You Are Dangerous
A/N: Hey there Awesomers. I just wanted to tell you that this poem collection will be containing 12 poems, three of which have already been published. The last one would be on anxiety (I know, kinda a downer) but other than that, there's no series.
I wrote some of these a year ago and I wrote some of these a night ago, so yeah.
Anyway, enjoy and comment.

If I could
I'd take back the moment when:
sunlight fell on your face
to make it visible to my eyes,
and all that science of reflection.
Because, you know,
you're perfect.
I'd ask you to cover your face back up,
or to the sun to not shine at all.
I'd unsee those golden glints in your unconventional hair;
and your eyes
that squint way too much.
I'd make you
less dangerous to me,
and in turn;
myself less lethal to me.
I'd make the clocks go off
and make myself step back from—
your smile.
Your smile when
your lips thin,
and your face wrinkles,
and your eyes squint even more;
and you're, you know,
perfect.
