Once you start to hear screams and shouts,

You might wonder what are we talking about

You can hear cries inside
You see me try to hide

Actually, I just don't want to be part of what's inside

But by the next day,
Looking at me

You see bruises and wounds
They look like more than 3

But you can't blame them
I'm already used to it

But by the end of the day,
I try to take the pain away

So if you see those scars one more time,

Just know that only some are not mine.
