Chapter 17

'Everyone has a
plan 'til they get
punched in the
mouth.'

The first thing I notice is the pink hair. Literally. I look up and bright pink catches my attention. I don't even bother looking at his face and my eyes travel straight to the bright pink blob of hair on his head.

Before I can think about what I'm doing, I fall onto Lea in laughter. "Oh My Goooooooooosh!"

I hear Lea's voice next to me but I'm to busy trying to stop laughing. "I can't b-believe you a-actually did I-it!"

She bursts into another round of laughter and I see his face grow bright pink. Just like his hair.

Rhea swaggers into the room, walking straight past the Alpha. She quirks her eyebrow at me but I just point my shaking finger at the bright pink hulk of man.

She turns slowly, looking at me with a confused expression on her face.

I point again and then she sees it. Her jaw drops open and her ears turn bright red, a sign that she's about to start laughing.

But the Alpha says nothing. His face is back to normal and he's staring me up and down. I clear my throat, elbowing Lea and a Rhea deep into their stomachs.

Rhea looks at me and does the same thing as the Alpha. "Wow Q, you've actually decided to change the disaster that is your fashion sense."

I scoff, hitting her on the head. "Seriously? It's only for a bit. Then I'm going back to the comfortable, casual wear that I always wear. I'm trying something new."

"Like Quinn could pick a dress like that." Rhea sniggers at Lea's sly comment and high-fives her.

"What are we, five year olds? You know that when you high-five someone, you high-five everyone around you! You disappoint me."

Lea rolls her eyes and high-fives me.

Then she leans in, excited. "He's staring you down. Part one of 'Lover Boy' is on the go!"

I scrunch up my eyebrows and do the same with my nose in distaste. "Lover boy?"
She shrugs her shoulder carelessly. "Can you think of anything else?"

I narrow my eyes, taking the challenge. "Challenge accepted."

She looks at me totally confused and shrugs her shoulders yet again. "Okie. Anyway, strut your stuff in front of pink dude before he leaves and eat something. Anything to get his attention on your lips."

"Cheeky girl."

She flips her hair over he shoulder and walks like a model, one leg in front of the other. "What can I say, I excel in that department!"

I feel the nerves fill my stomach and shake my head. "Okay, I'm going. It's going to happen."

"Why you so worried? You lost your virginity to this guy, calm it!"

I shush, annoyed. "Want to announce it to the whole world?"

She grins evilly. "Yes." Then she walks away. Damn!

I inhale deeply and strut forward, making sure to sway my hips. I grab a milkshake with a straw and casually sip the cold beverage out of the straw.

I feel his vision burning deeply within like lasers, and I make sure to keep the blush off my cheeks.

I finish it and place the cup gently in the sink. I walk up the stairs slowly, scared that I'll rip the dress.

I reach the top and jog to my room, slamming the door.

I look at Lea and she looks like she wants to know every detail. "That was very tense."

She moves her head to the side like a puppy and smirks. "Sexually tense?"

I lounge in my leggings and hoodies and stare at my newly decorated room. After I fell asleep that night, I made sure to wake up early morning to go on a run. Raven wanted out.

She had bonded great with Silas' wolf that I still don't know the name of and because he marked my wolf, she loved him deeply. Can't say I think the same.

She says he's much nicer than Silas. I don't know if I should believe her.

I then got a hold of some tools and got to work. Now I have square shelves in order on my walls full of books that I plan to read.

My bed is one of those that are on the floor and have stairs leading up to it. I have a chalkboard that I'm planning to write my plans on.

I have more things that just complete my room and make it look great!

Raven's begging for a fight, to unleash her anger out on someone. I plan to do exactly that.

I grab my chalk and write out neatly 'Join a Fighting lesson'.

I go through the hundreds of bags from the mall and spot the Nike and Adidas ones. I grab some Nike leggings and Nike trainer.

I wear an Adidas sports top and top it all off with a water bottle. Yup, I mixed Nike and Adidas up.

I remember when I bought my first pair of Nike trainers back when I was an Omega and I wore them whenever I went for a run with my hoodie and leggings. Then a few months later I bought a top and then some leggings.

I was out everyday for a run and I trained with a Rhea. We trained for an attack, if there ever would be one, and yes it wasn't the best, but it was enough. Enlighten o keep me alive as a rogue.

That's when I started perfecting my fighting skills. After the rogue attacked me, I decided that I needed to train. My Mom and Dad were really keen on training. They were health freaks and loved to fight together.

I remember watching them train. It's actually one of my first memories.

I smile at the old memory and grab the now full water bottle. I go back upstairs and knock on Lea's room.

I knock again when she doesn't reply.

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming! Can't you wait a bit? Impatient buttholes."

She swings the door open with full force and raises an eyebrow at my attire. "What you all dressed up for?"

"I wanted to go training, can you come with?"

She groans and leans against the doorframe. "Do I have to? I like my life as a potato. Training is too much effort."

"Trust me, I know how you feel. But Raven is begging for a fight, ya know, rogue and all. Come join, please? I'm sure your wolf wants you to train a bit."

She groans and rubs her face. "You're right. Okay, lemme just find some clothes to throw on and let me get Rhea and Isla to come as well. Might as well go as the team, right?"

I nod and I watch in fascination as her eyes glaze over. She mind links the two and I sigh, remembering when I used to mind link Rhea and my parents all the time.

"I can mind link Isla if you want me to?"

Isla, we are going to train, wanna come?

Urm, yeah, sure. I'll be at your room in about 10.

Okay.

"She said yeah. What about Rhea?"

"She said yeah as well. I'm gonna get changed now. You do whatever you wanna."

I nod and go back into my room. I flop onto my bed and roll over a few times, bored.

"ARGH!" I jump up, running straight towards the scream.

A little boy's on the floor, hand on his knee. His legs are in a v-shape and his brown hair is lightly over his eyes. He groans quietly and gets up, his full body height in view.

He's tiny!

"Hey there! Are you okay?"

He nods, his eyes filling with water. I hug him, rubbing his back. "Aw it's okay! You only had a small fall. It's okay! You know, big boys don't cry."

He nods fiercely, forcing a smile onto his face. "I'm a big boy! Mama says that I'm the man of the house!"

I grin, kissing his cheek. "Well then your Mama is right, isn't she?"

He smiles for real and hugs me. "My name is Alex, what's yours?" I smile st him, moving his hair out of his face.

"My name is Quinn. Nice to meet you Alex!"

"Qynn?"

I laugh at the adorable child and say my name slowly.

"Q U I N N."

His lips form in a 'o' and he nods. "Quinn. That's a confusing name. Can I just call you Red? Your hair is really cool."

I nod and smirk. "If you think my hair is cool, wait 'till you see my wolf."

"Quinn, where the hell are you?!"

I look behind and then back at the kid. "Well, that's my ticket to go. If I don't go now, she'll probably scream at me."

I stretch as I get off my knees and he attaches himself on them. "Don't worry, won't let anyone scream at you Red!"

"Okay! Okay!" I laugh and hug him.

"You're a great kid." He smiles and runs off.

"See you later Red!"

"See you Alex!"

How was that chapter? And Alex, what a cutie pie! Don't worry, we are going to be seeing a lot more of little Alex. And maybe, I will introduce you guys and Quinn to the Mother...

So I've got a Science test coming up, but it's not a GCSE - a really important test you take- it's just decently important. But my friends are mentally goi crazy and revising as if it is a GCSE and I'm not. Do you think I should?

It does determine whether I'll do double science (easier tests for the lower set) or triple sciences (higher tests for the 'smarter' people). It's a lot of topics and I don't think I remember them all.

I really have been trying but not as much as them. URGH, I don't even know why I'm stressing. I swear, it's my friends.
