WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

           WITCHES have provided guidance to the supernatural since thousands of years ago. Many folklore have been recited, stating the the birth of these magic-wielders and  they all end the same, "—and their fury birthed the creatures of the night, hungry for human flesh." The most famous tale transpired in Salem, circa 1692 and the infamous execution of witches. It was said after the death of the hundredth witch, all the three powerful covens joined hands and in their birthed a creature who held the power of the wolf in moonlight, but in day they were once again mere humans. And so finally on a full moon, the leader of each coven channeled their powers and their promise echoed to be true: for their fury birthed the creatures of the night, hungry for human flesh. They brought life to the curse of a werewolf  and along with it, enchanted a flower to substitute as its weakness because no one can be immortal— it demolishes the circle of life.  

         The Wolfsbane became the only weakness for the werewolf, but for a creature that sought to kill; a simple flower wouldn't be enough for their end. So the three covens— the Agni coven or the coven of fire, the Terre coven or the coven of earth and the Aqua coven or the coven of water— created one more coven. A coven that is secluded from the rest of the world with only one objective, to become the Wolfsbane. That was how the Lunar coven, or the coven of the moon, came to be. Each Lunar was a breathing Wolfsbane designed to end only those who seek to kill. 

          The Lunar coven hadn't survived for very long. The power vested in them was far too much for some, and so some werewolves have taken that to their advantage, slaughtering any Lunar on sight. Sakura Sato from the renowned Japanese family consisting of hereditary Lunar's took the burden of fulfilling the legacy that her extended family couldn't. When she rose, the werewolves were scared again and only fifty years later were they allowed to breathe again, when Sakura expired. ( What they weren't aware of was that before dying, Sakura used the last of her powers to encapsulate a last spell on her pregnant granddaughter-in-law. She died in bliss knowing that her legacy will be carried on to a descendant years later, making the witch even stronger then she was— the Selene. )

        The trio of covens ( the Agni coven, the Terre coven, the Aqua coven ) later isolated themselves from the Lunar coven, their own creation when differentiation between them arose. In isolation, they created a curse of their own— a curse for the Lunar's. And when the Selene, the strongest witch in history, meets a werewolf as rare as she, she will break the taboo. She will break the first and the only law of the legacy fuming in her bones. 

        And when this happens, the end of all supernatural will arise— and it would be too late to stop it.
