My eyes flickered a bit, then opened wide. I can't believe that he is in front of me. I am not ready for our encounter.

Now the environment is completely silent. Everyone is staring at him. I can hear faint curses from my friends.

"How we missed his smell?" Pyne's said in very voice.

He looked at Pyne's direction. He was already staring at him. Yeah, if I hear that they all did. Everyone was silent. No one dared to say anything.

His eyes locked with mine, I continued to stare with lowering my eyes. Finally, he spoke, "Everyone goes back to the packhouse."

"But, why?" Pyne asked.

He gave him a stare and Pyne returned the same.
"We found some rouges in East borders. Patrolling security has killed most of them but few escaped in this direction."
Everyone is in tension. Pyne closed his eyes for a few seconds and tension is visible on his face.

"I can smell rogues nearby. We need to move from here to a safe place. They will come after us." Gabriel said.

They nodded and started to pack our picnic. I heard a voice the moment I started to follow them.

"You are coming with me."

I stared at him. What? Why? I am so confused and scared as hell.

"Why? I will come with them." What the hell he want from me?

"Because I said. Come with me." I wanted to argue with him but jolly held my hand to be quiet. Alpha gets angry easily, Duh.

"She will come with us," Pyne argued.

"You won't be able to keep her safe," Gabriel said.

"We are under attack, what the hell you are doing here alpha? Do you even want to keep her safe? Or you are planning to kill her and put the blame on rogues?" Pyne really cares for me.

Instead of fighting back with Pyne, Gabriel signed us to keep it quiet. Everyone is alert, ready to fight.

Six wolf's are slowly coming this way. Blood red eyes, large teeth's. They are ready to kill. Immediately I am pulled back behind Serena.

Everyone's teeth and hand are elongating, they are in the transformation phase. I am scared as hell.

"Close your eyes Sky if it's too much for you." I nodded and closed my eyes. Wolf's fight I already saw but their transition phase is horrible.

Everyone is in wolf form except Serena. She is holding my hand continuously.

When I opened my eyes, I saw wolves fight. Now I know the brown wolf belongs to him. They all are growling and fighting. Brown wolf killed one of the wolves with his bared teeth. Gray wolf was struggling with two large wolves.

Being unable to recognize everyone in their wolf form, I started to pray for my friends. Very soon six wolves were dead.

Two wolves shifted back to human form. Serena tossed some shorts to Pyne and Gabriel. Nudity doesn't matter much to them.

Gabriel started in his alpha voice, " Now you know kiddo, you can't keep her safe. There are so many rogues out there."

Pyne's face was filled with anger. He is bound to obey his alpha. I can see him cursing in a very low voice.

He turned to my side, "You are coming with me. No arguments."

Jolly and I followed him for a few minutes and saw a car on the valley road. The backside of the car was out of space because of so many stuff. Somehow jolly adjusted in the back seat. Now I had only one option that is to sit in front with him.

He pulled out a fresh shirt and jeans to wear. As soon as I closed the door I felt hurt. Not sure but his actions, his presence always hurt me.

"Why do you want to save me?" He could have mind linked them, still, he came there. Why?

He spoke without looking at me, " Because you are weak. You can create problems for the whole pack."

Huh, what else I was expecting from him? He thinks I am weak that's why he doesn't want to accept me as his mate. His mother was also a human and she was a perfect Luna to this pack. Still, he thinks humans are weak. Not everyone thinks same but that's what he thinks.

He drove through valley road. Tears were forming in my eyes. I moved my eyes to the car window. His body is radiating alpha energy which is forcing me to submit to him But I am not going to.

Suddenly, three wolves jumped in front of the car. Sudden car break caused me to hit my forehead with an air vent. With my dizzy head, I can feel blood running down from the left side of the face.

Gabriel came out of the car and started to fight them in human form. I can see his muscles. Jolly immediately shifted to her wolf and started to fight. Gabriel kicked one wolf with his leg and grabbed another with his hand. Wolf tried best as Gabriel chocked him to death.

Another wolf was on alert mode now. Instead of fighting with them he ran into my direction. I couldn't process the whole scene. Wolf tried to scratch me from the half-open window of the car. I bent on the side towards driving seat.

I looked up for help. Jolly was struggling with a wolf. Gabriel was staring at me but he was not moving.
Why? Was it his plan to get me killed by rogue wolves?

Rogue wolf was continuously trying to scratch me using his claws. Filthy wolf got a chance and scratched my jeans. I started to panic.

There I saw a green-eyed guy. In broad daylight, I saw him. My illusions are increasing with pain and hurt. He is angry, his eye colors are changing from green to dark green with a slightly golden touch.

"You are hurt, please tell me which pack you are in?" This time his voice was demanding. I tried to focus

Gabriel started to move slowly. Seems like he is having an internal war. Does he even want to save me?

Gabriel came caught that wolf by his neck and forced it's head to the largest stone nearby. Wolf struggled for a few seconds before it died.

Jolly also killed another wolf. She went behind a large tree to shift and get some clothes on. After shifting back to her human form, she immediately came to hold me.

Gabriel looked around before starting the car. We sat inside again. I just pray to God for my safety. My head is hurting badly.

Because of too much pain, my mind is creating illusions of green-eyed guy. He is not saying anything, but I can feel pain in his eyes. That pain is because of me. Like I am hurting him. I closed my eyes and tried to relax. I need to focus on my reality.

As soon as we reached packhouse, Gabriel asked," Are you okay?"
Since when he cared for me? My head is dizzy but my mind is clear. I stared at his eyes, "I Skylar Davies reject you Gabriel John Smith as my mate."

He stared at me for few seconds, "I Gabriel John Smith would love to accept your rejection but you are not my mate."
