Apne ateet ke boj ko lekar
Saalon se tanha jee rahi thi
Shareer pe lage zakhmon ko dekhkar
Akele rehna seh rahi thi

Din ke bhaag- daud mein
Andar toote aatma pe dhyaan na jaye
Par Raat ki khamoshi mein
Yeh zakhm ateet se phir waaqif karaye

Tanhaai meri saathi
Dard mera humdum
Akele jeena meri kismat mein likha
Yeh maan baithe the hum

Phir ek din tu aaya zindagi mein
Ek anjaan ajnabi
Phir bhi tere saath hone se
Dil ko ajeeb si rahat mili

Kabhi na khola tha apna naqaab
Kisi ke saamne ya kisi ke liye bhi
Par tere saamne, na jaane kyun
Yeh naqaab khud-ba-khud khul gayi

I opened up to you
Even without intending to
I showed you my inner part
That which I hid from everyone

You understood me
Like no one else did
Everytime I needed someone
You were there for me

Words were never required
You understood me just like that
Knowingly unknowingly
You became a part of everything in my life

When you came in my life, you changed it completely.
My empty life was filled with your warmth and company.
Then we fell in love gradually.
And now we're inseperable
United by destiny!

Okay, this is the first time I have written an Hinglish poem as in, a poem which has both Hindi and English in it! 😅
