6.
Clara.
That night, I was greeted with more surprises.
No hotel room was booked.
I'd have to stay in Mr. Martin's house.
I'll have to talk to those three about this.
Suddenly, the car came to a halt and the driver turned around to face me.
"Welcome doctor." he said.
I give him a small smile and open the car door myself.
I get out and walk towards the entrance.
Of course, it's a mansion.
Count on rich people to flaunt their wealth.
Shaking my head, I walked to the door and knocked.
The door opened to reveal Mrs. Martin.
She scowled as soon as she saw me.
"Good night Mrs. Martin."
She rolled her eyes and adjusted her robe.
I laughed sarcastically.
"Look, I'm not that interested in seeing your miserable face either. I was told that I'd have to stay here so if you'd move out of the way before I shove you out of the way, that would be really nice."
She stormed inside.
I rolled my eyes and walked inside.
I don't know why I dislike that woman, she just gives me a bad vibe.
I never met the woman and she's already pissing me off.

That night I dined with the Martins.
Yeah the same cliche fancy dinner.
Dress up for no reason?
I think not.
It really wasn't a surprise when I walked downstairs in a Scooby Doo T-shirt with grey shorts and saw everyone in their Sunday best.
I rolled my eyes.
"Good night." I say, walking to the table and sitting next to Rosa.
Rosa looked like the only person who wouldn't perve on me or piss me off to the point of strangling.
"Good night." whispered Rosa.
She looked really pretty in her light blue dress.
"You look nice." I said.
She smiled.
"You look, um, great!"
I laughed.
I looked at Mr. and Mrs. Martin and they looked rather annoyed.
Well, only Mrs. Martin looked annoyed.
Mr. Martin looked like if I took my T-shirt off, he'd die of a heart attack.
It was gross.
The servants came with the food.
I helped myself to everything, took a bite and then made a face.
"I don't think I'm hungry for what you guys are eating."
I get up and was about to walk away when I heard Mrs. Martin whispering to her husband.
"Bet she wouldn't have minded if there was some chicken there."
Excuse me?
I turned around.
"You mind saying that to my face?" I asked.
She glared at me.
"You are so unmannerly. Didn't your parents teach your ghetto self some manners?"
I smiled.
She really wanna go down that yellow brick road with me?
Because if she does, it'll turn red.
"As a matter of fact, yes they did. They taught me to respect my elders and stray away from the stereotype. However, my mother died and I learned one thing before I became a therapist: beat a racist hoe and ask questions later. I could start with you and your rainbow vomit dress." I said, walking towards her.
"You wouldn't dare." she said, getting up.
I laugh.
"Oh you know I would, that's why you got up. No worries, I'm not gonna do anything to you, you ain't worth it."
I turned to Rosa.
"Do you know any good pizza places?" I asked.
She nodded and gave me the number.
"Thank you."
With that I walked away, knowing that I just upset an entire dinner and only one person was made happy.
Rosa.
Maybe it's good that I'm here.
*************************
"You did what?" shrieked Mel.
I was upstairs in my room, eating pizza and drinking soda right out of the bottle.
I decided to call Mel on imo and tell her about my day.
Why bother the servants for a cup?
"She's the one who started with the racist shit." I said, munching on a pizza.
She laughed.
"So who's the client?"
I smiled as I remember the handsome green eyed guy that was in the hospital.
"Aiden Martin."
There was a long pause.
"Did you just say Aiden?" she asked.
"I didn't stutter."
There was a long and heavy sigh.
"Fine, you do you. But don't start problems with those people. As soon as you're done, come back home."
I laugh.
"Yes ma'am."
"Love you hun."
"Love you back."
The call ended and I sighed.
Now there were more questions in my mind.
Why did Mel take so long to speak to me?
How did Aiden know my name?
Why does his father look so familiar?
Then I saw Aiden lying in the hospital bed.
Next thing I know, everything went dark and I got another flash.
I was at a house with three other people.
Using a key, I opened the door.
*************************
When I opened the door I gasped.
The house was a mess.
I was calling for a name.
No answer.
I got this sinking feeling in my stomach.
My eyes lingered at the kitchen.
I headed towards the kitchen.
It was empty.
I saw a red liquid on the floor.
Blood.
I knew it was blood, it had a metallic smell.
I walked in the direction of the blood.
I came across a man sprawled on the floor. I gasped and dropped to the floor.
I couldn't see who he was.
His hand was still clutching the knife.
His eyes were staring at the ceiling. I cried.
***********************
I screamed before falling unconscious.
Aiden.
I kept getting a bad feeling early this morning.
Something was off and I knew it.
Apparently, Clarisse was to stay at the house.
I groaned, knowing that somebody would trigger her.
If not my father, it would be Linda or her son.
Her perverted son.
What if it negatively affected her?
I jumped out of bed.
"Sir, you can't leave." said the nurse.
I ignored her.
"I need to go."
Just as I walked inside, the doctor rushed in with a patient.
Linda, Melvin, Rosa and my father was there.
I looked on the bed.
Clarisse.
I told them this was a bad idea.
I held her hand, but the doctor pushed me back.
"Mr. Martin, you need to rest."
"Forget me, let me be near her." I said.
The ward boys backed off and I held her hand again.
They were so cold.
She opened her eyes and I let go of her hand.
Then I heard her whisper.
"A man... I saw a man holding a knife." she said.
I gasped, knowing exactly who she saw.
Everyone else kept looking at her like she was insane.
If only they knew what she saw happened already.
"His wrist, he slit his wrist." she cried.
I groaned, knowing that she got a flashback of that day.
The last day I'd have her near me.
"Why did I see that? Who was he?" she asked.
Me.
