensei stopped for suspense. Well for me, nope. "We'll play dodge ball with the Clubs Section!"

The others cheered, some have no reaction, and others were groaning. At least I am not the only one who thinks this is annoying.

"But wait!" Someone exclaimed. "Isn't that the class of Taiyou?"

Murmurs filled the place. Let me guess, he's good in P.E., isn't it?

"There's a rumor that he defeated a football team all by himself!" Told ya. -_-

"But don't worry!" Someone cut off. "We have Shou, remember?"

I looked at Shou's direction, which seemed to have a different aura around him. Sure, he keeps the smile over his face, but his eyes meant another thing. Haruki backed away from him since he's his seatmate.

"Keep Shou away from me!" He shrieked and backed away much more.

I sweatdrop at his reaction. But I'm pretty sure Shou had something planned at his back.

"This is going to be fun~" Shou said while fiddling with his fingers.

Will this troublemaker help us win or is he planning on betraying us...?

~Timeskip~

We already changed into our gym uniform and are currently waiting for the whistle to be blown. The Clubs (in which they have Taiyou, Daichi, and Ayako) are scanning all over our team while we are doing the same thing.

In our side, the boys (and a few chosen girls) are at the front while the remaining girls (and some boys) are at the back. That includes me and Miki. The twins, Shou, and Haruki are at the front.

On the other side, Taiyou, Daichi, and Ayako are at the front. Ayako still got her smile, Daichi intimidating us with his stare... which seemed effective... And Taiyou who's eyes seemed to burn.

The whistle was then blown, which caused a piercing sound to be heard all over the gym. Instantly, there were balls flying everywhere! There were a few who got hit from both sides and was out the game. I waited for the right time to strike.

"This is for you!!!!!!" I looked at Miki who threw her ball at the opponent. She targeted a girl whose hair is in a ponytail.

The girl noticed the ball coming towards her direction so she jumped. Miki sulked as her throw missed. But I made a comeback and hit her while she's in mid-air. Her eyes widened as the ball headed towards her. She can't do anything about it since I aimed at her leg. She got out at the game.

"Sugoii~" Miki said in amazement.

"No use in sulking if your target missed." I advised. "This is dodgeball and everyone would try dodging it."

"Hai... But can we team up?!" She said excitedly.

"Sure—look out!" I tackled her as there was a ball zooming towards her. We both lay on the gym ground.

"Ugh..." I groaned and rubbed my head. "Don't get distracted and focus!"

I grabbed her hand and went to some 'safe' spot. We were now sitting down at the back of our teammates.

"Are you ready Miki-chan?" I asked her.

"Hai!"

We both stood up and got ready. We sprinted at the 'battlefield' and waited for a ball to come to Miki's direction.

"Miki!" I warned at her.

"E-Eh?!" She panicked.

"Miki, focus and catch it!" I cheered.

She seemed to relax and catch the ball with ease. A member of the opposing team got out and she picked to 'revive' a good player at our side. Nice one Miki!

"I think you should throw." Miki said and handed me the ball. "My aims are quite bad..."

I gladly took the ball and looked for someone who's quite distracted. Hmmm...

And that's when Ayako throw a ball and she's near the line. I quickly aimed at her and released the ball. The ball was fast approaching and she had no time to react. She got out.

"Wahhhh! Yumi-chan!!" She whined.

"So I guess I will shoot and you will defend?" I ignored a whining Ayako and spoke to Miki. "Sounds like a plan."

We separated a bit. Miki looked around for a ball and I looked around for someone to target. It's better to plan ahead, right?

And that got me distracted. I didn't not notice a ball hurling towards my direction. And when I noticed, it was too late. I stood frozen on the ground...

But then a hand pulled me away from the hurling ball and towards a... chest...?

"Yumi-chan! I'm glad I'm not too late!" I looked above to see Yuuto holding my hand and I was pressed up on his chest. I immediately got flustered. "Niisan would handle the guy who tried to hit you!"

"EH?!" My head shot up and saw Yuuma aiming at a guy. He shot and the attacker got hit.

He quickly ran to our direction and checked on me.

"Are you alright?!" He asked.

"Yep." I tried to wiggle out of Yuuto's grasp, but his grip on me was iron.

"Can you let go of me Yuuto-kun?"

"Hmm... Later!"

"Wha--?!"

He quickly let go of me and caught a ball that was hurling towards us. He 'revived' one of our teammate and the game went on.

"Gomen Yumi-chan!" Miki went towards my direction and bowed. "Someone targeted me and I have no choice but to dodge it! But at least the twins helped you~"

She smirked at me mischievously while my cheeks started to burn.

"B-Baka!" I exclaimed.

The game went on, until there were only a few of us left. Our opponents only have three members left, which includes Taiyou. Ayako and Daichi got out. In our team, only I, Yuuma, Yuuto, Haruki, and Shou were left.

"Go Yumi! Be the only girl survivor in the game and win this!" Miki cheered then the other girls followed.

I sweatdrop and looked around. Yup, I'm the only girl left...

I looked at Yuuma and Yuuto who partnered up. It isn't really surprising since they're twins and all. They would most likely agree with each other. I looked at Shou and Haruki, and surprisingly, they teamed up. Both had great teamwork too! And me... The person who don't have any partner...

I looked around and saw an opponent who isn't focusing on me. I quietly aimed at him and ran towards the front for power and threw a ball at him. Instantly, he got hit due to the speed of it and got out.

"Yumi! Watch out!" Haruki warned.

I only saw a glimpse of a fast round object hurling towards me and hit my stomach... really hard...

I fell at my knees and instantly hugged my stomach. Ouch... It hurts...

The whistle got blown and a loud piercing sound could be heard all around the gym. Someone knelt down on my level and checked on me.

"Are you alright Yumi?!" It's Taiyou's voice... "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean on hitting you hard!"

By now, everyone crowded on me making me dizzy. Mayu-sensei shooed the students who were crowding us and checked on me too.

"Are you alright Kanzaki-san?" Mayu-sensei asked me worriedly.

"I-I'm alright..." I tried standing up but ended up hissing with pain and fell. Luckily, Taiyou caught me when I fell.

"You aren't okay!" Taiyou exclaimed. I shook my head.

"No... I'm perfectly fine!"

Taiyou pressed a finger on the area where I got hit. I ended up crying in pain and glared at him.

"Taiyou, please bring Yumi to the clinic." Their teacher said.

Taiyou nodded and carried me bridal style. I immediately reddened.

"Taiyou, put me down! I can manage myself!"

"You can't even stand up, much less walk! Stop struggling!"

I shut my mouth as Taiyou angrily snapped at me. He then became quiet and carried me outside the gym. I looked at the twins and they were only emotionless.

We were quiet the entire time. And it was quite awkward. I need to break the ice somehow...

"Um—"

"Sorry..." We said the same time. But Taiyou continued. "I-I didn't mean to hurt you..."

"It's alright... I forgive you." I said with a smile. "You didn't mean it."

He stared through my eyes with a gentle smile. My cheeks started to flare up at his smile. We kind of look like a couple...

We entered the clinic and we were welcomed by an energetic nurse.

"Hello—Eh?! What happened to your girlfriend?!" She asked.

My cheeks reddened more.

"A-Ah! You've got it all wrong!" Taiyou answered while being flustered. "We were playing dodgeball and I accidentally threw the ball a little too hard..."

"Oh! I thought she was your girlfriend! You both seemed cute together!" Stop with the teasing >.<! "Wait here, I'll get some ice."

The nurse took some minutes before coming back to us with the ice. She put it on a cloth and handed the cloth to me.

"Apply it on where you got hit. And I guess you might skip classes dear..." She inquired.

"Yumi!" I was startled when I saw Yuuma, Yuuto, Shou, and Daichi enter the room.

"Are you alright?!" Yuuto and Shou immediately checked on me.

"Stop crowding her." Yuuma stopped.

"You might hurt her unknowingly." Daichi added.

They all stopped and find a chair to sit. Not long, they all got seated and chatted with each other. Well, much more Yuuto, Shou, and Taiyou were the only one talking and Daichi and Yuuma were only being silent. Minutes later, the bell rang and they all groaned.

"I will watch over her!" They all said in the same time. I sweatdrop.

"You're not allowed to skip classes! Shoo!" Our nurse shooed them and closed the door.

"Thank you for shooing them..." I gratefully said.

"Nah, it's nothing." She winked. "And you've got a huge harem over you! How lucky!"

"They aren't my harem!" I flushed. "They're just... friends.."

"Sure, sure..." She nodded. "Anyways, just rest. It'll take time until you got better."

I sighed and lay down. I think... I unintentionally created my own harem filled with idiots... -_-

This got inspired by a real life happening by our senpais. We were watching at them (since we were supposed to play badminton but they got first in the quadrangle) play dodgeball. They were having a good time until a girl senpai got hit and she fell. Her stomach hurt (since it got hit) and the game got stopped). I felt sad at the hurt senpai who cried...

Anyways, quite a long chapter, isn't it? The ending's quite rushed since I wrote this in midnight... Gomenesai! *bows*
