Core
Hi guys! Okay so I just published a sequel to this story, named Core. Anyone interested can go check it out! (I can't guarantee that it is any good though.)
This story is about Caelum and Vongola First Generation, sets around 1800s in France in the first few chapters and Italy afterwards. (I've set the First Generation's era around the 1600s in this story at first but to match the timeline with the beginning of Cosa Nostra, I changed it. Sorry about that.)
Summary;
His life was peaceful. His family was ever growing, increasing in number as day passed. He was happy, satisfied with his peaceful and slightly mundane life. He loved his peaceful and mundane life. Just as things couldn't get any better, Fate decided to rob everything from him, shattering his happiness, his sole reason to live.
And Fate decided a path for him that turned his world upside-down, for the better and the worst.
And, well, I kind of feel bad about posting this chapter just to advertise its sequel, so here's a small drabble, which I've not posted up for who knows what reason. (I don't remember.)

The rings Ryuuichi wore were nothing but important to him. It was his life, he would say. The first ring he had ever wore was the symbol of the beginning of his journey, the Historian Ring. It led him into a lot of mayhem and shenanigans which he would rather do without, but he still had the time of his life. He wouldn't trade it for his soul. (Well, to be exact, it wouldn't even leave his soul anyway.)
The second and/ or third ring was the Vongola and Cavallone's. These rings were wore the least frequent, because he had made himself known to the underground where he stood at times, even though it was confusing as heck. He would only wear it if he was ever on a mission for one of the Famiglia.
The last ring he had, was the one he loved the most. It wasn't the Historian ring, of course, no. It was this plain, simple silver ring. No one knew how he got it, or who gave it to him, but it was a huge giveaway since he wore it on his ring finger. There were questions thrown around about it, and bets even, but all of them knew who gave it to him. It was as obvious as daylight. (After all, Ryuuichi had all but stared lovingly at the ring and kissed it once or twice when he thought he was alone.)
It was the only ring that Ryuuichi would treasure greatly, and fight those who said anything about it. The only one that Ryuuichi had never ever taken off after receiving it.
(If anyone noticed a matching ring that Hibari wore on his ring finger, they said nothing about it. They treasure their lives after all.)

A/N= I actually posted this on my wall that one time because I needed an outlet, or so it seemed.

Tsuna had never liked school nor morning. He loathed the thought of waking up to face another day of jeers and bullies. But that was all before Reborn came into his life like a storm and promptly turned his life upside down. He was woken up by the hitman in various of crazy ways, his crazy friends keeping him company and his family filled his life with noises and colors. He came to like morning, where his family will be with him.
And he love how alive everyone is.
"Tsuna, Yato, Takeshi. Good morning." They turned around to see Ryuuichi with his back pack slung onto the other side of his shoulder, not the injured one, smiling at them. They grinned back just as bright.
"Good morning, Ryuuichi!."
The said teen fell into a similar pace as them easily, walking beside them to school. "Are you sure you're well enough?" Tsuna asked, noticing how Ryuuichi was being careful with a leg of his.
"Yep. I'm dying in boredom in my house, and my parents finally allowed it."
Ryuuichi then sweated and quickly shifted to the side to avoid Gokudera's grabby hands. "Yato, what are you trying to do?" He slowly backed away, walking backwards as the bomber stalked towards him.
"Trying to carry you to school, obviously."
"There was no need for that!" Yamamoto laughed and immediately joined in. "There's a need for it, Ryuuichi! You're still healing after all." Ryuuichi yelped and tried to make a run for it when Tsuna held onto his waist. "Damn it! Not you too!"

A/N= This is... I don't exactly remember when I wrote this? This is probably for the Trapped arc but I don't know.

Ryuuichi occasionally disliked the ten years bazooka the Bovino Famiglia had created. He was irritated with the fact that they had let a five years old kid have it without even a little ounce of logic and thinking. Like, it is theoretically impossible for a five years old to comprehend how dangerous and how it shouldn't be played around with.
Or it is technically impossible to keep the grabby hands of the geniuses away from that purple, interesting and fascinating bazooka. When they managed to get their hands on it, it either broke and create chaos, or broke and create chaos. Really.
Which was why Ryuuichi managed to land himself in the past instead of the future. Specifically, about 200 years back. He kid you not, he actually went back to the First Historian and Vongola Primo's era by falling from the sky. Literally. He had actually landed on top of Daemon Spade. Of all people, he just had to crush him because of the gravity pull.
"I'm so sorry!" He quickly scrambled off the man and stayed at least five meters away from him, sticking closer to Caelum instead. "Who the heck are you?" He blinked at G., who looked as though he was torn between laughing loudly at Daemon and tearing him into pieces because he had just trespassed their turf, by appearing out of nowhere.
"U-umm." He sweated. There was no way he could tell them the truth. Not like they would believe it anyway. That, and he really didn't want to change the past. Things have been shitty enough. He didn't need it to get worst.
He peered up at Caelum when he realized that the ginger was staring at him with something flashing in his metallic blue eyes. Caelum tilted his head, still staring, before turning to Giotto and G, and the rest. "Could you guys leave him to me?" Ryuuichi jolted in attention at that. 'What?'
"Are you sure, Caelum?" The said man nodded, ignoring how Alaude was glaring at Ryuuichi. Instead, he helped him up and brought him away from the others' earshot without a word. And by that, he meant literally the opposite side of the huge Vongola mansion.
"Can you tell me where do you come from?"
Ryuuichi blinked again. "You're not going to ask me who I am?" Caelum shrugged. "I've a little idea, but not really."
"... Japan? But I'm currently living in Sicily." Caelum nodded. "You're from the future, aren't you?" Ryuuichi stiffen. "Oh don't worry. I won't tell the rest. To be honest, there was once I had a dream of you. I don't can't see it clearly, but I did dreamed of you. Only for a moment, that is." The other hummed for a moment, thinking. "Probably when I was younger.. Much younger...." His voice faltered for a moment. He shook himself out of his reverie and asked again.
"What's your name?"
"Ryuuichi." He nodded. "I'm Caelum." He stared with a blank, curious face. Ryuuichi couldn't help but be unnerved of it. "Is there something wrong?"
Caelum blinked. "No. I'm just wondering how you managed to come here.. Did anyone in the future made a time machine?"
"Ahh.. In a sense, yes..?" Much to Ryuuichi's surprise, Caelum frowned. The man sighed. "A time machine. Really. Things like this shouldn't be made.." He gnawed his bottom lips, concern about the future. If anything goes wrong, the whole world might be destroyed. It was a common sense, but apparently, humans remained stupid even after all these years. Well, most of the humans. He could tell that Ryuuichi didn't particularly liked it as well.
(Little did he know, the world was almost destroyed once, courtesy of a certain Marshmellow Freak. And Ryuuichi only liked it when it was working well and normal. Oh if only you knew, Caelum.)
"Perhaps.." He raised an eyebrow at Ryuuichi. "I mean, if it's broken, yes, it'll be dangerous. But if it isn't, it brings hope for people, don't you think? Even if it's just for a moment." Caelum was surprised somehow. Pleasantly, if he would say so himself. He chuckled and nodded. "I guess."
"Caelum." They both turned to the newcomer, Ryuuichi tensed up as Caelum tilted his head. "What's wrong, Alaude?" Alaude narrowed his eyes at Ryuuichi for a split second. Ryuuichi sweated and inched away a little. 'What did I do?' He then realized that this Alaude was slightly different than the Alaude he had met years ago. Well, the one he met years ago was technically dead, while this was still alive.
"You were gone for too long." Ryuuichi furrowed his eyebrows. Now that he think about it, it should have been more than five minutes. He palmed himself in the face and sighed inaudibly. 'Thank you very much, Giannini, Spanner, Shoichi.' (In the future, the three sneezed as they frantically tried to find a way to bring Ryuuichi back, with Hibari getting murderous and menacing each second.)
"It's not that long." Caelum gestured to Ryuuichi with a small smile. "This is Ryuuichi. He's.. Lost, apparently, and came in here by accident."
"That doesn't explain how he literally dropped from the sky." He laughed and shrugged, not continuing with his lie. Technically, it was half a lie since Ryuuichi wasn't lost. In a sense. "Anyway, he's no one but a guest. Please don't try to maim him and show him some hospitality." Ryuuichi gaped as Alaude twitched.
With a huff, Alaude walked away just as the rest came over. G. found it slightly amusing how the Cloud didn't try to slaughter the intruder, though it was unsettling.
"Cael, what's going on?" Ryuuichi jerked slightly when he noticed how Giotto was staring at him. Asari was staring as well, but at least his stare wasn't as intense as Giotto's. There was only one thing that could explain this. Giotto's goddamn Hyper Intuition. He could probably never get used to it, despite Tsuna's almost the same at times.
"A guest, G.. A guest. Stop trying to scare him." Caelum's smile seemed to widen even more upon seeing the familiar glint in Giotto's eyes. Their eyes locked for a moment before Giotto turned back to Ryuuichi with a smile of his own. "Well then, if Caelum says so. Welcome, young man. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here." He reached out a hand for him to shake.
Ryuuichi took it, with internal cringes as Giotto was definitely younger than him in this situation. Though, it still doesn't hide the fact that Giotto was 200 years older than him. Or more. "Thank you. I'm Ryuuichi."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N= I had trashed this idea because I've absolutely no idea how to make it not-cringey nor do I know how to continue it after that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuuichi stared at his brother, who was typing furiously on his laptop opposite him. He himself was using his own laptop as well, both were doing an individual assignment. It was an English assignment, and the topic was merely one word; Unimaginable. What kind of topic that was, Yuuichi don't know and had no idea what to write. His brother seemly to have a lot though, seeing that he had been typing on his computer for so long. (He was sure that it was a five hundred words assignment, but Ryuuichi had passed two thousand.)
He sighed and looked at his laptop screen, not a single word written. He didn't like English. Everything was so confusing with the noun, the past, present and future tenses and the placement of the sentence. He envy his brother being so good at it. He squinted his eyes on the screen, as though daring it to type itself.
He kicked Ryuuichi on the shin under the table, jolting his older brother.
Ryuuichi yelped at the sudden kick and winced. He half-heartedly glared at Yuuichi. "Something wrong?"
Yuuichi huffed, pouting. "Word count?" He twitched when his brother blinked at him. "Umm. 2999?"
"Just how many ideas do you have?!" Ryuuichi laughed sheepishly. He looked back at his assignment and sweated. He should have just, write a short one. What he wrote was quite inappropriate, in a way. Sighing, he saved the file and closed his laptop. "My brain is going to explode.."
He kicked Yuuichi's shin in return when his brother snorted at him, only to miss and hit the chair leg. "And you?"
"Zero."
He sweated again. Just what was his brother doing during the one hour period? He reached over and closed Yuuichi's laptop as well. "Let's... Do it later." Yuuichi nodded and they both stayed in silent. Their parents were out, probably dating, and it was a weekend. At first they thought of finishing their school works, but that thought just fell into the gutter since none of them was in the mood.
Or, Ryuuichi was, but he went overboard and was overheating.
Yuuichi glanced at the calendar on the counter, eyes zooming onto a certain date. "Are you giving anything to Hibari for Valentine's Day?"
Ryuuichi choked on his saliva and coughed, sitting upright. "Hah?" Yuuichi raised an eyebrow at the confused look on him as he, too, turned to the calendar. "You forgotten?"
Ryuuichi frowned at the date. Two days before Valentine's Day. He and Yuuichi used to dread it since Yuuichi's fans were creepy and scary. Not to mention they seemed to took interest in Ryuuichi as well, and made it really really obvious. Ryuuichi was officially afraid of them. He shuddered when he remembered last year's escape.
"It's not that I forgotten it or what, it's just that.. I never really care about it." He rubbed the back of his neck. "And I don't want to think about it."
Yuuichi blanked out for a moment, understanding what Ryuuichi had said. He was the same, actually. Those girls were just.. Too much. He had once overheard a senior saying that she put her hair into the chocolate and wanted to give to him. He was lucky that he overheard, or he might be broken. (He won't. Ryuuichi wouldn't let them.)
"But things changed. You're dating Hibari now." He rolled his eyes at the small red hue forming on Ryuuichi's cheeks. "He might want your chocolate, you know."
Ryuuichi deadpanned. "I can't cook or bake. You know that."
"I'm not telling you to make them. Even I don't want to see the disaster you would create." He laughed when Ryuuichi tried to swipe at his head, missing by an inch. "I mean, you can buy them. Limited edition chocolate or something."
Ryuuichi sighed, leaning against his propped up hand. "I'll think about it." A small smirk formed on his lips. "What about you? Are you going to give anything to anyone, or just receive?"
"Neither." He chuckled, a bit shaky. "Your fangirls sure is crazy." He shook his head and hummed. "But if it's from the girl from 1-B?" It was Yuuichi's turned to blush. "W-what about her?"
Ryuuichi's smirk widen. "If she was the one who give you chocolate?" He snickered at how his brother avoided his eyes. There was this junior, who Yuuichi frequently bumped into since his brother was a member of the basketball team. Ryuuichi had seen her before, and had seen how Yuuichi reacted around her when he watched their practice once.
What was her name again? Ryuuichi can't remember.
"D-don't know."
"You like her, don't you~" He teased, finding Yuuichi absolutely adorable with how fidgety he was. Yuuichi sputtered and looked at him with wide eyes. "H-how did you-"
"I'm your brother, aren't I?" Yuuichi frowned at him and grumbled. "Says the one who don't even realize that he likes Hibari.."
Ryuuichi made an exaggerated movement. "So I'm dense. I can't help it, can I?" "Ah. So you know you're dense. Good. Congratulation." He reached over to punch Yuuichi again, hitting him on the shoulder this time. They narrowed their eyes at each other before bursting out into laughter.
"Let's just-" Yuuichi snickered. "Get out and have some fresh air." Ryuuichi coughed at how hard he was laughing, nodding.
