Y/N's P.O.V
It's been two weeks since that one exciting day I had with the guys and the boys. I still remember it as one of my most favorited moments.

Today was a bright and sunny new day. I was walking around in the village when I saw Lady Katelyn and a few of her guards at the front door of Lord Aphmau's house. I felt worried. So I quietly walked up the stairs and to Lord Aphmau's house where Lady Katelyn was nowhere to be seen with her guards. I then run up to the door. It was locked.

"Hey! What are you doing out here?!" I turned around to see two guards in O'Kasis armor. Their swords were only a few inches away from my body. I was backed up against the wall to the house.

"What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" One guard asked through gritted teeth.

"I was just going to see if Lord Aphmau was-" I was then cut off by the second guard.

"Your Lord is okay. She's having a private chat with Lady Katelyn. Now you need to leave. You weren't invited to this conversation. So go do some farming or what ever you have to do." The second guard said. I then put my hands up surrendering and walking back down the stairs and into the village.

Cake's P.O.V
I couldn't believe it. Lady Katelyn wanted to join us?! But she was a Jury Of Nine and one of Zane's lap dogs! She could just be telling us that, so she can lie like all the rest of those Jury Of Nines!

"How do we know your not lieing about all this? You could just be saying this to trick us then get information and then betray us and give it to Zane. Your just another one of his lap dogs aren't you? Like all the rest of those Jury Of Nine members!" My face started to heat up.

I felt so much anger towards her and Zane! He was my brother but he did horrible things and betrayed both me and the whole entire Ro'Meave family! Lady Katelyn then started to cry with actual tears running down her face. I didn't care for her tears! I wouldn't give her any pity or sympathy! Then Aphmau got up and started to comfort her.

Why comfort her?! She doesn't deserve it for what her and her Jury Of Nine buddies have done to so many people in this region!

"Cake that wasn't necessary! At all!" Aphmau said starting to yell a little.

"But how do we know she isn't lieing about all this?! She could be making up this whole sob story! I saw Jeffery last week and he was doing fine!" I said yelling too.

"That's enough Cake!" Aphmau yelled at me.

I threw my hands in the air and walked outside heading towards the big tree.

Dante's P.O.V
Cake threw her arms in the air and walked out the door. I then followed her to see where she was going. She walked up the path to the big tree and went inside. I followed close behind trying not to be seen. When I got to the top I saw her sitting down in Levin and Malachi's tree house. I hid on the stairs so she didn't notice me.

"It's a beautiful day outside...
Birds are singing...
Flowers are blooming...
People like Zane...
Should be burning...
In hell..." I felt confused. What was she saying? "A great person that I once knew said that. He wise and funny. He had a kind heart. But...he was soon killed by a dangerous person."

Was she even talking to me?

"What do you think, Dante?" Cake said.

I then had a rush of nervousness run through my body. She turned around and looked at me. I got up and walk over to her. She patted the empty spot on the floor next to her. I sat down my armor clanking as I moved.

"Cake I know you have a bad history with Zane and stuff but...What exactly happened back there?" I asked. I was concerned. Was Cake feeling okay?

"I just didn't trust her. Ya know? She works for Zane and he kills the innocent with no reason. He just wants power. And he got what he wanted. It just..gets me SO angry when I think about Zane or one of his minions to try to betray their own leader! Like how do we know that this Lady Katelyn person is lieing and just wants to give Zane information about our weaknesses?" Cake said throwing her hands in the air. Her face started to heat up again.

I then looked at her and saw the worry in her eyes. Her brown crystal like eyes shined in the sunset's light.

"I just...don't want anyone to get hurt." She said her voice trembling.

She held her knees close to her. I saw a tear fall down her face. I then looked at her then turned her head towards mine.

"Listen. I'm not gonna let anything happen to both you and everyone else in the village, I promise. Ok?" I said. She nodded.

I then kissed her. It was short and soft. It was comfortable and amazing. We pulled away and we were both blushing a light pink. She then got up and went down the stairs and back to the village. I followed close behind. We went back up to Lady Aphmau's house where everyone was still there. Lady Aphmau and Lady Katelyn were finishing up their conversation.

Aphmau's P.O.V
"Thank you Lady Katelyn. And you are welcome to join us in the Phoenix Alliance." I said shaking her hand.

She then nodded and walked back to her boat with her two guards. I turned around and saw Dante and Cake standing there. I knew that Garroth had left and Laurence had followed him. Cake folded her arms.

"I'm not gonna trust her until she proves she's not lieing." She said. I shrugged.

"Ok you think what you think alright. I trust her though. So if she wants to betray Zane behind his back then let her. It's her choice plus she knows that Zane has done no good. So I trust her." I said trying to convince Cake to trust her. She shrugged I then gave up. "So what did you two do?"

They both blushed a light pink. I smiled, then rolled my eyes. I'm just glad that Lady Katelyn isn't on Zane's side.
