"Alright Mettaton, you're good to go," Alphys said. Mettaton was no longer in EX form. She had done some maintenance and he was now a powered up version of NEO. His defense and attack was powered up and he had new tech. We stood near where Alphys house use to be. All of us were ready to fight. Except for me. Undyne was in her undying form and both Sans and Papyrus had glowing eyes. I'd never seen Paps glowing eye before but it glowed a brilliant orange. Chara had a knife that she kept for emergencies. We were going to the last safe place near us. Back to Mt Ebot.
"Okay, is everyone good?" Alphys asked. We nodded.
"Umm," Papyrus spoke up. "Could we discuss what we're up against?"
"These things aren't our kind," Undyne spoke up. "So we can't spare them." She looked at me as she said this. "We don't know what they're after but-"
"It's me," Chara spoke up, "they're after my soul."
"We'll protect you and Frisk all the way," Sans spoke up. Ever since the night where they had the nightmare, Sans has been more trusting of Chara.
"Agreed!" Papyrus said.
"Okay," Undyne continued, "Mettaton, you protect Alphys. Sans and Chara protect Frisk." We nodded. We started the journey towards the mountain. Little did we know what we were dealing with.

Horns sounded in the distance.
"That's not a good sign," Undyne said.
"I'm detecting multiple monsters coming this was," Mettaton said.
"I'll take good care of them," Undyne said.
"I'm helping too," Chara replied. "You guys head up." We did as we were told. We managed to get a view of Undyne and Chara fighting. Chara dodged well and did quite a bit of damage. Undyne thrusted her spears. Instead of turning to dust, these fell to the floor when killed and disappeared in smoke. At last all the monsters were taken care of. They met us where we were.
"Wowie Undyne!" Papyrus said, "you're skills are good. Yours too little human."
"Papyrus WATCH OUT!" Mettaton said running behind him. A slash took him out. Mettaton crumbled and the same man was there.
"Didn't I warn you what I would do if you didn't give me the Pure Heart?" He said tauntingly. "Now you'll have to face the outcome of you're actions Frisk at the demon lord's hand."
"RUN darlings!" Mettaton shouted. He started to glow. Sans knew what he was doing and grabbed us. He teleported slightly up the mountain as Mettaton exploded.
"Mettaton," Papyrus said.
"Wait," Undyne said, "where is Alphys?" She looked straight at Sans. "Didn't you grab her?"
"Oh no," Sans said.
"What. Did. You. DO?!" Undyne shouted.
"That guy, he grabbed Alphys before I could."
"That means," I said, "Alphys got caught in the explosion."
