Alisa: Myself Alisa, I will be your interviewer for today! Can you introduce yourself?

Mahak (AeturnusMaNan): Okay, so it's Mahak here. I really enjoy my writing. And I also love reading MaNan ffs. A huge fan of MaNan in kaisi yeh yariyaan! Like really a huge one! My first story was 'TRUE LOVE DOES EXIST.' Music and star gazing gives me peace. A teenager with no mood swings (Lol) Ambivert. And yes, if you are a MaNan fan, do DM me. We can chat for hours....

(Chuckles)

Alisa: When did you join Wattpad, and why?

Mahak: Well, I clearly remember, 29th september 2020 was the date I officially joined wattpad. At first my look through was to find books that I can read. Being a MaNan fan, I just came here to  get more of them!

Alisa: What was your first story, and is it still published? Are you still working on it?

Mahak: My first story is 'TRUE LOVE DOES EXIST!' And yes it is still available on my account. No! That book of mine is successfully completed!

Alisa: How many works do you have in drafts? Do you have lots of ideas for stories or very few?

Mahak: Well as of now I have only 1 story in my draft and I'll publish as soon as I complete writing it. And as for ideas, trust me I have loads, but I am able to give them a proper story or a proper track. I need to figure that out!

Alisa: Do you plan on becoming a published author? With which story/stories?

Mahak: Actually as of now, I have not really thought about being a writer or a published author. But yes, if I get a chance in future, that is after I complete my studies, then surely I'll grab it. And I would like Beautifully Broken to be published if so! 

Alisa: What inspired your story? Is there anyone it is dedicated to?

Mahak: I'll be very very honest. Beautifully Broken, the name I got from the series broken but beautiful. I actually loved siddharth's character in it. So I thought why not try the same with our MaNan. So basically I shaped the story in my way and presented it to the readers!

And yes, I have dedicated this book to my mom. I also officially published it on her birthday!

Alisa: Who's your favorite character in your story and why?

Mahak: My favourite character is obviously Manik Nandini. I know this might sound mad, but trust me, for me, they are even more than just fictional characters. I really love them way too much. And in my story, I love the way they love each other, understand each other without even being together.

Alisa: What's your favorite scene in your story and why? Describe it.

Mahak: I have only published 10 chapters of this book. So till now my favorite scene is of the 10th chapter "DESTINY'S GAMBLE". I love the way Manik understood Nandini and gave her time to be comfortable. He did not bombarded her with questions like other ff's, not understanding her POV. He knows that both were in pain, and he also knows that she has too suffered as per the story. He put Nandini even before his pain. I loved the way he loves her. So ya, I really love this scene.

Alisa: How did you handle writer's block? 

Mahak: Well trust me, writer's block really sucks

But if I go through, then I stop writing for a day or two. 

Listen to some songs and try to imagine MaNan in it.

See some movies or series to get ideas

If I see something from surrounding then I'll try to put that scene in my book

So once I think I am ready, I start writing and I keep erasing writing till I get satisfied with it.

Coz I think the writer herself needs to get satisfied and happy to make her readers happy!
