The door creaked open slowly. The three peered into the prison. It was more of a citadel. There were many cells lining the seemingly never-ending hall. Only two dragons were in cells.
In one cell sat a depressing looking cage-carrier, back towards the wall.
In the other...
"SYCAMORE!" Precious cried. She rushed to the barred cell and unlocked it with the key given to her.
"Precious! You- you came!" Sycamore said, surprised. "Listen to me, listen to me now. You have got to get out. Leave. Run! Make like a tree and leave!" Sycamore begged.
"But a tree must have a forest, and a forest is made of many," Precious retorted.
"Put your wings and the air, and you might have a quick death," growled a voice. They all slowly turned around. It was the cage-carriers. The one in the front held a freeze-ray. They were doomed.
"Run," Sycamore whispered. As the cage-carriers started to kill them, Blaze, Star, and Precious ducked, and Sycamore flew up. He jumped on the head of the cage-carrier up front, making him drop the ray. Sycamore dug his claws into the cage-carrier's scales. Sycamore was holding a little packet, grabbed something from it, and put it into the scratches he made. The cage-carrier cried out in pain, and fell to the hard ground. He was suddenly consumed by an odd plant. He was dead. Sycamore jumped to another, and another and another, leaving them dead, wrapped in the branches of a plant, until every single one of them were inside a plant.
"What was that?" Star said.
"That was awesome! I want a replay!" Blaze said. Sycamore held up the packet.
"Ringonian Greenblood seeds. If it touches your blood it grows instantly, it consumes you, you suffocate, and it feeds off your corpse. It is a weapon that the forest dragons use. Come on, let us go save your army." Sycamore said.
"How did you bring that? And how did you know we brought the mamba army?" Precious asked.
"Had it closed in my mouth. They never checked. And I know about the army because they," he gestured to the plant-consumed cage-carriers, "they only come if the main army is in duty." Sycamore then flew up, pressed a button, and opened the sky roof.
"Heh heh. You said duty." Blaze giggled as they flew out.
