Please also note that I am not a professional. As in I don't get paid to make covers so I'm pretty much an amateur. I know how hard it is to make a cover you envisioned but can't really make due to limited resources or inexperience. Just note that I took everything into account and I might seem condescending in my comments at the same time overly praisy as well but that is because the comments in the entry chapter already said what I wanted to say so most of the things I will be saying are basically praises and nitty gritty improvements.

I honestly felt motivated to improve my graphics after seeing these entries. I sometimes wonder if I'm actually worthy enough to judge, lol!

I hope everyone's enjoying the contest so far. I hope it's not too much. I know some people are annoyed when contests like these require so many things, I just like to keep things organized and fun and I have such a passion for this contest, like you have no idea!!!

I know that results should start from the lowest scoring to the winner to create suspense. But I think the last place is also a suspenseful thing since everyone gets to see how well they did.

Again, like I said before, please do not be personally hurt by the rankings. All of you did so well but I just prefer one cover over the other.

Everything is fair since the winner is selected and judged from all areas and perspectives, not just mine only.

My Comments: Yes, Nivi! I knew you would be part of the top 3 even though you were one of the late people. I love the simple effectiveness of this cover. I love the mostly dominan blue color scheme with a splash of red. It's clean as well and it just looks aesthetically pleasing even though I know how much wattpad dumbs down the quality. The light blue at the back was a nice third color to even the tone of the cover so it didn't look too bright nor too dark. I guess I didn't rank you higher because there was just something lacking. Not saying that it's too little. It did make me go wow, but it didn't make me shocked, you know what I mean? Btw, shock factor isn't a criteria, but this round was to give me your first impressions and I can tell you are really talented. Congratulations on first place!! Keep up the good work Nivi!

My Comments: Aahhh! Oh my gosh Vel! This graphic was so good! I was so aesthetically pleased. This was the kind of cover I wanted and was looking for. How are you not yet at least a 100 followers is beyond me! Show your talent off more girl. There are so many things I want to praise you for like the face claim! I loved how you technically did stick to theme of elegance but at the same time, look so mysterious? I loved how you blurred the background making the girl stand out more. I loved how you divided the room to blue and red but the smoke effect relayed the opposite. The quality is so clean and so effortless that I honestly would pay for this cover if you asked me to, that's how good it is. I aspire to be this good at editing. Haha, maybe one day. You also were quite late for the update and you kept changing your mind and you kept saying you're annoying? Girl, that's how life is, but I am so glad you came back on time cause this was just fabulous. Marvelous job well done!!!!

My Comments: Okay, so you might have noticed I have ranked you significantly lower than you expected. I really love your cover, it was so clean and simple, and at the same time had that elegance and regalness that I was looking for but I feel bad for saying this but it looked quite plain.. (Ugh! I feel bad for saying this). You made a typography cover and that it is expected that the text should be the main focus but I felt like the star crown was what really saved you. If you plan to do a typography based cover, the text has to be unique for it to stand out or the background should make up for the simple text. Maybe have the font in a bolder and stronger color instead of just white. Maybe emboss it to give it this metallic look or add a shadow to it to give it a realistic look. You could also play around with the positioning and see what fits it best. I also felt like the black background with the occasional splashes of colors didn't work for me. If you will use a plain white text, maybe you can have the background a black metallic color, or at least make the background look glossy. I love the reflection of the crown and it would have been cool to have a reflection on the word entries. It was such a good edit though and many other people loved your cover. Fabulous work girl!

My Comments: I'm just honestly pleased that you went for a fantasy vibe Eirlys! I loved the magic effects and the elegance of the font. I also liked how you gave the cover a blue theme, it honestly works so well because the girl wore green. I think the reason why I didn't put you as my number one was because I didn't feel amazed? I don't know what's the right term and I'm sorry if it sounds weird to say. Like it was pretty but I wasn't blown away. It would have also been nice if the font was just one color, the blue in the text looked awkward to me. I placed you as the top 3 because girl, your editing skills are through the roof. My Comments: Can I just say that the first time I saw your entry, I actually said wow out loud? It looked so good as soon as I saw it. I can't help but gawk at your cover eveytime I edit the reading lists. It just looks so ethereal and otherworldly. Overall, the cover looked so pretty and clean. I don't know if it's just me, but the quality of the picture looked off? Like it looked blurry in some aspects. Especially the girl, but it still looked stunning. I also don't know if it's just me again but the 'I' in Rozie blending with the light put me off a bit. I mean, I know I'm not perfect, but judging 21 people, you are bound to get a bit nitpicky. So sorry if I sounded harsh, lol.

My Comments: If I had the most creative entry award for this round it would have definitely gone to you. I love how you went out of the box and did something completely unexpected. It would have been great if it followed the theme but I still love this, oh my god, It's so good!!! The quality is crisp and even if it did take me a while to read the font, I still love it. I kinda also would have preferred that the faded red blue and green in the background would just be gray. It looked too awkward in some parts especially the coloring of 'Rosie' and 'entries'. I love the centerpiece so much it's such a good mix of wacky but elegant. It gave such a modern feel and you pulled it off really well. I know you weren't confident with this cover as you said it in your entry but I admire your bravery for trying something different. Good job!

My Comments: Yes Juhi! This was such a creative cover. It would have been ranked higher but there are just some things that threw the judges off. I would first like to say I love the aesthetic of this. I love the colors and how well they look together. I also love the font style of this cover (Please pm me the font name and where you got it, lol thanks). I would just have liked the font of the "hosted by roze fayers" and "by juhi" to be smaller and more spaced out so that it doesn't look crowded. I know a lot of them said it already but the leaves were really the main issue. Maybe carefully placing which leaf covered what could have worked. But then again it depends on what editing app/software you used. I would have loved it if you maybe added more to it to make it stand out like a water puddle or a bird or something fun like that. Overall, beautiful job, could have been better but it was still great.

My Comments: I love the idea of the cover and the overall theme. I think the elements of the cover go together very smoothly. Some things I noticed was the lighting. It looked off to me. I had a hard time finding the light source since only Jisoo's face had light but the rest of her body is quite dark. Maybe cast a light on her torso or on the left side of the cover. The background is good and looks pleasing to the eye, very beautiful. The butterflies are a beautiful touch but it would have been better if it was behind the face claim's head so that it can fill the empty space there. I also felt the bottom part was overcrowded so either the font or the butterflies should have been placed on top. Speaking of the font, I would have preferred something more solid. Maybe place a shadow effect as it's quite hard to read. You can also space out the letters so it doesn't look too squished. I really liked this cover and it could have been my top three. Overall, job well done, looking forward to future entries.

My Comments: Wow! Can I just say wow 21 times over? Because you made me say it so many times while scoring and ranking your cover. You did so well that you even did better than my sample. (But then again, my sample was made in August 2019 and my editing style has changed since then). This was such a CLEAN, and I mean CLEAN cover that I even had to scrutinize to find editing mistakes but found none (I mean maybe her hand looks odd?). I found it cute that you used Tzuyu, that totally made me take a double take. I also loved the glossy effect that you added to the cover and I LOVE the font style with the gold. If I had to really scrutinize, I think the dedigned by and/or the hosted by could've been placed on top. Maybe not both but one of them on top. I think it's personal preference but the space up there looked quite uneven with the amount of stuff happening at the bottom. Overall, one of my top favorites of this round. Excellent job!

My Comments: First of all you are such a sweetheart and I hope you are not disappointed with the ranking. I would just like to mention that your cover was @The_True_K's initial favorite and you should be proud of that. I really loved the picture you chose and I really loved how you followed the theme I just wished the picture wasn't blurry. I don't know if it's meant to be blurry but it looks like it to me. I would have also preferred a more bold font, something to make your simple cover stand out. I have nothing against simple covers but a tip you should keep in mind is that simple covers are simple so you should be using filters and a unique and bold font for a more aesthetic appeal. Again, it's such a shame that you had a great picture, I just wasn't wowed by it. Hope that makes sense? However, you have really good potential and I can't wait to see your improvement.

My Comments: Okay, first of all, you were so on point with the theme. You gave me royal and gore at the same time and I'm living for it!!! I really love the shades of reds and greens that you used, it blends really well. I also loved the attention to detail on the girl's lights and shadows. I also loved the effect you used for the cover. Overall, a really good edit. However, if there was one thing to critique on, it would be the font. I don't want to sound rude but I think the font could've been better. I have nothing against the font style but the font color threw me off. It blended too much into the background, especially your username. It blended with the leaves with that shade of green. It would have been better if you used a lighter shade of green. The "annual graphics contest" should have come out front so that it looks cleaner. But, this is still one of my favorite outputs, good job!

My Comments: Love the picture, it's such a pretty picture. You also went for a more simple approach which is nice but it didn't look cohesive to me. I would have preffered if the black diamond border would be removed or the color would be white. All the fonts are different. It would be better to at least have two different fonts. One for the title and the other for the extra text. It also feels lacking, it could have at least used a filter or a more simple design. Loved the effort though and it's your first entry, it still has a lot of room to improve.

My Comments: Hi! I know how hard it was to submit this and I do feel sorry for putting this contest out for too long. You did however did a great job of passing, so at least you were committed. I'm just going to have to get straight to it. You weren't exactly my favorite however your edit wasn't awful. The cropping of the face claim could have looked smoother and the city skyline at the bottom felt unnescesary. The font is good, but it didn't feel like a book cover kind of font. The roses at the back would have been okay if that was your whole background. Maybe find a solid color scheme? I mean rainbow is obviously a color scheme but you chose a face claim that looks like it belongs in a war or dark fantasy kind of setting. If that was the case you could have made the brightness darker, maybe add more shadows. It would have looked better if it was cohesive. I like the idea though, I just wished it wasn't all over the place. You did really well and you have the vision and the talent, you just need more practice. Hopefully, this contest can be a good experience for you. The best of luck.

My Comments: First of all, you were the first one to send in your entry, I am grateful but at the same time, I feel like you should have taken your time with it. I'm not saying it looks bad but it looks rushed, it looked okay. Not the best, not the worst, just okay. Positives, are that I liked the bluish purple color scheme you got. I especially loved the face claim you used and I like how you blackened her eyes. It looked really unique and cool. I LOVE the background with the city landscape and the moon. However, I feel like that random red streak really ruined the effect the cover was supposed to give. It also looked messy. If you would have changed it to a cooler color like a blue or purple, it would have looked better. Or you could have placed the font in front of the streak so that the red looked like it came from the back and not the foreground. This is the first round though and I feel like you have a lot of potential, keep up the good work! (P.S. I hope I don't sound too nitpicky!)

My Comments: So I know that you have been very busy and it has been a long time since you made graphics and I just want you to know that people start somewhere. I ranked you last because I personally just think your cover is a whole mess. The best thing about your cover is the face claim. I love how the face claim was edited and the whole look of it. I feel like the glossy overlay is too much, maybe tone it down a little to balance the look of the cover. The font style of the "designed by NALU6999" and the "hosted by Roze Fayers" was good but it was blurred out and placed awkwardly. The title is also awkwardly placed at the bottom and the "annual graphics contest is not centered". I wish you would focus on one or two color schemes. Since your cover is a more dark metallic color, the font should also balance it out with a silver or gold. As a sample of what I think you should have done, I made my own revisions of your cover below. I only used script for the title because that was what you went for, so I tried to show what your idea could have been like. My style is obviously different to your style but what this meant to show is how it could have looked different.
