Helios Station

I put Winnaya to sleep because she needed it. After everything that happened to her yesterday, she didn't really get much rest. I know her, and she doesn't get much at all. Mr. Dickhead gives her so much work that she looks dead when she comes to work as his PA. I feel bad for her...I really do.

I heard my comm go off and the build shake a little. "I'm sorry, people of Elpis. This is the only way." Zarpedon fired the laser onto the surface of Elpis.

"Whoa! How did they know about... yeah, uh, I'll get back to ya" I said and checked the systems then I ECHO'd one of the Vault Hunters, "Yeah, so uh, not good! Zarpedon's troops have taken control of the Eye of Helios! It's a big frickin' laser in the heart of the space station. She's targeting the moon's core. Try not to panic but, uh, she's trying to blow up Elpis."

I cut off my side of the communication call, but listened to the other side. I didn't want to know that I was contacting them or they would take me away from her. I looked back Winnaya and I know she couldn't bear to wake up and see me gone.

The building shook again and I contacted Zarpedon. "Zarpedon! Cut it the hell out! You got a problem with Hyperion, that's one thing, but there are innocent people on Elpis, you asshole!"

She replied with a simple "Yes. There are." This chick is pissing me off.

I contacted the Vault Hunter they called Athena. "Okay, this chick's a nutbag. You gotta hurry – we gotta get to Helios and take back control of the Eye. But we can't do that until you find out where in Crisis Scar that signal originates and shut 'er down!"

I watched the console. I could see what Athena saw and she looked, seeing the laser strike again. "Zarpedon, stop pounding the moon with a giant freakin' laser! Are you totally, TOTALLY insane?"

Athena went to the console in front of them and she activated it. "Awesome! Destroy each of the relays – that'll shut down the friggin' signal!"

I watched as the Vault Hunters went to destroy the relays on each side of the dish. Boy, let's just hope this works. I continue to watch the live view of the tower. Then, I heard the best news ever.

"The signal's off!" She yelled. I checked the systems and I cheered.

I danced around and cheered more. "BOOYA! We got lights up in Helios! We got security, we got fast travel..." Then, another voice came onto the line.

"Red? Belly? What the flamin' heck's going on over there?! The override signal just went down!" A familiar voice sounded.

"Who the hell is that?" I asked. I felt a presence next to me and I saw her.

"Jack, that's sounds like the Meriff" she said.

The Lawbringer, Nisha, snorted. "Sounds like that Meriff asshole." She was right, that's the Meriff. But I need to run a voice scan. I tracked down the location of the speaker and it was, in matter of fact, the Meriff.

"Wait a minute, you aren't Red OR Belly... Aww, flip!" He said, and ended his communication line. Now I'm just pissed off.

"The meriff's been working for Zarpedon the entire time! Grrahaaarrr! I'll meet you in Concordia. We need to have a talk with this guy." I said, my hands tightly gripping the surface of the console. I am trying to keep my cool and it's about to fail.

Aurelia Hammerlock spoke up. "Implied violence! Now my dear, you are speaking my language." Winnaya giggles at her comment. I love her laugh, it's so cute.

I got an idea and sent some cash to the guards of security to the gate of Concordia through Triton Flats. "I paid the guards a stack of cash, so just walk on through security. Then come meet me when I fast travel down."

I looked at Winnaya. "Grab some stuff, we are going to Concordia." I walked towards the kitchen and grabbed some food, bottles of water, and then tracked off to get anything else necessary for the trip.

I grabbed my bag, grabbed her hand, and walked to the nearest fast travel station. I looked at her. "You ready?"

She nodded. "I'm ready."

I typed into Concordia and then we disintegrated, and we were on our way to Concordia. It was 12:45 when we left.
