After 1 week:

Skylar's POV

Ouch, my head hurt really bad. I wanted to turn around, but couldn't my back hurts. I wanted to sleep more but in a comfortable position. I decided to move my body slowly.

Legs first, tried but failed to move. My legs feel too heavy specially right one. Like I have a bandage or something.

Okay may be I am still in deep sleep.

Hands, tried to move it. Not moving.

What the hell is going on here? Why I can't move my body. It's not the right time to sleep, I need to move. Slowly slowly, I tried to feel every part of my body.

It wasn't a good idea. A bandage on right leg, another one on right hand, IV injected in left arm. And head hurts like hell. What the hell was happening to me. I tried to speak but nothing came out. I felt like, trapped in my own body.

"She is moving, Mommy.....I saw her moving." Kid's sound was slowly fading. Seems like he went to find her mother.

I tried to open my eyes, bright sun light welcomed me. It was difficult for me to adjust my eyes. The first thing I saw was beautiful pair of green eyes. So beautiful and captivating. For a second, I forgot about my pain.

"Breathe.. please." He pleaded. He looked to manly to plead. I listened and released the breath, I was holding. When I did, he sighed in relief. His dark circles showed that, he didn't slept well. Those green eyes were worried and captivating.

"Are you okay? " Someone decided to disturb us and I saw frown in those eyes. my eyes moved from him, only to land on Serena. She looked worried too.

Why everyone around here was so worried. Was it kind of worry face competition or I was missing something.

"Mommy... See I told you." Small kid spoke, he was pulling Serena's hand.

"Oww..  thank you baby." Serena rouffled his hairs and planted a kiss on his forehead.

Whhhhaattttt? Serena have a kid. Who looks around 4 years. I was totally shocked. How many years I missed from my life?

Another surprise came, when nothing came out from my mouth. I tried again but couldn't speak anything.

What the fuck?? I became aware of my own body. It wasn't my imagination when I thought, I couldn't move my body. Sadly, it was truth.

"Oh god, Skylar are you okay?" Serena saw panic in my eyes. How I was supposed to tell her that my voice is missing.

"Calm down and breathe. Pack doctor is coming soon." I saw care and concern in those green eyes. Still he stood at the end of the room. Silently, observing me. Our eyes locked and I started to feel relaxed... ???  Was he some kind of magician who can control moods? He looked like someone, I met in my dreams. But how?

"I am sorry, I got late because of an emergency operation." A new person bowed and continued to apologise to green eyed man. Same eyes were glaring at this new person coldly.

He asked everyone to move and sat on a chair beside my chair. He looked around thirty.

"Hello Lu...Lady. I am Jackson. Pack doctor. I am going to check up on you." He spoke softly.

The very first thought came to mind was, where I was? Lisa was pack doctor. I wanted to ask where she was? But couldn't speak.

"Ahh.. you haven't spoken in a while. Take it easy. Have some food and then try to speak. Hopefully, by today evening or tomorrow you will be able to speak." He kept checking my hands, head, fever etc.

Serena nodded her head to pack doctor, "I will prepare something for her to eat." She left the room.

When he was done checking me. He gave me a brief smile. "You are very strong. Just follow 3 rules.
1. Eat well. 2. Sleep well and 3. Don't worry. You are going to be fine." I couldn't even nod my head.

Both men were exchanging looks, like they were talking to each other. Wolf thing. They can speak to each other using mind link.

I concentrated to my surroundings. This place was new to me. Other than Serena, I couldn't recognize anyone. Oh, I remember..  Serena found her mate. Did I come with her? Okay I need water more than my answers.

Immidiately, he started to move towards my bed. He took a glass from table, filled it with water. He just did something on the side of my bed. Bed from head side went up and I was in half sitting position. He bought glass of water near my lips. I drank water with my trembling lips.

"Blink your eyes once if you need more. " He spoke without breaking our eyes contact. I blinked and he gave me a smile. I liked the way he choose to communicate with me. I frowned a little bit inside, he didn't touch me.

What the heck? He was taking care of me as a gentle man and here I was getting upset because we didn't touch. Skylar get a hold of yourself, why are you behaving like this?

Where the hell was Serena? It looked like that pack doctor left too leaving both of us alone in this room.

"Serena, will be here to keep you company. Please eat and let me... err... her know if you need anything. I ...  Pack doctor will come back to check on you." I saw something golden flicker in his green eyes. What was that? Without turning around he left room. I didn't want him to leave my side. As soon as he left, Serena entered room with something in her hands... And I smelled food.

She set a table in front of me to keep food on it. She got me some podridge

"Oh god Skylar, I am so happy to see you awake." She said wiping her tears.  She was worried for me.

"I know you have a lot to ask. But right now I want you to eat then take your medicines and sleep. Tomorrow, hopefully you will be able to speak, and I promise to give your all answers." She knew I was worried about my surroundings. I was worried about Lisa. Did Gabriel found that I ran away? What if he found me again? Panic started to re-appear.

"Relax Skylar, you are safe here. No one will ever hurt you here. If it sounds relaxing to you, I will stay here with you. Don't worry." I knew she wasn't lying. I just blinked my eyes in response.

Serena fed me some podridge, pomegranate juice and some medicines. I felt much better after having some food. Due to medicines, I felt sleepy too. Knowing that Serena was going to stay by side, I welcomed sleep to consume and heal me.

When I opened my eyes again, it was quite easier for me adjust in room's light. Very low light was on, it was enough for me to recognize those beautiful pair of green ones.
He was staring at me like no one did before.

"Are you okay?" In response to that I blinked. "Do you want water?" I blinked again. He got me a glass of water.

"Thank you." A trembling voice spoke. Ah..  finally I got my voice. He stared at me again. His eyes were dancing with happiness. I blushed.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I don't know what I feel like , I can't move my body. Where is Serena?" I was never good with talking strangers.

"Serena is preparing your food.

"Hmm."

"I can give you company till she comes. If want to be alone, I will leave" he said, but he eyes said otherwise.

"Stay.. please." I don't know him but he is nice and I don't want to be alone.
I need some answers and I think he can give me few.

"Which year is it?" He gave me a smile.
"We are in 2020." Seemed like he wanted to say something else but choose not to. I signed in relief to know this.

"Where am I ?" This place was completely new to me.

"We are in White Moon Pack." His response relaxed me. That's why everyone was treating me so well. Serena too looked different. I remember, Serena found her mate. So she came with him. But how come I ended up here?  Gabriel was so determined to marry me. Seems like I escaped successfully. But how? I don't remember. But, how I got these injuries.... So deep that I can't even move my body.

"I don't remember coming here. Do you know anything?"

"It will be better if you ask Serena. "
Yeah I will eat her head till I get my answers.

"Okay...Do you know when I came here?

"One week ago."

"Ohh.. umm what about your alpha?? He doesn't have any issue with me being a human?" I needed to know this.
His eyes were staring at me differently now. Like he trying to hide hurt. What was hurting him? I didn't want him to hurt. Did he got hurt because I talked about his alpha.

A smile appeared on his face.
"Actually, he is quite happy to see you here... In our territory." Thank God. I don't want to deal with more Alpha stuff.

Ahh... I didn't ask his name. "I am Skylar... And you are....?"

He gave me a bright smile, "Grayson..."

"Nice to meet you Grayson." I desperately wanted to ask about him. I remember him from my dreams. He was the one. But how ? And how should I ask him ?

"Nice to meet you again. Skylar." He was blushing. Wait what? Again?

"Again?" Yeah we met in my dreams. I was curious to hear his side of the story.

"We met during, mating ceremony. We danced, had fun all night. Do you remember?"
He was expecting me to remember. Here I was, I thought he never existed outside my dreams. Now he was in front of me, and I couldn't differentiate between my dreams and reality.

"Or maybe not... You were drunk that night."he sounded sad. Sad just because I don't remember him.

"Yeah, I had too much drinks. I don't even know how I went back to Bluestar pack." I said it almost to myself. To Change the subject, I asked,"In mating ceremony, did you find your mate?"

He just stared at me. Debating inside what he should say. Maybe he didn't find her. I don't want him to find a mate. Oh god, just kill me now. I just woke up , couldn't move but couldn't stop crushing on Grayson.

"Don't loose hope, you will find her. " I tried to kill the silence between us.

I was wondering, where the hell was my so called friend, Serena. Why she wasn't coming? Maybe alpha issue.

"I was wondering, if your alpha will be really okay with me, a human being here? "

"I told you he is happy to have you here."

"I heard a lot about him, sounds like a good guy to me."

"That's up to you to decide." I saw him blushing again.

"What? Why? I am just a human. I never met him before. How can I..."

He cut me off, "because you know him. You talked to him all the evening." What? I didn't talk to anyone except him....that means.
My eyes went twice the size, I continued to stare at him.

"I am the alpha of White Moon pack. We are in our territory. I promise you to keep safe." Holy shit. He was alpha, whole day he took care of me. I was scared but still blushed.

Here they go blushing. No fights, no hurting, only healing.
