Y/N's POV 

We've reached Sou-chan's house. It felt so nostalgic. It is like a ticket back to our childhood days. When we were so close. But now, I felt like it drifting away by the minute. 

"Here's your room," he stated, I quickly snapped out of my thought. 

"Umm...thanks. Where's your dad? I need to say hi to him. It's been such a long time." I said. He chuckled. 

"Don't worry. He out for some business thingy. He'll be back a few days. I called him earlier and he stated you are welcome to stay as long as you want. He couldn't wait to see you." he explained. 

"Wai--So---what are we going to eat for dinner?" I asked, almost slipping out the embarrassing question, So is going to be the two of us alone in the house?

"You are that hungry?" he teased. I blushed. 

"O-of co-course not. I was scared that we might have to live with an empty stomach with your horrible cooking skill." I stuttered. 

"My cooking skill ain't that terrible." he protested, putting my luggage in the closet. 

We sat down on the ground. 

"Are you sure? I remembered you almost burned down my kitchen once." I teased, recalling that memory. 

He pouted. He looks so cuteeee! I screamed in my mind. 

Souji's POV

I smiled as I noticed she started to open up more. N/N looked so depressed earlier that it killed me. I wondered what happened to her during those years in ( a country). 

"So really, what's for dinner?" she asked me. 

"Hmm...let's see...do you want to eat takoyaki?" I suggested. Her face lits up. I chuckled as I saw how excited she was with this suggestion. 

Normal POV 

"Let's do it!" you stated, "Race you to the kitchen!" you challenged as you took off. 

"Hey! No fair!" Souji stated, chasing after you. 

"Sou-chan loses!" you announced as Souji walked to the kitchen. Souji pinched your nose. 

"Well, cause someone cheated," you stated calmly. Souji opened the refrigerator door and took out all the necessary ingredients. 

"Let's get started," Souji said. You nodded. 

They were both having fun with each other. But then the fun moment was interrupted by none others, Rin. 

"Souji-kun! I brought dinner!" She called. Rin walked in the kitchen and saw Souji with you having fun without noticing her presence. 

She fumed and coughed to get your attention. You both looked up at her. 

"Oh, hi Rin." Souji said. He could Rin's aura towards you. 

"Don't hi me." she angrily stated. Rin stomped toward Souji and pointing her fingers at you. 

"Who is this girl anyway?" she demanded to know. You could sense the tension. 

"Hi, Rin. Long time no see." You broke the silence. 

"Do I even know you?" Rin stated, scanning you.

"It's Y/N." Souji stated. He hated the way Rin is scanning you like you were a criminal or something. 

"And what are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to knock before barging in my house." Souji stated. 

"Well...couldn't I visit you? I'm your girlfriend after all." Rin emphasized. She put the dinner on the counter and clung on Souji. Her eyes were glaring at you. 

You just shook your head. You tried to show no expression, but inside you were heartbroken. So I guess it's true.

Souji annoyingly shook off Rin's grasp. 

"Okay. I got your dinner. Now please leave." he stated. Rin glared at Souji. 

"What do you mean leave? I ain't leaving when there's only you and Y/N in the house," she stated. 

"What do you mean you won't? Me and Y/N are long time friends. What are you even thinking?" Souji stated. 

"Who knows? What if she- no offense Y/N- try to make a move on you?" Rin stated. 

"You-" Souji wanted to argue back but you interrupted in. 

"Would you like to join us for dinner then? We are making takoyaki." you invited, trying to get Souji out of this uncomfortable situation. 

"Sure! See, Y/N don't mind." Rin turned back to her cheery side. You went and handed Rin an extra apron. 

Souji stood aside, observing your action. He knows you were hurt by what Rin said. I have to get a talk with Y/N soon. 

So what do you guys think? 

Sorry, I kinda make Rin kinda meanish in this story. I'll admit that I don't like her characters at all. But I respect any SoujixRin shipper. But again, this story is Souji x Reader. So you might expect a breakup...or not...in this story.
