2050: The Beginning of the End by Nicole (GoldenPen_)

I admire how your title is very ominous and leaning towards that side of sci-fi mystery that seems so intriguing. I'm getting the idea that your book is a series, and I'm already excited to be reading the first instalment. Your cover is also very neat, professional, and stereotypical in that way that the reader can tell that it's going to be a futuristic society novel. Awesome work. The blurb is also great, but I don't really like the first portion of it. Usually, blurbs tend to be rather short and are not narrated in the first person. If you'd like to keep that first segment, you could quote it, but I'm more of a fan of that smaller chunk you wrote underneath. I loved your opening and how we are very smoothly introduced to the characters, but I'm not a huge fan of how Lillian's backstory is revealed so much so early on in the story. Aside from that, the plot is spectacular. More than I bargained for, and I am beyond impressed with the way you are to draft such a creative experience into words. I admire how all the characters are getting their own perspectives, and as a reader I get to learn more about each of them and how they are relating to one another. The emotional appeal is so strong, and I think one of your biggest strengths here is how you are able to play around with relationship dynamics. Already from the beginning, I can see that parent-child relationship starting to become more fluid between the kids and their mother, and even the realness of the sibling relationship between Jason and Lillian. The flow is super smooth, your grammar is the most on point I have seen in a very long time, and I overall loved it. I heartily suggest that you enter this book into the Watty's this year before the closing deadline on September 30th, if you'd wish. But if you do, please know that I will be your biggest supporter Nicole!
