"So I see...wait a minute." Souji's father stated before leaving the room. Souji and Ian looked at each other. He then came back with a check. 

"This is the money I and your mom save for you in the future. It is roughly 100,000 yen. You could take it." Souji's father said. 

"Hontou?" Souji asked in shocked. 

"(Your mother's name) -san safety should be put in the front line right now. But of course, I couldn't let Y/N keep running around and overworking herself." his father explained. 

"Overworking herself? What do you mean Rippukan-san?" Ian asked. 

Souji looked his father. "I know for a while that (Your father's name)-san's debt is causing them trouble after losing contacts with Y/N and her mother. I'll try to search for them and reach out with your mother's help." 

"Kaa-san also know about it? How come you guys didn't tell me?" Souji asked in surprise and a little bit angry. 

"You were in school and busy with your own fights. Besides, even if you know, you can't help her." Souji's father explained. 

"But still---" Souji was protested but Ian stopped him. Souji's father continued the story. 

"When we were able to contact Y/N, (your mother's name) - san was already held as a hostage. Y/N refused our help saying that she could handle it herself." Souji's father explained. 

"We've got in contact with the debtor as well...without Y/N's knowing it....and told them to give her time. They didn't agree to our condition thus while Y/N is overworking herself." 

"You contacted them before? Do you still have their numbers?" Ian asked. Souji's father nodded, taking out a small piece of paper, and handed it to Ian. 

"Here's their numbers. I'm not sure if they changed it or not. But you guys could give it a try." Souji's father said. 

"Roger that. I'll make sure they released Aunt (Your mother name)." Souji stated.

Ian and Souji were back at their usual cafe. Souji was about to call the debtor but Ian stopped him. 

"Wait Boy-yah, even if you call them now, do you think they will agree to release the hostage or lead us to the right place?" Ian reminded Souji. 

Souji paused and thought about it. "What do we do then?" Souji asked. 

"Don't worry. I already called for an assistant." Ian smiled. Souji looked at him confusedly. Entering the shop was a familiar face. 

"Yayoi-san?" Souji said. 

"Sorry, I'm late." Yayoi said, placing all her equipment down. Ian rushed to help. 

"arigato." she smiled at him. Ian winked back and handed her a daisy. But as always she ignored him. 

"I heard you need to track some enemies down. Who are they?" Yayoi asked Souji. 

"Ahh....you see...it's more like..." Souji stuttered trying to find the right words. Because he knew you would be more furious at him if more people knew. 

Ian recovered from his rejected state and help Souji explained. Yayoi nodded. 

"Well then, let's proceed. But I'm surprised...I thought you had that girl..was it Rin?" Yayoi stated. 

"Rin is out of town for a week. and besides...Y/N is just my childhood friend. We're like brother and sister." Souji groaned. 

"Sure. But I see sign that you are more compatible with Y/N-san than Rin." Yayoi said, typing on her laptop. 

Ian chuckled while Souji just rolled his eyes. 

"But wait...how did you even get her information?" Souji asked. 

"She's quite well known in (your school). Representing them in various of competitions before totally disappearing from the competition world." Yayoi said showing them the page. 

Souji and Ian were surprised at the information. 

"Oh my! Name-chan is famous!" Ian gasped. 

Souji felt proud at you but sad at the time. Because he knew that the debts you have to pay were the reasons you withdrew from the competition worlds.  He then remembers when he asked about the money...So she used the money she won to pay the debts. 

"Should we proceed then?" Yayoi asked, causing Souji to snap out of his thought. 

"Yeah. Yeah we should." Souji said.  

Ian read at the numbers as Souji begin to dial it. 

The line rung for a while before someone picked it up. 

"Who are you?" the voice hissed through the phone. 

Ian, Yayoi and Souji eyed each other before Souji speak up. 

"I am an acquaintance of L/N Y/N." Souji stated. 

"L/N Y/N's acquaintance?" the voice repeated as if it was trying to remember. 

"Oh...what do you want then? We already told you we are not extending her period of payment." the voice grumbled. 

"You got it wrong. We want to pay the rest of the amount she owed." Souji explained. 

"You wanted to pay for her? Okay." the voice stated. Souji was taken back at the immediate reply. 

"I'll text you the location la--" the voice was about to said but Souji interrupted him. 

"Wait. Where's Y/N-mother?" 

"That girl mother? She's with us. Pay the money then we will release her." the voice said sternly. 

"How do we know if you won't take back your words?" Ian added in. 

"It's either you pay up for that girl or that girl pay for us. Your choice. We just want our money back. We don't kill for a living." the voice hastily replied. 

Yayoi nodded confirming their hideout. 

"Fine. but let us hear Y/N's mother's voice to make sure she is safe." Souji stated. 

The voice sighed before putting the phone next to a familiar voice. 

"Y/N-chan? It's that you...don't worry about mama. You should leave me be and just live your life." Y/N's mother said. 

"Aunt (Y/N's mother name) it's me Souji. Don't worry. I'll get you back safe and sound." Souji stated. 

"sou-chan? Y/N with you? That's good to hear but you don't---" Y/N's mother's voice was cut off. 

"There ya go. Now you good?" the voice stated. 

"Okay. Send us the place. We dropped the money." Souji stated. 

"One more thing. Only you are allowed to come. If you call the cop, don't blame me if I take back my words." and the call ended. 

"We got them," Yayoi said. 

"What should we do now?" Ian asked, looking at Souji. 

'I'll go by myself." Souji said. 

"But that's too dangerous!" Yayoi reasoned. 

"that's the only way!" Souji stated back. Ian looked at Souji. 

"Alright," Ian said. 

"Ian-san," Yayoi warned him. 

"Don't worry. We can stay close by and transformed immediately if he need help." Ian explained. 

Yayoi saw the determination and gave up in the argument. 

"Fine," she stated. 

Ding! Souji's phone received a message. 

"Look like they sent us the location." Souji skimmed the message. 

"Okay. Operation To Save Name-chan's mom is on the roll!" Ian stated. Souji looked at the picture of you and him on his home screen.
