Right's POV

Why can't we just have a normal morning for once?

A normal morning means waking up after a good night's sleep, a hungry stomach, and having to actually finish breakfast!

But no - apparently if you're a Toqger, it doesn't exactly work like that!

This morning, I was about to chow down the first bite of the breakfast bento box Wagon had prepared, I could already feel myself drooling- she was just about to settle my bento box on the table in front of me, and just as I picked up my chopsticks, the lights of the Ressha we were in had flickered off, and then the rest of the Resshas had lost power, and they were all forced to make a rough brake. Everyone went flying!- Including my bento box! Out the window! I can't believe it! What was so important today that it just had to ruin breakfast this morning!?

"MUUUAAAAH!! My bento box!" I stood up and slammed the table with my hands,

"What's going on?" Mio had asked, getting a proper hold of one of the seats, standing herself up. Just then, Conductor had walked in wearing a panicked face,

"Minna! Get to your Ressha stations!" He orders as he walks across the room,

"What about Breakfast!?" I asked, but all I got in return was a nagging Ticket in my face,

"Shut it you lug-head! Why are you always thinking with your stomach!?" Ticket scolded me. I rolled my eyes, so says the puppet with no brain or stomach- I think.
I attempt to pull Ticket off of Conductor's hand, but he dodges and spins around me, causing me to nearly trip, dammit.

"Minna! We need to detach the Resshas so each will have their individual power! That way their fuel power will last a bit longer! Once each Ressha has departed, we can all re-connect at the next station- We need to hurry!" Conductor says in a steady voice, but I could over all tell he was worried,

"Are we really going outside though?.. It looks like there's a storm!" Tokatii says, glancing through the window. I took a look for myself, and the clouds outside looked dark, carrying loads a rain water, was this why Ressha's power cut short?

"Minna.. You should see this, I don't think it's just a storm.." Mio was standing on the opposite side of the Ressha we were all in, and pointed at the window she was looking through. Outside, the clouds there were not like any regular storm clouds- these ones were glowing purple, with lighting blasting around them.

"We can't go through that! What if- WUAAAH!-" Tokatii had tipped off his glasses from his face after a large strike of thunder echoed the sky. Mio carefully picked them up and placed them back on his face.

Kagura gasped and pointed frantically at her window- there in the center of the dark clouds, was the beginning of a purple swirl- quickly making it's way to pierce the sky. Once it did, there was a loud boom, much louder than thunder, nearly shattering the Ressha's windows. Then, a purple light exploded across the sky. I ducked down, along with the others, avoiding it the blinding light, and when the sudden blast had settled down, I raised my head enough to see the result of this storm- it was a large, growing, purple portal, but to be more exact, it was a-

"T-T-TIME PARADE!" Kagura shouted- Time Parade? That's not it, it's a-

"TIME PARADOX!" Hikari had corrected, yeah, that's sounds about right.

Hikari scooted across the table seat to where Kagura was, and got a better look at the storm,
"It's getting larger!" Hikari turns to face the Conductor who nods,
"If I'm correct, the storm will cause the Resshas to loose more power, we need to depart now!!" The Conductor motioned us to follow orders and proceed to our Resshas. Hikari, having Kagura, who was still a bit shaken, by his side helping her to her Ressha, as did Mio, who guided a panicked Tokatti to his. I began running to my own Ressha, which was way on the other side. Once I've reached my Ressha, I hopped onto my seat. I flicked the three switches on which activated the steam engine, and then I had pulled one of the levers down, which latched my Ressha off from the others, and had made my way to the next station, which was where the Paradox formed above-

Some morning this was.

One by one, me, with the others, aligned the Resshas in order across the main railway of this town's train station- Dōzan no mura. We soon attached the Resshas together again, and I met up with the others outside. The wind was really strong, and I had to shield my eyes from light coming from the Paradox.

"Minna! At their current state, the Resshas won't be able to function properly, so in the mean time, get the townspeople to safety and away from this storm! It may not be a Shadow Line attack, but we must do our part!" The Conductor ordered from inside the Ressha.
"Iyaaa~ Be careful everyone!" Wagon waved at us, but the strong wind had closed the window shut, so I couldn't make out what Conductor had said after,

"Nevermind! Let's move!" Hikari directed us over to the gates that leaded to Dōzan no mura. We need to inform Akira about where we are,

"Tokatii! Call Akira to meet us here!" I called over to Tokatti, he nodded and had quickly dialled on his Toq-Pass. Seconds later, Akira reported back that he was on his way.

Running as fast as we could, we ran over to where the Paradox was forming, right above the town square. The townspeople were scattered all over the place, there was a little boy, wandering around crying- he kept calling for his mother. Nearby, there was a car making its way down the street, but it seemed to have no control of its steering- but not only that, it was heading straight towards the boy- Oh no. I had ran over to him quickly and made a jump for him, grabbing him, and the. tucking him under me as we rolled down the other side of the road. I stood him up after and checked if he was bruised, poor kid.

"Are you okay?" I ask him, he nods and wipes away his tears,

"Takeuchi?!" A feminine voice came from behind, the boy leaped out from my arms and ran towards the woman- it was probably his mom. I smiled, but it quickly faded away as another strike of thunder hit the sky,

"You must get to safety! Hurry!" I run them to an underground hiding where most of the civilians currently were, and went in search of the others. I finally meet them back at the I Town square,

"I think we've got everybody," Mio says, looking around still, just to make sure. Akira was finally here as well, he had a small kitten in his arms and handed it to a little girl who soon went it to hiding- of course it was kitten.

Suddenly, the winds became a bit stronger, and a slight colder- and everything around us, began to darken..
There was a quick chill up my spine, and my heart began to race- I could already sense that whatever was coming, is not good. I look around, only seeing my friends, but nothing out of place, (you know, besides the broken windows and partially destroyed walls of buildings and houses). I suddenly stopped turning my head, I felt myself frozen on the spot, right as soon as I'm face to face with a tall, hooded figure in the distance. He was mostly broad on his upper parts, looking rough around the edges, but became slender further down. The black-hooded figure slowly raised his head, revealing glowing, yellow eyes.
"Who is that?.." Kagura whispered, she was cowering behind Hikari.

Who was that? More like what is that.

The figure raised one of his hands above his head, from a distance, it looked like a bird's sharp talons.

My head began to ache. I felt a bit dizzy for some reason, Akira and the others looked a bit pale as well!- I lower my head and squeezed my eyes shut, trying to bare the pain- What's going on? I try my best to imagine something good..

Imagine something good...

I..

I can't see it...

I really feel like I'm loosing it now.

The hooded figure lowered his arm and directed his hand towards us, and out from his palm glowed a gleaming yellow light- even brighter than it's eyes. The yellow beam soon launched it's way towards us, but for some reason, I couldn't force myself to move out of the way, I was glued onto the ground just as much as the others were. By the second, the beam got closer, and the light from it felt hot- Without us henshined, the hit from this blast is gonna suck.

I motioned my arm over my head and ducked down a bit as in reflex to shield myself, like that was going to do anything- and just as I thought I was going to get blown back from the blast, or even worse, I didn't get hit- I was still standing, not even scratched or bruised- Wait, did I even get hit by the attack? Oh no. Am I dead? My stomach grumbled, still empty since this morning- no, I'm still alive.
I quickly take a look to my sides to see if the others were alright- Tokatii was crouched down beside Mio, who had her head tucked beneath her arms, Hikari had wrapped his arms around Kagura in attempt to shield her, while she buried her face in his chest, Akira had also raised his arms over his head and had taken a step back as in reflex to the blast- all of us were still standing. I glance up to see what had shielded us from the sudden beam, and I had to blink a couple of times to make sure I was seeing right-
Who or whatever had saved us- were six figures standing in front of us- each having a perspective colour, they were aligned in the order yellow, blue, red, orange, green, and pink. They were glowing so brightly, it was hard to make out what their overall form was- I tried to take a better look, but I had to cover my eyes from the light they gave off- but once I did got a proper look, I had to do another double take...

The shining figures standing in front of us..

They were-

They were Toqgers...

Though- much shinier than us..

Hold on a minute-

I look to my sides briefly, Akira and everyone were all by my sides, and they all wore a shocked face as well-

We are the Toqger-

Right?!

And if we are, then-

Who are they?

Aha- Look who forgot to update😅

I've seriously been meaning to write a chapter for this fanfic for so long but had completely forgot about it! It is my first fanfic and from the looks of it- it's probably going to take a long time to finish- so stay with me and hang tight- cause it really means a lot if you do😇
I'll be writing each chapter as in each perspective of each character- even the ones I've created *cough, cough spoiler no spoiler* 😉 Next in perspective will be Akira's-
