“It’s your job to make sure he doesn’t escape” I opened his eyes hearing the sound of chains
and looked around confused. I was in a building of some sort but why. As I tried to rub my eyes I
felt the rope around wrist making him cry out in shock but it was muffled by a the cloth around
my mouth.

“Well our friend woke up” one said as I started to struggled against his binds.
I heard a the loud sound of chains and he looked over to see Ty still in dragon was chained to
the ground. Large metal cuffs around his paws, the were secured by chains that were in the
ground. His wings were also bounded, and around his muzzle was a chain glowing light blue
wrapped so tightly around his muzzle that you can see dry blood around it.

The rest of the
chains glowed red indicating magic, Ty looked at me his purple eyes filled with worry.

“So quick question how are we going to sell something this big” one of the goans asked quickly
making me remember everything that happen, these were hunters and they wanted to kill us.

“The dragon is worth a large amount of money, who knows maybe we could throw in a few
diamonds or emeralds in the price” the boss said as I tried to get out of my binds. I quickly
stopped feeling blood run down my wrist.

“ what about the blonde we can’t kill him” another one asked but the boss smiled, “his kind is
worth a lot of gold but many will prefer a girl” he said. ‘Wait my kind what are they talking about’
I thought as watched them. Ty gave a growl as he started to pull at his chains but gave a growl
as the magic gave him a shock, “That won’t kill him right” the boss asked but what I assumed
was the mage shook his head.

“It will stun his for a few minutes but it still hurts” the mage said, “we leave this town tomorrow
and take them both to our buyer” the boss said. ‘No’ I thought ‘I don’t even now where I am
how will we both get back now’.

As light filled the building we were in everyone looked over to
the doorway to see a person standing there. I couldn’t see him clearly but I can see the green
cloak he was wear, the hood was covering his brown hair.

“Whoops wrong building” he said as he looked around and quickly spotted Ty, “What’s going on
here” he asked fixing the black glasses on his face. I tried to warn him but of course I keep
forgetting I have the stupid gag across my mouth. He looked over at my direction, the to Ty and
then he looked at the thieves who pulled out their weapons.

“This is none of your business” the boss yelled making me look over to the stranger, he wore a
smile on his face. “This is totally my business now” he said as the thieves approached him. He stepped back and pulled out a book before releasing a black cloud making the enemies stumble
back.

‘Magic was all I could think’, “Come get me” he said before running out of the building the
others chasing. I watched in pure amazement as they all left, Ty went back to struggling only
making his scales crack and bleed.

A sound behind me made me look and see a pair of blue
feline like eyes staring at me, I gave a yelp making Ty look at my direction.
As the eyes came closer the owner of those eyes stepped out of the shadows, I gasped seeing
someone with strange pink hair appear but something stood out. It wasn’t the pink lion tail and
ears but this hybrid had lion like paws for hands and feet.

“Don’t say a word we’ll get you out” he said walking over to me and clawing the ropes off, I took the gag off last.
I quickly sprang to my feet and looked at him , he handed me an iron sword. “Who are you” I
asked but a snarl from Ty made us look at him. “I’m Kyle” he said before running over to the
chained dragon, “You know I’m here to help already” he said to Ty as he ran his paw like hands
over the key holes of the chains.

I saw him unsheathe his claws and started to pick the lock with
his claws with no problem.
Once his paws were free, Ty used his front to pull of the chain around his snout. He gave a
growl of pain as it feel to the floor, the scales around his muzzle was bleeding. “My master will
fix that for you but I suggest you stay like that” Kyle said as Ty nodded. I just stood there
shocked seeing Ty so willing obey this stranger who came out of nowhere.

“Kyle” we all looked
towards to door to see the same mage
“Master” he said as Ty snarled stepping in front of me, “We mean no harm but the ones behind
me do” he said backing up as an arrow flew by his head. “Everyone get behind me” Ty said as
the other quickly bolted behind him. I watched as he took a deep breath before breathing purple
fire at the entrance just as the gang showed up.

“How are going to get out now you can fly” I
said looking at his wings that were still bound, Kyle couldn't get them off.

“Well I may have an idea” the stranger said as pulled out the same spell book, “Names Tyle by
the way” he said as Ty looked at him. After he chanted a few words the chain around Ty’s wings
broke making him quickly spread them. He gave a roar as he quickly grabbed me and take to
the sky. I held on as he flew through the open hatch of the room, I looked below me and
watched in amazement as pink lion who I knew was Kyle climb out with Tyler on his back.

The two jumped down and quickly followed us on foot. Once Ty thought we were far enough he
landed and turned back to normal right before collapsing. “Ty” I yelled as I ran over to his and
shook him, he looked up. “I’m just tired” he said before slowly standing up with my help, “He’ll
be fine rest is all he needs” Tyler said as he walked over to use with Kyle following.

The pink lion looked at me before looking back at his master, “You're welcome” he said. As he
pulled out a pink potion and handed it to Tyler who thanked him. “Where are we” I asked but
Tyler looked at me. “Not far from your home so don’t worry” he said, “Wait why did you save us is a better question” I asked again. No answer this time, Kyle helped Ty to his feet, “Your homes
this way right” he asked as he pointed south. I looked around trying to spot some familiar
landmarks.

I saw the sun rising above the trees, “The direction the sun is rising” I said as I help
him support the tired dragon.
