When I came to, I was strapped to a chair.

Everyone was strapped to chairs.

Clarisse opened her eyes and stared at me.

"Oh God, where are we?" asked Clarisse.

I looked around.

There were pictures of Lia all over.

I groan.

"This must be Lia's room." groaned Sam.

"Yeah no shit." said Mike.

"Her face is creeping me out. It's like seeing Satan all over again." said Paul.

Aliya scoffed.

"I would have you know that Mr. Morningstar is far delightful to gaze upon."

"Really Aliya? You're dating a little demon and you're after the devil?" asked Clarisse in amusement.

"Right here you know, not going anywhere." said Mike.

"You people realize that we're all gonna die soon right?" I asked.

"Meh, does it matter?" asked Aaron.

Everyone shook their heads. Aaron smiled.

"Well let the nonsense continue. Last words before the crazy bitch's dad kill us all?" asked Paul.

"I'll start," said Mike, clearing his throat, "Paul you're an ass, but you're as much as a brother to me as Aiden is. Aiden, you're my bro forever, even in the afterlife, we'll give Satan a run for his money. Sam, never thought you'd be a gangsta but hey what do I know? Aaron, you're the most sensible idiot I ever met. Clara, thank you for being a part of Aiden's life, Lord knows he needed to love once more. Aliya, since I met you, you've changed my life for the better. I can die knowing that I died in love with one woman."

Wow.

We all stared at Mike.

Sam cleared his throat.

"Paul, you're the only smart ass I could ever stand being around. Aiden, I didn't like you because I didn't think you deserved Clara, but now, she was made for you and you for her. Mike, you're an ass, but never did I ever think that you'd fall in love. At least you get to die with the love of your life. Aaron, you're my role model in all honesty. Clara, I'm glad you regained your memory, I missed you. Aliya, thank you for entering Mike's life."

This is too emotional for me.

Paul coughed.

"Mike, you're a jackass, but I'm glad you've changed your whoring ways. Aiden, you're one of the best friends I ever had and that'll never change, not even in my next life. Sam, I didn't like you at first, but you're a good father and I'll regret the fact that I won't live to see my child."

Some tears leave his eyes and Clarisse and Aliya gasp.

"I'm okay. Aaron, you're a damned good brother. Clara, I'm glad my Ravenclaw friend is back. Aliya, thank you for making your bomb ass entry into Mike's dull and miserable life."

Paul hung his head low, crying.

I felt it for him.

His only fault was being with us when Lia died.

Aliya shook her head, laughing sadly.

"Paul, you're so smart, it was an honor to be around a fellow intellect. Aiden, I'm glad you ended up with Clara instead of James. Aaron, you're a good brother, to Clara and to me, despite the crap my brother did to you. Sam, you're so lucky to have become a father and living your life at the same time. Clara, you're the sister I now have and it will remain that way. And Mike, oh my dear Michelle, I love you beyond comprehension. I'm glad you took me out of my house."

Mike smiled.

We all did.

God knows if we'd ever have a moment like this again.

Aaron spoke.

"Paul, sometimes you annoy me, but you cool bro. Same to you Mike. Sam, you act indifferent, but I know it was circumstances that made you that way. Aiden, honestly, when I first met you, I wanted to shoot you."

I laughed.

"I'm glad you didn't."

He smiled.

"Me too, because you filled my sister's years with laughter and love. Aliya, it was an honor to be your big brother, even if it was for a short period of time. Clara, I love you, my dear sister."

Clarisse cried and my heart sank.

Then she spoke.

"Paul, I'm glad I'm back, I missed you a lot. Mike, you're an asswipe, but you aite by me. Sam, I'm glad we met, even if it was in the wrong circumstances. Aliya, I'm glad we met and I got to be someone's older sister, even if it was for a short time. Aaron, my brother, I love you too. Aiden, my darling, my love, my only regret is that there is no remain of our love."

I smiled sadly.

"Our souls, mi amor." I whispered.

Now I spoke, my voice catching with each word.

I can't believe that this was how I was gonna say goodbye.

I thought I would've died a granddad.

"Paul and Mike, you guys were and will always be my partners in crime. Sam, I never liked you either, but I'm glad we had a friendship nevertheless. Aaron, you're a good brother, father and husband. Aliya, I'm glad you got your freedom, though I'm sorry that it came at the price of your brother's surrendering."

Aliya sobbed.

"Clarisse." I cried.

She looked at me and gosh my heart started beating faster.

"Aiden." she said.

"Thank you for giving me shelter in your heart. Thank you for residing in my heart and soul. I shall always love you, in memory and even amnesia."

She laughed.

"I will love you forever Aiden Martin."

"Forever doesn't do justice to the length of my love Clarisse Angela Thronen."

We all smiled sadly.

So this is how it felt to have to utter one's last words.
