So first we have our co-judge herself stha2501! She sent this to me and I was shocked that she wanted to give it a try. You didn't really have to but I'm glad you did!

Next, we have someone who is a really close friend that I have made here in Wattpad. She was one of the people who commented in the chapter that she would like to give it a try. This is how she did! She is the great and talented thelightbender! Please show her some love, she desperately needs it right now.

The last and not the least was made by Saramitra who I didn't realize was making the cover until she said so. This was a great attempt and I love the element she chose!

My Comments: Yay! Congratulations Anyi! You finally won for the first time. All your efforts have paid off and this is by far the best entry you sent throughout the competition.

The element you used is quite common and the graphic is quite expected as it is your usual graphic style. I'm not usually a fan of overly done highlights but it looked good here because it made sense. It didn't look too much unlike your I am not Cinderella book cover.

I wish I can see more style variations from you though. Your covers sometimes don't stand out because you don't try to go out of your comfort zone. Like I said in the beginning, this is a learning experience so I hope you try new things and be brave.

Just like galacticosmic and GeekGoddess- who have tried going out of their comfort zones, have won most of the time. It surprises me how creative those two can be and I hope you can try to be creative too.

Love the text, the highlights, the rings you surrounded the face claim with, the color scheme, the face claim itself. So many good things with this cover! Keep it up Anyi!

My Comments: You won the people's hearts yet again which is not surprising at this point 🤣! Anyway, you're probably wondering why you didn't win.

Well, the votes on your covers were quite split and leaning towards the gold cover more. Both entries were great but I guess the gold one left more of an impression on others.

I will be honest, it was quite a predictable cover and it's nothing unique but I really love how you pulled off a seemingly beautiful cover.

Some of the things that irked me was the font that you used at the top and bottom. They were quite too fancy that the words weren't understandable immediately.

I love the metaphor that you used and didn't just based gold on the actual element but you related it to time as well, hence the clock in the back. I also love the beveled gold borders, it made it look complete. Great job this time Velle, it's just not my favorite this round.

My Comments: Hi Cat, so you were the most creative cover. I really loves the elements you placed into the cover. Really like the editing and I can tell you worked really hard on it.

I feel like some people told you in discord about your fonts. As much as I love the font of the title, I just felt your username and the subtitle looked out of place.

Since there was also so much going on in the edit, the title's font made it look really over edited and it didn't look as pleasing to me.

Maybe placing the subtitle at the very top could have worked a little better.

Really creative and beautiful edit, you were definitely my sister's favorite but not really my favorite this round.

The element that you chose is so aesthetic and I like how you placed a moon in there to represent the element's name. However, I feel like this cover is too predictable?

You mentioned in the meaning that selenium is also used to automate web browsers. I don't think that's the actual element Seleniun, that is another kind of Selenium.

The edit was clean, really well edited. Love the red borders and the red anf blue color scheme you got. I love the subtitle, it's really fitting and cute. The title was also neatly placed and the moon really popped but I guess your cover didn't stand out too much as half of the co-judges ranked you lower than I expected.

My Comments: So for some reason, most of the co-judges really like this cover but I do prefer the gold.

I liked that you tried to do something different but I will be honest that it did disappoint me a little. I was expecting something more creative or shocking to go with the edit but it's quite the standard cover which really blends in a graphic designing contest.

It's a really good cover, just not really my kind of standard. I hope this doesn't offend you, I am a really honest person and I want you to know how I judge things.

I like how clean both of the covers are. Nothing was over edited nor under edited. The font style is creative and cool. Didn't really like to font placements.

As much as possible the designer name should always be on the edge of the graphic, not in between two texts. The subtitle should also not be placed on the same side as the subtitle as it will get a bit confusing.

My Comments: Kyle, your cover is really well thought out and has a really different vibe compared to the others. The creativity on this is amazing and I was impressed reading your description.

I might say though that the subtitles have a really dark shadow and it takes away my attention of the really clean and beautiful edit. It could have been okay without it honestly. I also wish there was more shading and lighting to face claim as the light source is from the back.

It was good but it didn't really stand out to me when I compare all of your entries in one collage. So you aren't at the bottom but you aren't at the top.

I know you wanted to do better this round and you really did not disappoint, I just think you have more potential.

My Comments: I really like the backstory behind the prometheum cover. Having the cover realte to the mythology was really smart and it really gave me those vibes.

You would have been ranked higher on my part but there were things I didn't really like in this cover. One of them being the stroke around the font. I personally am not a big fan of stroke in any kind of graphic, even if it's really small. I feel like the subtitle and "graphic by salemdiablo" could have looked better in all caps. Also, there is a weird cut of the texture at the top. Like there is a smooth white color and then you can see the line that seperates it. It could have been done more subtler. Also the fire and the black charcoal pieces made the cover look a bit messy and rough looking.

I love the fire on her face though, that's the best part of the cover. The gold borders also tied everything together and gave it this elegant look. Hope to see more from you Jasmine!

My Comments: I feel bad because people seem to misinterpret your intentions behind the cover. Really sorry for not uploading your descriptions, hope you can forgive me for that.

I read it intetly and as much as I love the creativity behund the cover but at the end of the day this is a graphic designing contest. Your graphic should compliment your idea well because most people are going to judge for what they see in the graphic.

I think the main problem is that you have too many font variations and it made the cover look too full and messy almost since you placed them really randomly without real purpose or pattern. "The Red Element" could have honestly been mistaken as a title. "A story by kris" and your username should have swapped places. The "hosted by comfortableshows" was quite unnecessary and it looked random in the cover.

I will be honest, this just looks like a text slap even though I know that's not true. The intentions were cool, the outcome was not really satisfactory. The picture idea could have been done better with maybe polaroid pictures hanging on a string or something similar to that. I really appreciate the effort, sorry if it seems too much.

My Comments: I keep calling you BP but I guess your name is actually Nicole so I'm going to start using it now. So, why the low ranking? I know you're getting tired of being at the bottom but I'm not being biased, you have significantly downgraded from your 1st entry which is still my favorite entry even until now.

The concept is quite common. If you are going to incorporate a fire concept, salemdiablo did a really good job with it and made it unique in a way.

Let me start with the title. It doesn't look great. FLUORINE would look better than Fluorine. Use a simpler font for the subtitle. I can barely read it. Why did you interchange the placement of "Graphics by" and "BluishlyPink"?

The concept is nice, the edit is also nice but it just feels too much. It didn't really look pleasing to me.

My Comments: I love the effort Juhi and you definitely improved but I felt like something was lacking. The baclground looked too empty. Your subtitle and your name is a bit too large. Shrink it down a bit and space it out to make the title stand out.

You can also try to add a border or a lens flare to grab attention. I feel like the title and the crown needed a glow.

It was a really great effort and I love the improvement. Try to watch tutorials on YouTube to maybe get inspiration. Those usually help me out when I'm stuck.

The font is my main issue on this. Since it's blended, it doesn't really stand out. You could also try to add a splash of color in there to make it pop a little bit more.

My Comments: I really feel bad Brooklyn. You are really consistent with sending your entries but you always end up in the bottom. I really want you to have an underdog moment but I guess this round isn't it yet.

If you want to learn how to improve try watching and reading tutorials and praciticng them in your free time. You can learn new tricks that way as well. Try to learn how to place text properly on a cover and what should be essential in a book cover.

It's very obvious this is a text slap and although I appreciate simplicity as beauty, I felt that there was no proper effort. Sometimes simple is good when it's effective. Please try to avoid text slaps in contests as you will be overlooked very quickly.

I really do hope you can improve. You have so much potential and I hate to see it go to waste. ☹
