PETER PARKER (𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄)
TITLE — Power Of Voice (can definitely be changed)
SUBTITLE (could be considered an epigraph) — "The quiet ones are the people who hear everything that is being said. That can be a curse or a blessing in disguise." (Quote from Venice)
MAIN CHARACTER — Venice 'Berry' Raine played by Raffey Cassidy
LOVE INTEREST — Peter Parker played by Tom Holland
TV/FILM — Spider-Man Homecoming—Far From Home
DESCRIPTION (this is just a bare bone description as I never really got far with this plot, so I apologise for how shitty it is) — Venice Raine had an extraordinary power; a power that people looked up to in times of need when the world seemed bleak and secretive. A power that doesn't make you a crime fighting super or a genius, nor does it take one person to be one. She had the power of words; the power to say it how it is and inform her peers about the real truth, not even thinking of the consequences behind her actions.
With her good investigative skills, and persuasive personality, Venice was someone who would not stop until she got the scoop of what is going on, and would be able to weasel her way through the toughest of people's personalities to get the nitty gritty details. But what happens when she sets her eyes on the newest phenomenon Spider-Man.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION — Here we are with another plot that I originally wanted to write but never did (story of my life that is). This is a plot that I have had in my drafts since 2017 but never really got round to begin writing due to my lack of inspiration, a problem that always happens when I start plots the moment they come into my mind. It was only recently when I was sifting through my drafts when I found this plot again and thought: this has an okay premise, I might as well let someone else write it who can do better with this plot then I ever could, so here we are again.
I love Raffey so much as an actress and I feel like she is so under appreciated in the industry; I had only discovered her recently when I was thinking of actresses who would be good to use and began sifting through the internet to find said actress, and I immediately fell in love with her. I feel like she would be so perfect for Venice as she has that kind of demeanour about her that fits the down to earth character that she is. She is also someone who I feel would fit perfectly with how angsty I imagined this plot to be as Venus is someone who is inquisitive and has a want to uncover the truth, but struggles gaining an intimate connection with people (ergo the angst between her and Peter would be real and an important part of the story).
Now onto what I originally had in mind for this plot. I imagined this book to be very orientated on Venice and her role in society as I feel like you can really show the struggles and the problems present in our society through her as she is the "voice". What I mean by "voice" is that she is sort of the vehicle for people to voice their opinions on society (like what Radio presenters are; think Lee Jordon in Deathly Hallows for reference), and highlight things that the people high up are afraid to touch. This means she will probably get in trouble legally, which would probably be a good plot line to take the story on (this isn't something that you have to take on necessarily but it was an idea that I had originally wanted to take on according to my notes that I still have—which was a hot mess to read through). I also intended Peter not to be the forefront of the book as I feel like this story doesn't need him in every single chapter due to Venice's dedication to her work and her craft, so please try to reframe from including him in each chapter as these sole chapters (as I like to call them without the love interest) would be where a lot of the character development should happen.
I think that Venus' storyline should have moments of separation from the MCU canon so I would love to see your creativity and what you think would happen in the life of Raine. I absolutely hate when books just stick to the canon of the universe and refuse to divert as it doesn't allow the character the chance to grow at their own pace and interact with new people/ learns new things. The best kind of stories allow that, and makes the oc feel more relatable. From what I originally planned, I at least wanted half the book to contain moments of growth and interaction so to whoever decides to write this, PLEASE keep that and allow Venus to grow outside of the MCU. But stay wary of the canon as I would hate to see Venus look out of place in the universe.
I also DON'T want her to have actual superpowers. That is a must that CANNOT change AT ALL. I have seen one too many stories give their oc's powers and I want to see something different. Venus—to me at least—just doesn't suit powers and is someone that wouldn't want to take on the superhero gig; so I wouldn't recommend making her a superhero with powers. I however, don't want her to not be able to fight and defend herself as I would love to see her (especially in Far From Home) kick some ass and be an overall badass (so please show that development and drive to learn how to defend herself).
I do have the right to deny remember. It isn't first come, first serve as well so no stealing.
