It's been months since the Protectors newbies joined but everyone in the guild could tell Relena didn't want to get close, going on quests, constant training and checking the village guard of Phoenix once a month, helping the people whenever she can but right now it's been weeks since Relena has been spotted the grand magic games opening night festival party, was on this evening, when the Protectors Guild heard someone running into the hall, confused they went to check it out, to see Relena with blood dripping from her face, legs and her wings breathing heavy, the Protectors Guild ran towards their most distant, closed off member

Lo'pho-"what happened Relena?"

Kay-"where were you?"

Bri-"how, what attacked you?"

Questions, among questions were said whilst in the infirmary with Lo'pho patching/healing Relena's injuries

Relena-"I went to my village to find these nests with theses creatures that have been trapping villagers, then whilst trying to clean the nests away dark wizards ambushed me, I was lucky to escape and so I came to get help"

Bri and Lo'pho were shocked why were the dark wizards attacking the village

Bri-"why were the dark wizards there?" she asked in a very slow but serious tone it made the tension rise

Relena-"I'm not sure, my guest is that they planted those creatures there but they kept trying to capture me or get something from me I'm not sure *Relena stands up and starts walking* well if you want to help follow me"

Lo'pho-"your injured you should be resting!"

Bri-"Lo'pho is right Relena you shouldn't be fighting"

Relena-"I know the way and this is my village, I'm the head guard, if you think that I'll rest whilst I know people, the people I swore to protect, who are getting hurt, your wrong, now if your coming to help me, then come on" leaving the guild hall the door closes

Bryan-"well since we can't stop Relena, you know join her, I'm all fired up!" he said running to catch up to Relena

Kay-"come on Jakey lets go help" she grabbed Jakey dragging him to catch up

Jakey-"kay! fine come on Oliver" the small adorable bean followed the other 2 beans that were catching up to Relena and Bryan

Lo'pho-"there not trained enough to fight dark wizards!"

Bri-"come on Lo'pho, us two need to make sure they don't get hurt after we'll tell the other guilds about this, right now we need to make sure none of them get hurt or die"

Lo'pho-*sigh*"fine lets go" the 2 followed the group to see Relena talking to the other three

Relena-"when we arrive at the village we'll need to split up into 2 groups to tackle and destroy each nest and make sure to carefully free the villagers and make sure they escape to the woods around the village whilst we clear these things out if dark wizards are still there send a signal into the sky so then the other group can come and help"

It was a good plan, Bri and Lo'pho had to admit

Bri-"make it 3 groups Relena"

Relena-"I thought you would stop me from going"

Lo'pho-"well since you all aren't trained enough to fight dark wizards someone should make sure your not hurt"

Bri-"yes and we'll need to report this to the magic counsel after"

Kay-"so who is in which group"

Bri-"Bryan and Jakey then Kay and Lo'pho and me and Relena, Relena lead the way "

Relena nodded and started to lead the way

They flew to the village to see a sickly yellow holes with slug like creatures with sharp teeth, size larger than the average human they all split up into their respective groups Bri and Relena were now walking towards a nest

Bri-"Relena can I ask you a question?"

Relena turned and looked at Bri

Relena-"of course, you can"

Bri-"why are are you so distant from us, we're meant to be a team"

Relena looked shocked at the question then her face softened eyes looking into the distance

Relena-*sigh*"it's not something I like to talk about, I lost my family and all the other people that I was close to, that's all I'm saying"

Bri's eyes softened at Relena, she was scared of losing someone else, this was the first time she opened up to anyone since joining the protectors

Bri-"you don't have to worry about losing anyone else" placing her hand on Relena's shoulder then suddenly Relena's mood changed back to cold and distant

Relena-"still, anyways we need to free the villagers"

The two walked cleared the nests meeting back with the others now since they were done the people were free but that was when dark wizards surrounded them, Bri was quick shooting her magic into the sky as a signal to the others

?????-"tt.tt.tt. what do we have here, a guild leader and oh look who it is the head guard L-" before the dark wizard could finish his sentence Relena attacked him with her sword when the other Protectors arrived and joined the fight when the dark wizards started to disappear the last one started to speak

???-"we know were your hiding Lunar" then he vanished Relena seemed frozen then shook it off turning towards the others

Relena-"thanks for helping me out guys"

Lo'pho-"it's alright we always protect our own"

Bri-"now lets get going back to the guild hall"

Relena-"I need to stay and check on everyone in the village"

Jakey and Bryan smirk at each other

Bryan-"we already checked on everyone whilst you and Bri were coming over"

Relena-"but we were just attacked by dark wizards so I need to check on them in case anything happened"

Bri-"no you don't, if they need us they know how to contact us alright"

Lo'pho-"and we have the grand magic games party we need to get ready for!"

Relena-"wait what?"

Jakey-"y-yeah if your around more often, you would know"

Bryan-"Jakey does got a point there"

Relena-"lets get going then" admitting defeat

The protectors flew back to the guild hall with 2 hours left before the party so with that the protectors started to talk with each other with Relena chipping in with some comments, since there forcing her to rest and not train, then they started to ask questions to each other

Bryan-"re why are you so distant from us?"

Relena-"it's not something I want to talk about all my family and the people close to me died, that's all I'm saying" she saw there pitying looks

Relena-"well isn't there a party we have to go to?" 

Kay-"its already time?"

Lo'pho-"yep let's go"

The protectors went to Alantide to the hall they were meeting in, listened to the opening speech, if you look closely, you would see Relena glaring at the guild master like she wanted him dead, Michel and Bri noticed this and after the speech the guilds grouped back up

Lo'pho-"remember we're representing the protectors guild"

Then someone walked over                                                                                                                   

Grandmaster Jonathan-"hey guys, welcome to the party and I hope you have a great time"       

Bri-"of course we are Jonathan"

Relena-"hi I'm Relena,Relena Peacecraft, I'm just gonna go now" she walks away from the group to closer to the doors looking over everyone, Jonathan narrows his eyes quickly then turns back to his 'normal' attitude                                                                                                                                  

Jonathan-"well don't know her problem"                                                                                                          

Bri-"Relena isn't the most sociable of us, she doesn't like getting close and opening up, Jonathan she'll open up"

Jonathan-"yeah alright I better go talk to the other guilds"

After that the guild splits up to talk to other guilds, Micheal and Bri goes outside

Micheal-"our suspicion is still Jonathan correct?"

Bri-"yes but did you see Relena glaring daggers at him, and her tone towards him was hostile"

Micheal-"Relena knows something we don't, that makes her dislike Jonathan"

Bri-"yes but we won't find out anything from Relena until we gain her trust and we need to talk with other guild masters something happened today"

Micheal-"agreed we better go back before we raise suspicion"

The two walk back inside to the party towards the other guildmasters whilst that was happening Lo'pho managed to get Relena to go talk to people the two were walking towards Divinus Magia

David-"oh look a kitty cat"   

 Lo'pho-"Im not a kitty cat!" 

Relena-"your just making fun of others because your insecure aren't you" 

David looked shocked at the introduction, the others laughed                                                          

David-"w-what no I'm not"                                                                                                                                   

Zaro-"I'm zaro the viking king who are you"  

Lo'pho-"I am Lo'pho of locatus and viking eh?" 

Zaro-"yes, who are you little pettie metal lady"     

Relena-"well drunk idiot, I'm Relena Peacecraft, head guard of the village Phoenix and I'm one of the tallest in the protectors so who are you calling little"         

Mario-"oh this is going to be entertaining" the others could agree  

Zaro-"you, got a problem little metal lady"

Relena-"well I'm not little and at least I'm not a drunk idoit, who carry beer with them all the time"  

  Zaro-"beer  is a  good baverage"  

Relena-"yeah for drunk idiots like you, I'm going to go now Lo'pho" Relena walks away to the outside area walking towards the fence looking over the city with the moon raised high she pulled out a moon pendent it was one of a kind because Eclipse made and gave her, sighing she looked at the pendent but when she heard footsteps she placed her necklace back, she turned to see a person she doesn't know and Bri

Bri-"hey Relena this is Micheal the guildleader of grimshade and why aren't you inside"

Micheal-"yo"

Relena-"hi, I wanted some fresh air and hello Micheal, I'm Relena"

Bri-"so why are you out here really"

Relena-"inside reeked of beer and mead, I don't like strong smells of it"

Micheal-"or was it arguing with Zaro from Divinus Magia"

Relena-"no"

Jonathan enters

Jonathan-"hey guys you should head back in the party is ending soon"

Micheal and Bri enters the party again

Relena-"you won't be able to hide for long, they'll find out and then you'll finally get karma" she said walking towards the party

Jonathan-"oh they will never know what I am, but what about you Lunar, would they find out?"

Relena-"it's Relena and they won't find out after all I was an experiment but they don't know that and when it's time for my long deserved justice against you and those dark wizards there won't be any mercy, now I'm going back inside" Relena walks back inside taking the longer way back while Jonathan walked back inside the normal way unaware to the person watching in the shadows...................................
