This story takes place in the summer before the start of Harry's sixth year.

Curiosity filled the atmosphere surrounding The Burrow.

It was a fine Saturday, bright and breezy, yet boring. Ginny Weasley, the youngest inhabiting excluding all the animals lazed around her house in a crop top and a pair of jeans shorts which her father had took fancy to whilst going on a walk in the Muggle world. 'Ooh, that looks absurdly amazing! My daughter will love it!' he had exclaimed before leaving his wife hurriedly before she could stop him, to buy the piece of clothing. It was her father's affection which made her fancy the set.

The very Muggle loving man and his wife had now gone over to pay Bill a visit. They had forcefully dragged a reluctant Ron along as well.

Lazing around the house was surely not a Ginny Weasley thing to do; she loved and lived for being athletic and energetic. So when her elder brothers, Fred and George brought down a huge trunk with fancy looking items, she became curious.

"What's that?" she asked, trying to take a glance at what the items may be. The twin with a huge 'G' on his shirt turned around and clicked his tongue at her. Ginny knew, for a fact, that it was Fred who was pretending to be George.

"Tsk, tsk! This, is a wonderful test product little sis!" Fred exclaimed, dramatically rolling his eyes.

"And who will be the test subject?" she asked, mischief laced in her voice.

"We need the bloke who has dark bags under his eyes and is always, I mean it, literally always brooding over Merlin knows what!" George answered, rubbing his hands together. Ginny copied the action enthusiastically before sobering up.

"Hold on. Will it harm him?"

"He's the Boy-Who-Lived!" Fred exclaimed.

"The Chosen One!" George followed.

"The-One-Who-Conquered-The-Dark-Lord-At-The-Age-Of-One-Year-And-Three-Months!" they chorused together.

"But he's a human too!" Ginny shouted, looking exasperated. The twins exchanged glances before scratching the back of their necks in sync.

"He won't be a test subject, he'll be a helper! That's what he will be! After all, we cannot harm our sponsor!" Fred said and George agreed with a nod. Ginny nodded back before the mischievous look was back on her face.

"I solemnly swear I am up to no good."

"No!"

"Please?"

"No way, Fred! Or George!"

"But why not?"

"Because I DON'T want to!"

Ginny sighed. This had been going on in the kitchen for the past ten minutes.

"No means NO!"

Making up her mind, she walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Harry was sitting on one of the dinner chairs, a glass of milk in front of him. After losing Sirius, he had, for some bizarre reason, taking to drinking excess of milk, which lead to a growth spurt; yet he looked as dashing as ever.

"Harry. . ." she said with a drag at the 'rry'. He gulped before turning to look at her. He was flushed, or that was what Ginny thought she saw. "Do you mind doing me a favour?"

"W – what –" he stuttered before clearing his throat and speaking again, "What?"

"Will you?"

"Depends."

"Well, my dear ol' brothers are going to put up a show for us and for doing so, they need your help!" Ginny explained. "So will you do it?" She added the best puppy dog eyes she could muster for him to agree.

"I – err – erm –"

"I'll take that as a yes," she said, casually walking over to the counter and placing her elbow on Fred's shoulder. The twins high fived each other and Harry sighed.

"We have no idea how you did that, sis!" George snickered.

"Her eyes," Harry mumbled. Ginny looked at him innocently and he choked on his glass of milk. "Don't you dare!"

Grinning, she patted his head before pulling him out of the kitchen and into the living room, the twins followed them with the trunk. Once settled down on a comfy couch, they took out a star shaped dollar pendant.

"We are honoured to present –"

"Yet another sagacious invention from our inventory!"

"The Grand Manipulating Controller of Life and Wildlife Alike!"

"A what?" Harry asked.

"It's the twins' invention, Harry. Of course the naming will be bad," Ginny replied, waving her hand around in a bored manner. The two brothers stuck their tongue at her before continuing.

"If you want to know how this works, follow us!"

They walked out of the house and down the street until they reached a small pet shop. Ginny squealed and started petting a cat which was on the display outside. It was caged and unhappy but started purring contentedly due to the display of affection. Harry watched the scene with amusement as the twins fiddled around with the trunk before pulling out a pet collar with the star dollar on it. Fred tied it around the cat's neck and it looked down at its new clothing with curiosity.

"Now George! Do the honours!" he said, passing a control to his twin who took it gladly and mock bowed. George pushed a lever and the cat froze. He closed his eyes and the cat started dancing weirdly, shaking its paws and tails madly as if on fire. It purred rather loudly and the owner of the shop, a Muggle, rushed out screaming, which led the teenagers to scamper away.

Once in the safety of the shadows of a nearby alley, Fred summoned the collar and proffered it to his other twin who took it with a grin.

"You see this invention can manipulate an animal –" Fred explained and let his twin continue.

"Or even a human!"

"And make them do whatever we the control bearers think of!"

"I thought of the cat Dumba dancing that's why it did that!"

"I think you mean Zu–" Harry tried interrupting but was cut short himself by Fred.

"Shush! Let us explain!" Harry nodded. "So, we want to prank Ron when he gets home!"

"Are you both in?"

Ginny grinned. "I'm in! You are too, right Harry? After all, you have a legacy to continue!" Harry smirked and nodded.

"I solemnly swear I am up to no good."

The lights were turned off the instant the distinctive pop of Apparition resounded in her ears. Ginny and Harry were currently on sitting crouched on the staircase leading to the upper levels of The Burrow, the latter clenching the control tightly in his hand. The Twins were somewhere in the kitchen.

The door creaked open and the sound of her mother's warm chattering was heard before the room felt silent abruptly. "What's happened here? The lights are off. . . ?" Her voice shook and Ginny felt guilty for making her worry during such war times.

To end the uneasiness, she turned and looked up at Harry. He looked down at her, his question shining in his eyes. She gave him a nod as the answer and he pressed the power button.

A loud rumble was heard before the doors of the sitting room swung open. The lights came back on and Ginny's mother gasped.

"What the –?" The astounded voice of her father came next and she tried her best to suppress a giggle. Peeping over the banister, she took a glimpse of a furry brown dog. Its fur came down to its eyes, almost partially covering its vision. The collar holding a lone mischievous star hung from its neck. The band seemed to barely be holding on; the dog was too huge. She turned around to motion Harry to go for the next phase but when their eyes met, they looked away forcefully in order to not burst out laughing.

Calming himself down, Harry closed his eyes; a smile was still tugging at his lips. Ginny looked over the banister again and saw the dog walking towards her parents. That was when she noticed the absence of her brother, the main to-be victim. Before she could alert Harry, though, the dog started jogging around her parents on two limbs. Ginny could not suppress the giggle that came out of her throat at her mother's shocked face and her father's rather amused features.

"Ginny!" Harry hissed, trying to tell her to keep their stealth.

"Harry? Ginny? Mate, what's happened to you both?" A foreign voice startled the duo. Harry jumped and fell on the witch in front of him; the control flew out of his hands. They tumbled down the staircase and fell on the rug in a tangled mess causing Ginny's mother to gasp audibly before rushing to them.

Before she could help them to their feet, the dog pounced on Harry. He yelped and started running around the room. The Twins rushed out of the Kitchen, a plate of chicken wings in their hands.

"Ow! Watch it, Harry Potter!" Ginny groaned as Harry stepped on the control in his frenzy. Unfortunately, the control broke completely causing the dog to go crazy. In its madness the dog clashed against several wares kept on the mantle and overturned the sofas and table. George rushed to the broken control, trying desperately to fix it whilst Fred ran behind Harry and the dog to break the collar. Ginny looked up to the staircase to see who threw the water on the growing flames.

It was Ron.

The one they tried to prank had messed it all up and turned it back to them.

Oh yeah, that served them right.

"Ginny!" her mother shouted and she winced. Oh boy was she in trouble.

Sighing, she addressed the running Harry, the panicking Fred and the brooding George. "You know what, guys? I solemnly swear I am in trouble."
