Shiro's P.O.V:
There it is, (Y/N)'s house. how long has it been? Her house hasn't changed a bit. I was feeling a little nervous about this, so I invited Pidge to help me. So many things were in my mind: Will she recognize me? Will she remember? Is she going to be mad at me for leaving her?

Those thoughts disappear when Pidge nudges me to knock on the door. All this anxiety and pressure is a lot for me, and thats saying something because im a leader. But whatever, I walk slowly to the door, and knock on it gently.

(Y/N) P.O.V
I here someone knocking at the door, probably some sales person like always. I got off the couch and opened the door. I was greeted by an unfamiliar face, he seems like someone I met but nothing came up.

He smiled softly at me "(Y/N)!" he said with joy and gave me a hug...randomly. I felt uncomfortable so I pushed him away gently. "What do you want?" I said tiredly. The man looked at me funny, but formed a smile.
"(Y/N), its me! Shiro?" My eyebrows went up, thats impossible. Him and his crew mates died on the Kerberos mission, I felt devastated and couldn't hold back on it.

Shiro's P.O.V
She laughed nervously. "I'm sorry, but I dont believe you." My heart dropped, she said it so bluntly that it sounded like she didn't care. What happened on earth while we were gone? Without another word, she slammed the door on me.

I walked to a tree to hit my head. Why doesn't she remember me, did she forget about me and moved on? No, she would never forget me, I have to think of something. 💡! Idea, I know the perfect place for her to remember. "Pidge," I yell out to her until she jumps out of the tree, "I have a new plan."

(Y/N)'s P.O.V:
There were two things running inside my mind while I was channel surfing, it was about that man: was he Shiro, or was it some old pervert stalker? I would like to be the first one but I still didnt believe it. Not until someone knocked at the door.

I turn off the TV and walk to the door and open it, it was the man from last time, he looked nervous. He sighed. "I know you might not trust me," he was making this along as he goes, "but I want to take you somewhere that you might like to see." He ended with a smile.

I wanted to be shocked but I nodded. before I could speak, he grabbed my hand and he pulled me to his direction. We walk for a LONG time, so long in fact I couldn't walk anymore. The went to me and suddenly picked me up bridal style...I was speechless. For the rest of the walk, I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep.

(old fashion time skip)

I wake up on a bench, with the man sitting next to me, a memory formed in my head but it faded too quickly. Why is this so familiar? We sit there in awkward silence until the man moved and walked up to me.

Shiro's P.O.V:
I take a deep breath and try to remember the exact words I used to ask her to be my girlfriend:

(Y/N), after so many years of being best friends and partners in crime, there was something that I had in mine.

Her eyebrow rises. I take another deep breath.

That something was you, every time we're apart, your gorgeous hair, your laugh, and your determination to keep going.

(Y/N) face went in shock, I could see sparkles in her eyes.

So thats why I brought you here, (Y/N) (L/N), for years I've kept this bubbled up and I didnt know how to ask you,

Tears start to form in her (e/c) eyes, this is it, you can do it Shiro.

(Y/N) (L/N), will you be my girlfriend?

There was some silence, until I hear crying, she was crying. "Oh Shiro," (Y/N) jumps to me to give me a hug, "im so sorry for not knowing its you, im such an idiot."

I calm her down by petting her hair, its starting to work. I hold her chin and give her a kiss, this kiss warmed are hearts.

Extended Ending:
Pidge is in a tree quietly clapping and trying not to be seen.
