Prologue

It was 3 am in a small house in the suburb of Toronto. All the houses on the streets seemed to be all asleep, but there was a single one with the lights on.

"Hey, is he on with the plan?", a middle aged woman asked through the phone. She seemed very eager to know the answer.

"Ok, that's good," she nodded, and reassured the person on the other side, "it's going to be good for them, I promise."

She quickly muttered farewells and went straight on a call with somebody else.

"Did you tell Linh?" She was the one to start the conversation again, "oh ok, that's fine. Just pack her stuff and push her out of the house when it's time."

"Don't worry too much," she smiled unconsciously, "I have found a perfectly good motorhome for them to stay and exchange driving in. I'll send you some pictures."

"It's an easy-to-drive vehicle, not different from what the kids are already driving," the woman explained, "and there are comfortable chairs for them to sit in, with seat belts as well."

"The front chairs also turn back, so when they park the kids can talk, and plan their next adventure," she was so excited, "see, I'm such a genius!"

"There's also a kitchen for their cooking needs, and a small fridge to the side. You know, my daughter makes really good food," then the woman scrunched her eyebrows, "no, they are not going to starve."

"Yes, I know that they need to sleep, so, in the back there's a seating area, right?" She nodded along, unconscious that no one will see, "a bed can be put down over there, and the table for eating there is actually movable. Oh! I almost forgot! There's beautiful place on top of the motorhome that's for sleeping that can be accessed with a ladder. It's my favourite part!

"See! I told you," she smiled upon hearing some good news, "it's going to be great!"

After that, she mumbled quick goodbyes and ended the conversation. The corners of her lips no longer twitch upwards to form a smile. The woman then sighed defeatedly, knowing who she will have to call next.

"Oh hey," she started with yet another phone call, but seemed quite nervous, "yes, I understand that they're not friends anymore, but that doesn't mean they can't reconcile. This will be beneficial to him, as well as for my daughter."

The woman smiled contently after some vigorous convincing, "Thank you, you will not regret this."

The middle-aged woman the went to a different room in her house, and looked at who seemed to be her daughter. They have the same eyes and mouth, but instead of curly hair like hers, the daughter seemed to have straight hair. The girl woke up in daze.

"Mom?" She mumbled.

"Sorry honey," the woman whispered and slowly walked towards her daughter, "I just wanted to kiss you good night."

The girl smiled, "I love you, mom."

"I love you too, honey," the woman leans down and placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead, "sleep tight."

And the girl did, soundly and happily.

I actually did a lot of research to find the perfect motorhome, and it would be wrong not to tell you guys which one it is for those that are interested. It is called Solis made by Winnebago - from my understanding this is a very well known brand for RVs, but I could be wrong. The pictures I took are from their website, as well.

I also want to say that she didn't choose to call people at 3 in the morning. She had to because 3 am in Canada is 2pm in Vietnam. There's a huge time change here.
