knock knock knock...

inside the carriage there's a two girl's sitting on .....

one was a girl knight. who was holding  a sword in her hand...

and The other one was a girl in a beautiful blue dress....

the two girls look at the door of the carriage when they hear someone knocking....
the girl on the blue dress hide behind the back of the knight...
on the other hand the knight was holding her sword like she's ready to cut anyone who dare to open the door of the carriage.....

after a couple of seconds that the two didn't open the door......

the door of the carriage suddenly Burst open....

the knight was already about to swing her sword towards the one who opened the door..
but she suddenly stopped mid way.
when she see who was on the door of the carriage.....

the two girls see an middle aged man wearing an armor and holding a sword.. the middle aged man also has blood on his face and had a knife stabbed in his shoulder....

also the middle aged man was panting because of tiredness.....

the two girls both know the middle aged man.
especially the girl knight....

both the two girls quickly  called out the name of the middle aged man as soon as they see him...

"sir olgen!!"

" olgen sama "

both the girls said the name of the middle aged man with worries when they see the blood on his face and the knife that stabbed in his shoulder....

after olgen hear the two girls call his name with worries it make him smile......but olgen smile quickly disappear on his face and instead of answering the two girls who was worried about him...

olgen just raise hi hand two stop the two for asking.....

" there's no need for the to of you to worry about me.... I am just fine"

after saying that olgen look at the two girls and focus his gaze on the female knight.....

" Amelia"

upon hearing her name the female knight look at olgen...

" sir olgen?"

" we don't have time to waste I think we cannot hold them for to long.....I Know it's embarrassing to asked someone like your self to do this but........miss Amelia can you take young lady Olivia to run.."

" what are you saying olgen sama I will not leave you guys behind here."

the girl on the blue dress. Olivia suddenly enter the conversation when he heard what olgen just. said about her......

" I will not leav-"

"Olivia!!!!💢"

Olivia didn't finish what she was about to say because Amelia suddenly shout making her scared...

Olivia look on the face of Amelia..
she can clearly see that Amelia was looking at her very angry...
when Olivia see the look on the face of Amelia she quickly look at the floor of the carriage.....

after Amelia see that Olivia look on the floor and shut up she went back to look at olgen again....

" it's not an embarrassing task for me sir olgen were both knights.......I promise to you that I will keep young lady Olivia safe.even it's cost my life"

olgen smile bitterly when he heard Amelia..
but instead of saying anymore he just nodded his head....

when Amelia see olgen bow his head she also do the same thing....

"olgen sama!!"

Olivia call out to olgen again and she look at olgen with pleading eyes.....

but when olgen see the look on the face of Olivia he just smile and quickly shut the door.of the Carriage....

when the door closed Amelia quickly push Olivia to the side and grab the leather on the floor....

when the leather came of... there's a door on the carriage floor ......

Amelia quickly open the hidden door and look at Olivia......

" go now we're getting out of here while they are busy dealing with the soldiers.... Olivia?"

"Amelia no we canno-"

before Olivia can even finish what she's saying..

Amelia slap her in the face..

Olivia's left cheek quickly became red because on how strong Amelia's slap...

"ehh"

Olivia was dumbfounded on what just happened to her..she hold her left cheek witch Amelia just slap...

After Amelia slap Olivia..
she quickly grab Olivia's face holding both of her cheeks with her hand....

" you cannot stay in here Olivia sama....you will be just a burden to them if you tried to stay here......you cannot do anything"

" but??"

" Olivia sama!!!!!..….... please remember who do you think those soldiers are fighting for.."

Olivia look at Amelia who's holding and squishing her face....

" for m- me"

"yeah for you Olivia sama..........for your safety so if you stay in here. there sacrifices will be in vain.."

when Olivia hear Amelia she closed her eyes and tears fall down on her face coming from her closed eyes....

after a couple of seconds Olivia open his eyes and remove Amelia's hand on her face....

when Amelia see what's happening she smile....
but her like last time quickly disappear .......

" now let's go Olivia sama"

upon saying that Amelia get out to the door...

Olivia follow suit to Amelia and also get out...

then after getting out of the door the two of them was under the carriage...

they quickly crawl to get out under  the carriage.....

when the two of them successfully get out of the carriage ....

Amelia quickly grab Olivia by the hand and started running through the forest...
Amelia didn't even spare a second to look on what happening in their surrounding and just quickly run with Olivia.....

on the other hand Olivia who's being dragged by Amelia also didn't say anything and didn't look at her surrounding.....and let herself be dragged by Amelia....

while they are running they keep  Hearing the battle happening out side of the carriage they can hear the sword that clashing at each other.....and they can also heard the screaming of the people in pain.....

when Olivia hear the screams she just close her eyes and just continue to follow Amelia...

on the other hand Amelia just continue to run with out changing her expression...she also not affected by the scream of others and instead just focus on getting far away from the carriage as far as possible.........

after 30 minutes of running away from the battle and the carriage...

Amelia stopped from running and dragging Olivia through the forest...

when Amelia stopped Olivia's knee give up so she sits on the ground not caring if her beautiful blue dress got dirty......

on the other hand Amelia was panting while surveying their surrounding intensely......

when Amelia was sure that there's no one was following them..

she look at Olivia who's sitting on the ground unbecoming of a noble..she was also catching her breathing.......

" Olivia sama......I Know that your very tired right now. and you want to rest for to long..but we are only going to rest here for just 3 minutes.....we still need to be far away from here...."

" I understand..."

Olivia answer with out looking at Amelia..

" Olivia sama let's go now"

after 3 minutes of resting Amelia reach her hand towards Olivia who's still sitting on the ground full of  sweat...

when Olivia see the hand of Amelia  that reaching towards her..

she quickly grab it and stand up even she still feeling tired.....

" okay let's go"

after that the two of them continue on running through the forest.....

" Amelia where exactly are we going?"

Olivia who's still tired and running ask Amelia...
she was curious on where will they go now......

" I don't know Olivia sama....all I know is that we have to get very far away from the carriage..........."

" I see but this forest is very dangerous you know that...... we might encounter monster on our way"

Amelia look back at Olivia who's looking at her for an answer...

Amelia just smile and continue look forward...

" it's fine I would rather taking my chances on fighting monster than fighting those guys"

Olivia was stunned on Amelia's answer....

" are those guys really that strong.?"

" yeah they are.......they are not bandits who came to attack us for money..."

" not bandits.....then what are they?."

" you see Olivia sama they are very strong and smart trained assassin's...........they might be in a assassin's guild in the capital.......and clearly there target was you Olivia sama"

" assassin's guild ha.......if only we can catch one of them. then we can ask on who sent them ?"

" well I doubt that even if we managed to catch one they will not speak. Even we torture them.........and capturing one is less on our worries. what matters right now is that we can get very far away from the carriage"

" I see......well if we somehow manage to find out who did this to me I will make them regret this"

" same here Olivia sama If I find out the people who hired those assassin's.........I will cut them in half if I see them........ that's why we have to run far away from the carriage as much as possible...so that we can survive and find the culprit someday"

after saying there peace of mind at each other they stopped talking and just focus on running much more faster.......

after running another 30 minutes again Amelia look at Olivia who's was still running but look very tired and was about to collapse any second now........

Amelia stopped from running when she noticed Olivia's condition.....

" w-why we stop Amelia..........I can still continue to run..."

Olivia said while breathing heavily and sweating buckets...... making her beautiful blue dress soaked in sweat....

Amelia look at Olivia with a bitter smile at her face.....and look around at their surrounding....

" we don't have to run anymore Olivia sama.............. it's look like running away from them was futile after all........tsk💢"

Amelia draw her sword from her scabbard and stand up in front of olivia.in a battle stance

" eh what are saying?"

Olivia despite on being tired quickly stand up fast on Amelia's suddenly action.......

" they are already here!!"

Olivia was shock to hear Amelia...
so she peek on where Amelia was looking...
then she see some group of man came out of the trees and shadow.............

Amelia and Olivia see a 20 men who's wearing black outfits.and have a black mask covering their faces.........

When Olivia see the guys on black clothes she already knows that these are the people who attacked their carriage.....

Amelia push Olivia to her back so that she can protect her properly for the upcoming attack's.....

" what already tired of running?"

Amelia and Olivia look on where the voice come from..

then they see one of the guys step out of the group..

he was wearing a white cloth on his face unlike the others who was wearing black clothes on their faces.....

when Amelia and Olivia see the guy the two of them already know that the guy was probably the leader of the group......

" hahhhaha..........did you really think that those measly soldiers can hold us of..so that the two of you can run away..."

"you!!💢"

Olivia clench his fist in anger on what the guy just said about those soldier's who buy time for them.....

Amelia just didn't react to the guy statement and just focus on the their movements.......

"hahahaha..........to bad for you Amelia Willam your stuck with that girl with you.........if you just leave that girl behind in the carriage maybe you can run away from us by your own....but instead you choose to run carrying a dead weight with you..."

" shut up 💢💢"

Amelia clench Olivia's arm that she's holding and focus on her surrounding.......

Olivia look at the hand that holding her hand and bit down on her lips....
she was frustrated that the guy in black clothe was right.. about her becoming a being a dead weight and holding back Amelia....

" hahahaha to think we will have the chance to kill another big shot like you here....... Amelia William...or so called one of the 5 swords of the  magic academy.....to think someone like you to be here is amazing........hmmmmm how about this you cannot defeat us in your current condition...so how about abandoned that woman and join us I promise to you that my men will not do anything to you.... your talented at young age it's a waste for someone like you to just die here after all"

after the leader of the group said that he extended both of his arms towards to Amelia waiting for her come towards him and hug her.......

when Amelia see the gesture of the leader of the group her face was full of contempt and disgust towards the leader of the group.....
she look at Olivia who's look like she was about to say something stupid like she should abandoned her and go....

'stupid'

Amelia quickly look away  at Olivia before even Olivia say something to her....

Amelia look at the leader of the group again who's still extending his arms towards her...

Amelia just smile ☺️ widely and ready her sword and just utter one word.....

"die"

when the leader of the group hear Amelia.

he slowly put down both of his arms and his face was full of disappointment......

the leader of the group shake his head saying that Amelia make a wrong choice......

" is that so...then you leave me no choice"

upon saying that the leader of the assassin's group gesture to his subordinate using his hand

when the other assassin's see there leader give the signal...

they slowly walking towards the two girls on the tree

when Amelia see that the group of assassin's slowly started walking towards to their direction she strongly gripped the hilt of her sword...and resolve herself that she will quickly cut down or killed whoever come near her sword strike zone...

"Amelia!!"

Amelia hear Olivia shouted behind on her back but she didn't look on her and instead just look and focus on her enemies....she thought that maybe Olivia was just trying to persuade her to abandoned her so Amelia just ignore her....

but Amelia quickly lost her focus when he see that her enemies who's slowly approaching them suddenly stopped moving...even she cannot see there facial expressions Amelia still can see in there eyes that her enemies was shock....

Amelia started to get anxious on what's suddenly happening....then she felt that there's someone tugging on her shoulder so she quickly look at the one who's tugging on her shoulder

after quickly looking at the the tugging on her  she see Olivia who's holding her shoulder and looking at somewhere while pointing her finger.....

Amelia follow Olivia's gaze and her finger...
then she see like a big circle of black smoke near Olivia...

when  Amelia see the black smoke she quickly hold Olivia's hand that resting on her shoulder and quickly dragged Olivia near her side...

after doing that Amelia quickly shifted her gaze towards the group of assassin's but she was surprised on what she see...

Amelia thought that this was the work of the assassin's group but she can see clearly that it didn't....

she can see that the group of assassin's step back away a little bit and became anxious because of the black smoke......

Amelia also see that the leader of the group of assassin's was also anxious on what's happening.....

Amelia then look towards Olivia who's still looking at the circle black smoke....she also look back at the circle black smoke near them...
she didn't notice it earlier because she was shock but Amelia notice now that the black circle of smoke was as tall of the on height and it also very wide.....

upon seeing this Amelia squinted her eyes on black smoke...

Amelia was not very good with magic and she was more well versed on swordsmanship...but she clearly feel the strong wave of magic that coming from the black smoke....even she knows that no matter what it is this black smoke was dangerous........so she thought that they should run away using this situation while the other party was dealing with the current situation......but despite that Amelia body didn't move no matter what she do.......she just look at the black smoke like Olivia and their enemies.....

Amelia felt in herself for some reason that if they run away from the black smoke they will die ......

she then look towards the assassin's group who was anxious on what they should do now...

Amelia then look at the black smoke and erase the thought of running away from here.....

she think that's it more logical to stay near on the black smoke because.. Amelia thought that the group of assassin's was more dangerous than the black smoke....

Amelia didn't feel any danger on the black smoke even through it emits strong wave of magic......

but what make her sure that it was not dangerous was because the black smoke didn't do anything towards then even through she and Olivia was close to it....

Amelia smile internally she thought that she can use the black smoke to bluff her way  to this situation.......

" Amelia!!!!!"

but when Amelia was in her deep thoughts of scheming she suddenly heard Olivia shouted again and tugged on her shoulder....

she then look on the black smoke instead of Olivia who's also looking at the black smoke.........
