Alphas and their packs have arrived in the blood moon pack. Alpha Walter has done proper preparation for all pack members. Managing three-day mating celebration isn't an easy task.

Six-packs, blood moon, Bluestar, white moon, half-moon, Black moon, crescent moon pack and their unmated wolves are here. Alpha Walter has opened all rest houses and hotels for guests. They have assigned hotels to specific packs just to avoid unnecessary issues. Thousands of unmated wolves together looking for their mates are very difficult to handle.

On the first day, we are going to have alphas meeting and set common rules which need to be followed by all six-packs.
All alphas met during lunchtime. I was silently observing and calculating their behavior and expressions. One of them is hiding my mate. I am going to make him for that.

Food was amazing, but today everyone is hungry for their mates. A faint smell of our mate and wolves will break all rules to meet their mate. To avoid that, alpha Walter suggested a rule.

Before entering Blood moon pack territory, alphas gave an order to each unmated pack member to not use their smell power. Their nose is just a human nose until the command is lifted by their alpha.

"Hello, alphas, welcome to the Blood moon territory. I am really happy to see all of you here." Alpha Walter's voice boomed.

"To make this mating ceremony successful, we need to follow some rules. Let me know if you have any issues, we will talk and settle things down."
Then he started to announce rules loudly.

Rule no 1: No fights in my land. If something happens then the final decision will be taken by the host pack.

Rule 2: No one will be taken or marked without their consent.

Rule 3: Whoever wants to join/leave the pack after finding their mate, alphas will respect their decisions.

Rule 4: At any condition, an alpha will not force anyone to reject their mate.

Rule 5: No one is allowed to insult other pack members.

Rule 6: Hurting or abductions of any human, witch or wolf is not allowed.

"If alpha breaks any of the rules, his pack will be banned in mating celebration for the next two years."

Alpha Walter dared everyone to raise a concern. Under his management, everything is going to be under control.
"Today evening we all will meet on grounds behind the mountain"

"One more thing, I came to know that some of the rogues are roaming on our borderlines. Take care of your pack territory. Alpha Joseph and alpha Gabriel, you both are here only to support your pack. If you want, you can leave to protect your territories.

Rest of you are yet to meet your mates, let me know if you too want to leave for the safety of your pack."

"I will leave tomorrow morning. My daughter will be here until the ceremony ends." Alpha Joseph said.

"My brother can take care of rogues." Alpha of Half-moon replied.

"My territory is nearest to here. I would like to give rogues a shock if they dare to lift an eye on a white moon pack." I said.

"I have already done preparations to keep my pack safe from rogues. I am going to stay here until the end." Alpha Gabriel said.

"Decision is all your Alphas. " Alpha Walter said.

In the evening, all-male wolves gathered in the designated ground. Everyone's happiness and hope are visible on their face. I am also hopeful to meet her. They kept females separated from males.

"Dear all, your alphas will remove restrictions from you. Then all of you will be able to smell your mates. We all will run towards the forest. Everyone is going to follow me. Near the lake, my sister is a leading female group. If you don't find your mate, you need to come back here. If you found your mate, you can spend time with them, but as ritual says you can't claim them today."

"Dear alphas it's time for us to start the run." With this, all alphas removed the restriction on their smell. Everyone started to run behind their alphas. Only alpha Joseph and Gabriel didn't participate.

All wolves were running in their human form. No one was wearing a shirt. Moonlight was enough to show us the path. When we entered the forest, female scents filled their nostrils. Loud howls can be heard from woods. Near lake, they started to make rounds. Female wolves too returned their response with howls. I frowned as I couldn't find her lavender smell.

Alpha Walter along with me and crescent pack continue to run back towards the ground with other wolves. Sadness was visible on our faces. Even alpha Walter was no exception.

She is not here. I can't find her smell. Each breath of air is breaking my heart. I just want to kill whoever is hiding my mate. A frustrated growl escaped my mouth. Alpha Walter came to my side and gave me an eye. His eyes telling me to calm down. I inspected my surroundings. One of the alpha lied to me, but who?
We all ran under moonlight so I couldn't see female faces. Tomorrow, during the mating ritual, I am going to find out those two girls. Hopefully, tomorrow I will come to know the name of the pack she is in.

Skylar POV

It's evening time, we are supposed to escape by tomorrow morning. It will take us one day to reach Blood moon territory.

Johnson has started to feed them wolfsbane in a very slight amount with the food. It will make them slow just like humans.

Tonight they are going to feed them one more dose, with that they are going to sleep. That's when the other six people will replace us.

"I can't go without my dress. This is going to be my first chance to meet my mate." Martha pouted.

"Okay, we will ask someone to get your dresses. " Jimmy assured her.

Martha and I cooked food for everyone. We ate in silence. Right now our aim was to find their mate and try to get help from another alpha.

Six pack members delivered food to the guards. With this food, they are going to sleep for the next 2-3 days. Liza will cure them. But as of now, they are going to sleep.

They bought our dresses as well. Julia did packing for us. Her delivery is due any time and she did her best so that my friends can meet their mate properly.

As soon as guards started to drift off, we began our journey.

A journey to find mates.

A journey to bring a change.

A journey to resolve the mystery.
