Ronnie and i were settled in for the night so we can get a good nights sleep. "Goodnight baby." Ronnie said kissing my lips and hugging me. "Goodnight babe." I said kissing him back. I lightly closed my eyes and then fell straight to sleep. I wake up and it was midnight. I groaned and got up. I tried to go to sleep but i couldn't recalling what had happened yesterday. "Ron?" He gets up to. "What?" He said annoyed. "I can't sleep." He pulls me close to him. "What's wrong? Why can't you sleep baby?" Kissing me again. "It's just about what happened yesterday. I don't think i can forgive my dad for what he did." I get up again and stretch. I get my jacket and my purse and walked down the stairs. The tears just run down my face. I don't care if Ronnie doesn't chase after me i need some time alone. I take the car and drive off to some where in the woods.  I take a deep breath and called my mom.

M: Hello?

Me: sorry to wake up but. Is dad still mad at me?

M: no honey why would he?

Me: He didn't tell you what happened yesterday?

M: He slapped you but he was angry because you are dating Ronnie but i don't know what to do with that your father is right to be angry but he didn't have to slap you. I'll talk to him about it later this morning.

Me: thanks mom

M: Get some rest

Me: I will

We hang up and then i fall asleep in the backseat of the car. Ronnie wakes up and he doesn't see me in the bed beside him. He gets worried and checks to see if i am still down stairs. He checked every part of the house. "Baby?!" He called. Then he texted my phone. And called it a few times. "I'm so dead if i can't find her." Ronnie drives around the neighborhood but no luck. The he drives outside of town and finds  a similar looking car in the back of the woods. He drives there and notices it's my car. "What the hell?" He said looking through the car window and sees me laying in the car seat still on my back. "Babe?!" He called knocking hard on the glass window. I ignored the sound of the annoying bang on the window and turn over to fall asleep again. "Shit come on babe wake up! It's dangerous to be in the dam car like this." He yells and screams trying to wake me up again. Ronnie gets in his car and honks the horn. I wake up scared to death and see Ronnie's car next to mine. He smiles and hops out the car I unlock the car door and Ronnie comes in to carry me in his arms. "You worried me! What are you doing here in the woods alone?" He caressed his hand against my cheeks. "It was just my dad i am trying to make things right. I called my mom but she said that dad is right to be angry with me for dating you but she is going to talk to him about slapping me." We drive in our own cars back home and we spend the rest of the day with each other. And plan away to get along with my father again.
