OMNISCIENT

"Sir, I'm sorry if I'm late." Sana, the new harlot in the bar, apologized to her professor as soon as she entered his office. "I bumped into Jimin on the way here." The old man sighed and told her to sit down to hear her reports. She smiled before her professor and sighed which made him curious.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Last night, an accident almost happened." She told him and gave him the folder with Zhang Yixing's profile in it. "That's Zhang Yixing, the owner of the bar, and he was about to rape Mina last night." He wanted to hear more of her reports, so he lent his ears. Sana knew that he's silent because he wants to listen to her words, so she continued on telling. "But Jimin came. I don't know why he's there, but he came and the next thing I knew is that he's with Mina on their way home. That's all, sir." The professor leaned his back against the swivel chair and turned his back on Sana. He doesn't know what should he do about the owner.

"How many harlots are inside the bar?" He asked.

Sana was startled after hearing his question. She was kind of expecting some sort of different words, so she was prettt stunned. "Including me and Mina, sir?"

"Exclude the two of you."

"Nine, sir." She answered.

"Are they good people?" She doesn't know why he is asking such weird questions, but she just answered it anyway.

"Yes, sir. All of the harlots get along inside the bar and they take good care of Mina the most since she's the most delicate of them all." He sighed and brainstormed on what should he do.

"What if I discharge all of them from work?"

"Eh?" Sana asked. She's confused because of what she heard. Why would he fire all of the harlots? "Sir, they don't have any more place to go. That's the least work that they can do since most of the employers won't hire them because of their past work." She explained. Even though she was just a heartless spy in the place, she saw each and every one's attitude inside the place. They're good people with good personalities and she doesn't want to lose their jobs. "And the same goes to Mina, sir." She added. "She dropped out of school and she worked as a harlot, so no employer would probably hire her."

The old man fidgeted his fingers on the arm rest of his swivel chair while his other hand is resting under his chin. He's sighing from time to time, deciding on what should he do. "I guess I'll have to call Hyuna and Jessi." Hyuna and Jessi are two of the owners of the casinos and bars throughout Korea. "I'll sell Yixing's property."

"What?" Sana asked, probably surprised. She doesn't know how would he kick out Yixing from his own property. "How would that be possible--"

"Zhang Yixing's property is illegal." He turned around to look at his spy. "He doesn't have any business license or anything, so that's why I'm going to call Hyuna and Jessi for help." She sighed and looked at the folder ontop of the table. "I want you to follow their rules for a few more weeks, Sana. After your assignment, I'll give you your money." She nodded and excused herself. She was about to open the door and when it opened by itself which almost made her jump in shock. Jimin peeked from outside to meet with the professor, but he was shocked to see Sana more.

His eyebrows furrowed instantly, "What are you doing here?" She decided not to speak, but to run away from his question. She didn't mind him and just walked away from him. He looked back to see her run away, but he didn't bother anymore. He entered the office and asked, "Is he your student, sir?"

The old man nodded, "She is." Jimin raised a brow and just shrugged off all of his weird thoughts.

It's been a few days since Jimin rescued Mina from that Zhang Yixing and now, she heard the news that Yixing is not the owner anymore. Hyorin told the news to her, so she was pretty shocked after hearing it. "Unnie, where are we going to work now?" She asked through the phone.

Hyorin sighed from the other line, "I don't know, actually. They told us to stay out from the club as of the moment because they will be renovating it." Mina bit her lip whike her shoulders just fell. She doesn't know what she should do anymore. She feels like she's experiencing the unluckiest moment of her life.

"Where are you going to work, unnie? You know that they won't employ us because of our past jobs." She asked. She's hoping that Hyorin would give her work, too.

"Jooyoung is going to help me for a while."

"U-Unnie..." Mina stuttered. "I was hoping if I can get a job from Jooyoung oppa, too..." Her voice becomes faded as she asks for a request.

"Oh, sorry, sweetie. Jooyoung specifically told me not to bring other girls, but I would ask him if he can help you, too." Mina felt embarrassed after that. As much as she doesn't want to disturb the couple from their own lives just to give her work, she still has to or else she would not live. She has to work and get paid in order to survive and live anyway.

"Thank you, unnie." She said.

"No worries, sweetie." And then, Hyorin ended the call. Mina sighed and leaned on the backrest of her bed.

Jimin is pretty aware of the situation, so he asked his parents from Busan if they can give his friend a job since she's pretty jobless at the moment. They want to see the lady that Jimin was talking about before employing her, so he's standing in front of Mina's unit right now, readying to knock. He doesn't know how should he approach her, so he's practising what should he say.

"Hello, Mina. Um, I'm offering you a job--aish. It sounds like a maniac." Jimin groaned and sighed. He tried practising his lines again and got himself ready to knock.

Meanwhile, Mina got up from bed after receiving a text message from Sana, her co-worker, saying that they should meet if Mina wants a job. Of course, she has to get a job, so she opened the door and shockingly saw Jimin from the outside.

Her eyebrows crossed, "What are you doing in front of my door?"

Jimin noticed that Mina is wearing one od the clothes that he bought her, so it made him smirk which turned into a gleeful smile. "A-Ah, I heard that the club is being renovated, so I guess you don't have any job as of the moment--"

"I got a job already." Mina retorted and walked pass him. He was about to get her wrist, but he remembered that she doesn't like to be touched by any man, so he decided to follow her instead.

Mina noticed his steps, so she stopped and faced him. "What do you want, Noodle Boy?" She asked.

"I don't want to see you getting tortured mentally again." Jimin answered, pertaining to Mina's past incidents with some guy and Yixing. She didn't say anything any more, so Jimin continued on following her until they reached a nearby café where Sana is waiting. "Who are you going to see?"

"My boyfriend." She jested which made him stop from walking as they were crossing the street. Mina noticed that she wasn't being followed anymore, so she looked back and saw Jimin almost getting crashed by a car. She went back to him, took his wrist and dragged him towards her which snapped him out from confusion.

Jimin looked back at the guy who is cussing at him for blocking his way. He wanted to say something back, but he decided not to say anything more. Jimin sighed and looked at Mina's pissed face. "Thank you for saving my life." Jimin smiled, but Mina turned her back to him and entered the café.

Jimin entered the café as well and followed Mina. Sana's eyes went to him immediately and so they both got stunned. "What are you doing here?" Sana asked.

"What are you doing here?" Jimin asked back, emphasizing "you". He wasn't expecting to see her again.

"Noodle Boy," Mina raised her index finger. "If you're going to argue with a woman for the second time around inside a café, save it. It's either you're going to walk away or sit beside me." Jimin had no choice but to sit beside Mina and save his talks for Sana. They were in a position like that when Sana told them that they're still waiting for two of her friends.

Mina was pretty curious since she wasn't told that they'll be that many inside the café. She was actually anticipating that it's either Hwasa or Hyorin that will join them. The bell rang, so Sana waved her hands to her friends from afar.

Mina looked back and her jaw just dropped instantly.
