《Ellen》Lupine Lake: A Land of Ralosia

Lupine Lake was way too short. Yes, I'm complaining. It was a good story, but the way it was written was like it was part of a series. If anything, it did nothing but teased me. (I'm not much fond of that, by the way. *points chopsticks at author*) Despite the small annoyance, it was fun to read. A very quick read too.
The tribes were interesting enough. The way the fantasy world was described here was different. I was craving more knowledge on the world because it looked like the story was dependent on that. As I've said, it's like a sample was given. That just as the story was starting it ended. The characters for the most part had unique names. I'm guessing the names are based on the tribes each character is from. They were simple and not too over the top, which I liked. This short story told one true scene even though it was created from many small scenes. The details are on point and had me smiling because let's face it: a super huge squirrel coming at you would have you panicking. And the warriors of the Lupine tribe acted like killing it was nothing. The newcomers/allies to Oopa had me eager to learn more about them. This story didn't satisfy me enough when it came to them. Nevertheless, it amazed me they were all so unique. I wonder how long it took to come up with the ideas woven in this story.
This review probably consists of me complaining, but I can't help it. There is really nothing to review as the story was very clean in terms of writing. The characters were true to their personalities. And the world is fascinating. And it's so freaking short! I mean, it irritated me that there wasn't more. I do recommend reading it though. It makes a fun image in the mind when reading. This story could have been extended in my opinion, but the author probably didn't want to get set in just this moment with the lupine tribe due to the main story being priority. I want to read more of the story, but I'm afraid that the other stories would be written in the same fashion.
